  1. Hey guys, after our last Kickstarter failed, we accepted that small games like that are not interesting enough for you. So now we put everything in that we have and have started a new big project. I don't want to tell you just now what the game is exactly about, but I am pretty sure quite some people on Darkmatters could be interested. We will tell you everything about the game as soon as we have a prototype ready, which will take a few month. Currently the concept is in the works and programing of the prototype has started. We are no longer working with the coder, we did our small games with. We parted ways, but staying friends. I do the coding of the prototype. Aarne Jungerberg (Sacred lead game designer) is creating the concept and will do level design. Cords-Illustration is doing the graphics for the prototype and we have a new team member, which is a book author. She will write the story, don't want to drop her name just yet, because it's all very fresh and not all details of our cooperation are worked out. But she did gave me a yes. Follow us on Twitter. We will regularly tweet how the project is progressing and will drop hints about the genre, world and story. If you want to chat with us directly, join our Discord. We are also looking for people who want to join our team and would want to work on a long term game project with us. If you are interested join the Discord and get in touch with us. We would gladly accept people from the Sacred modding scene and old SacredVault members into our team! You can also follow my personal Twitter, if you want. But all project relevant news will be on our official team Twitter. Would love to see some of you guys following us. This will either be our biggest hit or the hardest fail we ever had.

  2. So this was my first build after not having played the game for a long time. The idea for this character was originally to kill everyone and everything without doing anything, just sitting close to the enemy. However this changed later in the game because getting the damage of his main ability to go up is really hard. I DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS CHARACTER WILL DO PAST LEVEL 50 but at level 50 he was really good for what it's worth. The build itself is basically a battle mage, that will deal automatic magic damage to his enemies every second, reflect a big portion of close and ranged physical damage, deal decent physical damage from his weapon and additionally be able to spam spells at enemies that weaken them and make it even easier to kill them. Attributes: All points go to intelligence Spells: The only thing you care about is Astitute Supremacy , no need to even eat runes for any other spell category. There are only 3 spells you really care about: Levin Array, Raving Thrust and Reverse Polarity Buff Here are the upgrades I chose: Levin Array: Disperse, Hesitation and Dynamic Raving Thurst: Lash out, Vehemence and Lesion (Lesion is very important) Reverse Polarity: Sphere, Counterblow, Evade Eat all 200 runes for Reverse Polarity as fast as possible, leave the other spells at level 1 (later in the game your regen times will be way lower than the time it takes to cast so you could go up a few levels if you want) Do whatever you want with the rest of the upgrade points you get. Skills: Astitute Supremacy Lore Bargaining Astitute Supremacy Focus Armor Lore Dual Weild Consitution Ancient Magic Combat Discipline Tactics Lore Last skill can be whatever you want, I was gonna go either Toughness or Enhanced Percipitation You can also change their order however slightly if you want. The astitute supremacy skills are a must , Ancient Magic and Combat Discipline are there just for the reg and spell damage bonuses that will be pretty good once you get a lot of "All Skills +X Equipment". Same thing with toughness. Dual weild is there not only to increase your damage but also to allow you to have more sockets. You want to have half your equipment with damage / attack value enchantments and the other half with All Skill +X enchantments in the mid levels, damage / attack value only in the earlier levels and MAYBE All Skills +X only in the late levels. As for bargaining, although I barely put points into it, I had a seperate set of equipment that I would put on every time I go shopping (every few levels that brought it up to about 80) The only skills you will be putting points into are the astitute supremacy, constitution, armor lore and from time to time Combat Discipline if you want (Combat Discpline seamed to give more damage than Ancient magic) The last important thing is to have at least 3 life leach per hit items. The way you play with this character is you just attack everything head on, cast your Levin Array (and if fighting boss cast a combo of Levin Array and Raving Thrust to lower their health) and you can pretty much approach it however you want, you can either keep spamming your levin array along with the damage coming from your buff, you can and should also land some hits here and there to restore your health from time to time, or you can go just swinging at your weapons at everything and you will still dominate. Don't forget that you get a really good defense value bonus from your buff, at level 50 I also had 45% chance to reflect both close combat and ranged damage which adds another big layer of defense as well as damage.
