  2. Hello Jayce! Yes, it is never too late to say hello. I am glad that more users raise their voice after the forum bloomed a bit more. Thats nice. Speaking of maps, there is a guy who has access to the Toolset. Zerisius. I wrote him a PM, he did not respond unfortunately. Long time ago he was member of a modding team that tried to do some changes to S1, using the toolset. I suppose the whole thing is in German, it might be difficult to handle it if you arent a fluent German speaker. The possibility to add new maps or at least placeables to the game would be great. I will see if I can find out a bit more about it. Stay tuned, I will keep you up to date. Btw, its your life, you decide on your own, but I recommend to stay Miles away from equatorial areas. Southeast Asia is getting battered by a multi-resistant Malaria, origin is Vietnam most likely, and Africa is full of nasty diseases that make the hairs on your arm stand up. Oh, and good knowledge of French language, btw.

  3. Greetings everybody, I am registered in this site for one (almost 2 ! ) year and did not introduce myself. Will, I am living in Poland, soon another country, and still enjoying playing Sacred 1 and 2, since ... nearly their beginning, although started lately on the 2nd (4 years ago). Deceived that there is no more server for experimenting MPG, I don't despair to find possible host, or being the host. à bientôt

  4. This is the second level dungeon design level that the 1st dungeon level leads to. (Sacred 2: Sacred Hall Of The Temple Guardian) that I have shared with you all here, yes it is quite bare, the same as the other one, but I do not have images of those wonderful consoles etc. used in the final temple at the end of the Waste Lands where the Great Machine resides in. So, you will have simply imagine all of that, but I hope that you like this second dungeon. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/71960b2c-a978-4220-81f8-147ccc546867/Sacred-2-Sacred-Hall-2

  5. Greetings, I found some days ago a strange enigma into the Dryads forest. Does anybody passed through it? I checked on the forum and the sacredwiki but found nothing on it. It appeared to be impossible to reach the sword as a deadly beam strikes the player when we approach toward the strange and dark porcupine. Any suggestion ?

  6. I certainly would, if I shared blueprints with others. But everything I build is for my own accord, Rising World is like a more realistic Minecraft, and the only people who see what I build are the minerals I keep on my desk. The amethyst says "good job on the dungeon",though, and the malachite really liked your land resort. The smoky quartz doesn't say much, it's kind of antisocial .

  7. So sorry for the delay in my reply. Thank you, much appreciated that you liked my 3D models so much that you wanted to use them, that is what I post them for the Sketchup Warehouse, for others to use, any way they wish, all I ask is not to forget to give me a mention, since it is my work. Beyond this, I am not overtly too possessive of my work. I am glad that you both liked the Land Resort and the Dungeon Of Moxdoon. I am creating anothre dungeon level as I type this message, but this one is going to be so very different, I had tried once this before with the Azra-Zah dungeon level design, but no one took to it, so I hoping that with the one that I am doing will entice the people better, plus it premote free form, any design, any idea, any shaped room, any type of dungeion doors or portals to add on to the model that I have already made, so that it can expand and be the largest if not the worlds most largest, dungeon design project. It will be at least for everyone who can model to join in and do their own thing. The only thing that I wish and is required from everyone, who does add onto my dungeon level to give me credit and also mention that the name of the dungeon belongs to me, as since I named it. They do not have to do that, but it is asked out of genuine respect, as I would respect them and their own work in return.

  9. Because forests roads still blocked by branches I use my ancient BMW GS bike to drive to work. Driving a heavy cross-country bike off road is enough training each day. ;) 20 Euro, funnily that is the price for the most used training item of our daughter: a Pezzi-Ball. Her student appartment has the computer chair removed and a pezziball. Used for sitting and exercises. Then a Bosu-Ball, practical a half pezzi with a board as the other half, for balance training. Several Pedalo's - they are for balance training. Starting with one like this with the poles removed up to 3 kids can use it together. Training in a group is more fun With some training you can use a 3-wheel pedalo outdoors with big airfilled tyres. With these ones you can do slalom and curves. The board where your foot is on has only one axis and not too. So the weight is not on your whole foot but only on the front. Very good training for ligaments. Very common at handball training. Pezzi was the first who build these balls. So we say Pezzi-Ball. You can read the Original Pezzi on the picture. In the USA it is more often called Swiss-Ball or Gym Ball. Bosu- Ball. You can use it with the half ball up, or the board up. Yes. Most of the treatment was in Munich, so half of Germany laying in between. The twins were young and so we never could spend the amount of time we wanted at her hospital site. Was at her second big surgery when she noticed that she won't get this good at sport again. But while training the injured muscle she noticed that other kids were more handicapped. She helped with training them and when back home she said that she would like to work with handicapped kids: bow shooting, music, vaulting, ... At a school project in10th class with LEGO robots she was working on an artificial hand... At her 10th class she changed school to an integrated one: getting license for university in robotics while same time learning on job as orthopaedic prothesis maker.

  12. I'm always delighted that people still find their way to our boards. Such an old game, but still such a great community... of which you're now part! Those online servers bring back reams of nostalgia...its where I first fell in love with gaming, and it seems like its just something which isn't going to ebb. I know there were a a few members here had had managed to somehow reverse engineer the code for MP and they could perhaps even be reached in that topic here... I think they even brought their work to the Sacred 2 Steam pages? Happy to meet Jayce, and a hearty welcome to DarkMatters! gogo

  18. Thanks for your cool answer Hooyaah An Enthusiast team for sure would be perfect to make an "interesting community where we may become acquainted and interact with one another. " Thanks for asking, on the contrary feel free ! Actually I am not sure where I will go but it may be south east Asia, Philippines, or equatorial Africa ( Cameroon ) as per IT opportunities over there, my knowledges in this field which are still in progress, and the rythm of my heart. This idea of having a dedicated server for Sacred is very nice . I suppose it will be decided according to the amount of "Vintage" players who will connect. I was wondering by the way this idea : is it possible to create maps for sacred (1&2) ? Like for this game Heroes of MM 1234567, anyone can create a map then we just put the files in the concerned folder. It enhances seriously the life duration of the game. I mean here that, after having played Sacred many times with several heroes, maps and quests are repetitives, which can result a bit of annoyment/bore (and it is my feeling after some years). It is rather odder that I feel that especially on Sacred 2 although it is really more beautiful and fluid than the Sacred 1. As this possibility to get a server is making me blooming ideas I suppose this is a special thread of discussion for this topic. Please let me know if it is. Regards, P.S : How to set a citation like a signature after a discussion as you do "The reward for the virtue of patience is redeemed in everlasting dividends." ?

  19. Welcome (officially) to DarkMatters Jayce! There has been some discussion in regards to getting a server that will work for online multiplayer and I would particularly like to play Sacred 2 with other enthusiasts. It's nice to have members introduce themselves and become active posters as it is what makes this an interesting community where we may become acquainted and interact with one another. So, to what place will you be relocating? Please excuse my curiosity.

  20. Two weeks ago we got a video from our daughter playing wheelchair basketball. Our second is studying robotics and medicine. She is planing to specialize in artificial limbs for handicapped people. She watched some of them playing wheelchair basketball. She was asked to join because of not enough people and she said yes. She must have been good because the captain asked where she learned it. She was in a wheelchair several month each year after skin transplantations and scar treatments and was youth league in handball and soccer before the accident but never played wheelchair basketball before. She mailed that she was sad to say no to the offer to join the university team. Studying two disciplines leaves not much spare time for training. Today another mail: Seems the basketball team had contacted her med professor and he told her that the hours in training would count as practical work with handicapped people and the scars and muscle injuries allowing a 4.5 rating...
