  1. Quick testing with the two level 20 copies, it's noticeably better. The copy with Ancient Magic in turn of Trading can kill a Devilkin in five damage pulses and four burn ticks (pulse, tick, pulse, tick, pulse, tick, pulse, tick, pulse -> dead). I think I'll run it from level 1 and see how it fares. Update 1: I'm running Devout Offense Focus/Concentration/Blessed Defense Focus with Holy Fire/Prayer and all points into Vitality. I did the Gahanka path and all went well apart from some elites which were stronger, but as I outgrew them in level it became easy. Gahanka on the other hand even at level 4 and my toon at level 7 was a tough and long fight. Lots of health potions and I had to bash him repeatedly with a yellow grade pole arm to bring him down. Wasn't easy though, but the rest of his entourage at level 4 died easily with HF and the ocasional Zeal. So regular mobs are in check but elite/bosses are a tougher bone to chew until I get my skills up. Continuing. Update 2: Ran the toon up to level 20 and until the Orcish Byway, and though I haven't tried going against Gar I think I won't be very good against him. Just a gut feeling. I've gone overboard with the skills and have chosen Devout Offense Focus/Concentration/Blessed Defense Focus/Ancient Magic/Riding/Trading for trying to maximize the auras and shop for +All Skills, which is where I'm at now. I'm completely broke though, so I guess it's probably time to do the Unique Mounts quest and grab the tiger when I sum up the gold for it. Then quest in Tyr Lysia in Normal for gold/gear/+All Skills and see where the build goes from there. If from then on I can follow the main quest and reach Hard I'll be very pleased with myself. So far Holy Fire has been very well balanced in my honest opinion. It's effective enough that I can run circles around mobs and bring down most of the regular ones, but at the same time it isn't causing that much damage per hit nor is it being a game changer against elites or bosses (the Raging Boar also didn't feel the burn much). I'd say that it's just about right as it is, now I'll have to see how it progresses the more the build progresses as well. But I'm liking it so far.

  4. Thanks for the good advice and the kind words, MetaL! To be honest, I started working to support others a bit, because I believe it is easier to mod, when you see that there are others, that are working their *ss off too. Is boosts your own morale and motivation if new content sees daylight and luckily, there´s no infighting here at Darkmatters. After two more modders showed up within days, VilyaTheWhite and Ruddick, and shared their creations and knowledge, I´m full of hope that we all will continue working on Sacred and keep it vital and healthy for the next years. I´m happy that you will introduce Ysendra´s work and mine to the russian community, I try hard to get the enhanced GUI done until Christmas. Combat Arts and spells keep me busy currently. (: ...and if you guys in Russia like it, it is all good!

  5. Top were some nuts, oranges, apples, then dried herbs and a small bottle of real good vinegar, and then a card with a free weekend for cooking classes at a 2 star restaurant. Danke lieber Nikolaus Saint Nicholas (Sankt Nikolaus) day again. hope you placed your boots and socks for the presents. Saint Nicholas died 6 decembre in 4th century. He was a bishop from a rich family. He heard that a father with 3 daughters had no money to pay their marriages. Also that they would have to work as prostitutes to earn the marriage money. So he acted. Knowing that the family was too proud to accept money from him he climbed up the roof. He poured gold coins from his pouch down the chimney. It happened that the family placed boots and socks over the hot ash to dry them. In the morning they went for their socks and boots and found the money in them... Now add that Nikolaus is shortened to Klaus, Claus, Claas,... in germanic languages. And you get the wellknown story. But on decembre the 6th. In Germany the Weihnachtsmann (Christmas man) is a total different person, He is wielding a rod and a sack and punishes the kids who didn't behave and gives gifts to ones who did. If a kid was real bad he put it in the sack and carried it away from its family. So I hope you all behaved and didn't forget to place your boots and socks.
