  1. Hi everybody ! For all those who are using the grid interface with steam, maybe, just like me, you'd like to change the pictures shown. In order to do that, just right click on your game and choose "Set Custom Image" with an image of your preference,( 460x215 only however). And here are some pictures I "made",( just a simple editing thanks to sacred wiki pictures): And others I found on the web, related to a certain Jinx but the page looks deleted so at least it won't go lost^^ And don't hesitate to share your own personal picture if you'd like, so that we could all have a wider choice^^ Good day to you all !

  2. Forgot the actual question - number of runes Vehemance - just one. Socket another vehemance rune somewhere if you can handle the extra regen. Dwarven steel - as much as possible. If you have 4 unwanted runes you can swap them. Dwarven armour - a few runes. I use to combine it with war cry before bosses. Never used greed all that much. I would also use the combo master to make a vehemance combo x 4 (or swap one for war cry).

  3. Vehemance is one of those CA that have alot of initial regen. You will find it hard to get it to < 2.5 seconds tbh in the early levels. Pump Physical regen, concentration, and find gear with regen special move % (common on boots). Always have yellow potions. Stick to a single rune, you can always socket another vehemance rune for the bonus. You want to find a balance between damage, attack value and regen. Damage you can get from the base weapon, % damage rings or from the smith, Dwarven steel and weapon lore - you can find it on items easily. Try have weapon lore at half your level and get the rest from bonuses. Thodrans 2H hammer - if you are lucky enough to find one - has incredible base damage.

  4. The pleasure is all mine It's an honour to finally being able to meet the great gogoblender (one, who inspired my 1st Daemon build)! Over the years, I have learned a great deal from DarkMatters which helped me appreciate the true potential of this little gem that is Sacred. Thanks for all the good works and for keeping this place alive! You're welcome friend. Maybe someday, I'd have my own greedy dwarf running amok through the desert - throwing flames and all shorts of dwarven profanities..

  5. Welcome back to Sacred 2, Crowgrrrl. There's a lot to love about it. After all, it's an impressive game with hundreds of quests spread over a massive map. It is quite inexpensive, and there have been so many amazing updates with the Community Patch Version 1.60. Also, with the Elite Textures, there is so much detail that it rivals 64 bit 4K games. Have you had the opportunity to check out the long list of fixes included with the 1.60 Patch? You may take a gander at the file here at Google Drive: Sacred 2 Community Patch Full Changelog

  8. 3 years later, but maybe still a relevant question. Here is the full list of changes, including internal changes: Added code to load global.res from hard disk instead of the encrypted resource, enables texts to be modded removed encrypted global.res from .exe saving 2mb in file size removed cheat codes to get space for own code multi-instancing, run Sacred multiple times at once multiplayer crash fixed changed display of version number without changing internal version to stay compatible to closed A.Net debugger freeze fixed changed loading of balance.bin to use a hard coded path, we did this change for our mod loader, which would patch the pathes of files to get them loaded from the mod directory black screen fixed, when using another window in lobby, specifically so you can sit in the chat lobby of A.Net and use your browser or anything else while still be able to read the lobby chat

  12. ha, I remember those glows... peeps would collect entire armor sets just to be color coordinated, and, by effect, get resistances: gogo
