  4. Make sure you are in Niobium and spam farm merchants for Visibility Range gear. You don't need bargaining for that, VR can spawn on blue rings. Then find gear with the most sockets (mostly set/unique items) and jam the jewelry in. Also keep a lookout for rare gear that has 2 slots and an innate VR bonus. Once you have your exploration set ready, go to a low difficulty (so you can ignore enemies) and basically just run through the entire game, always hugging the edges, both the surface and the dungeons. Level 2 dungeons are especially valuable for map explored (dungeons within dungeons). It's an entirely separate 3rd map layer and entering those with a couple hundred +VR% can net you 0.5-1% of map revealed just for entering.

  7. Unfortunately, I never developed a dryad to a high level with which I was well pleased. However, I have developed and perfected a remarkable High Elf Build that works well with even "yellow" (rare) armor purchased from Merchants and Blacksmiths and augmented by rare jewelry also purchased from Merchants (and Rune-masters). Keep up the great work, Jimmy!

And a chair where you can lift your feet up would be nice. Enjoy the day. Oh, and someone should call your boss and tell him that for today you got the permission to keep both hands into your pockets.

  10. I agree, Rommel. Art provokes emotion and an exquisite culinary experience stirs the senses and stimulates the limbic system, including the amygdala. Intense emotions can and do arise from food, especially when all aspects (color and appearance, texture, crispness/crunch, feel, taste, and smell) combine; the result is astounding. Great works of art hit the mark in just such a manner and leave their subject with a poignant experience which can remain in their long-term memory for a lifetime. love => friends and family

  13. Ever since I picked Sacred 2 up on release, I've always been tempted by the thought of fully filling in the map. Still, as you already know, actually revealing the entire map is quite the bloody complicated task. Even more so if you're going at it without the use of glitches and exploits (because I couldn't get them to work 😭). Many years later and after surging the previous two apocalypses, I decided to build my own Dyrad, a first for me. Thus, I thought I'd share my map revealing journey with you! Basically, I've kitted myself out with a few cheap rings that boost my reveal range (I have no shoppers and aventure like the pleb I am). And since I'll be traversing the entire of Ancaria, both overground and underground, I'll be taking screenshots and video captures of things I find interesting along the way. Buckle up and let's begin. Please keep in mind that this thread is a work in progress. The first 30% was by far the easiest to reveal. On my initial Silver run I did as many quests as I could without feeling overwhelmed. Which in Sacred 2 is harder than a very bored, very instagram-addicted Metapod. Still, 30% passed by with ease, and I found some intriguing stuff along the way. The force is strong with this X-Wing: If you look closely at this submarine, you'll see the remnants of exactly two billionaires: 50%. Now that one was easier to reach than expected, too! I basically circled overground areas while killing the odd group of mobs, and, well, that was about it. Ancaria's most wanted strikes again: Roses are red, the moon is too far, but I present to you, my friend, a brain in a jar: Oh, you want to finish your Gold playthrough? Standing under this here decking is the best I can do: 70%, or as I like to call it, "Oh no." After circling and subsequently filling in most of the overground map, I'd managed to knock my reveal bonus up to just over 200%. But, what's this? There's barely anything left to find? Yes, that's right, because the rest is hidden away underground apparently. Desert circles (like crop circles but crap): Bosch, the goblin who looks at cliffs: Nobody expects Floaty Mc'floaterson: 86%. It's quite the specific number, isn't it? Well, that's because I've uncovered just about all I can think of. Underground, overground, wombelling free, there's really ain't much else for ya boi here to see. Still, I'm currently trying to get my hands on boosting my reveal rate up to the 400% range if possible. UPDATE! Well, after a week of making my way through Platinum and with the help of idbeholdME, I've nabbed myself some high-reveal gear. That's right, 90%, baby! The end is very nigh. You can keep your scorpion summons. I have sheep... When you have mildly feminine features and guys online enjoy buying you gifts: I'll report back soon!

  20. playing on my ice elf I'm trying to do all quests in platinum to make leveling a bit less repetative, so far ive done all in the elf and human lands I could find and am almost through the orc lands so I found a locked door in a pirate cave near the seraphim valley, went looking online found out it was opened by a quest that isnt started by talking to someone who has a questionmark but by interacting with a somewhat hidden object. there is a quest thats started by opening a vase that contains a letter near a river in the elf region. I also found the quest burning crusade by walking somewhere in human lands. I also read about a hunting quest in the human lands you can only do after you've completed the campaign are there any other of these hidden or easily missed quests in the game?

  22. Hey! I'm currently finishing up my gold playthrough with my pet Dyrad. Unfortunately, however, one of the main quest NPCs decided to make like a mermaid and spawn in the ocean. I'm here specifically: The NPC was meant to spawn atop this wooden deck, like a sensible piece of clickable exposition should, but as you can see, He had other ideas. I can see him standing under there, drowning, chilling, contemplating the finer things, but I just cannot seem to reach him: I've tried restarting the game, teleporting away and just about anything else, but nothing has worked. Is anyone aware of a fix for this? I really hope my Dryad isn't ruined because this is the first time I've ever crafted my own build. - Jay

  26. Over the past few weeks, I've been meticulously crafting a new Dryad build and pushing the limits of summoning AI, which, to put it mildly, hasn't been the smoothest ride. So, in an effort to enhance our collective gameplay, I dove deep into the mechanics of two summons deemed most potent and reliable, hoping to uncover which one truly stands the test of time. The Objective: My journey was primarily fueled by the desire to circumvent a common nuisance - our summoned allies diving headfirst into a state of utter confusion, either halting their assault mid-battle or completely withdrawing from the fray. Methodology: Armed with a stopwatch app, I embarked on a series of tests. The moment our summoned creature leaped into action marked the start, pausing only when it decided to take an unscheduled break or retreat. Imagine orchestrating this setup... yeah, it was as cumbersome as it sounds. I conducted 100 trials - 50 amidst the sprawling expanse of the outdoors and another 50 within the confining walls of dungeons. Each session spanned 15 minutes, a testament to my need for a good freaking summon (or insanity, perhaps). Before diving deeper, it's crucial to note that my findings pertain exclusively to the Xbox version of Sacred 2. Two Star Scorpion Head Analysis: This summon is a DPS beast. Its unparalleled attack speed, combined with devastating damage at higher levels, is something to behold. - Outdoor Performance: On average, our scorpion friend took a breather every 14.4 seconds, with each pause lingering for about 5.3 seconds. Attempts at re-summoning yielded a mixed bag of outcomes. - Dungeon Performance: Here, the scorpion's breaks occurred roughly every 11.4 seconds, extending to 7.1 seconds on average. Observations: The cramped confines of dungeons seem to exacerbate the scorpion's tendency to halt its assault. Despite this, it faces challenges across all environments, unaffected by level, gear, or strategic build considerations. Two Star Dragon Head Analysis: Though it may lag slightly behind the scorpion in sheer power, the dragon compensates with agility, a cute face, and the ability to keep pace without constant teleportation - a significant factor since teleporting often results in a brief, but critical, pause in action. - Outdoor Performance: Our dragon ally disengaged every 19.1 seconds on average, with pauses lasting about 3.4 seconds. - Dungeon Performance: In dungeons, the average time between engagements dropped to 15.4 seconds, with each pause extending to approximately 5.2 seconds. Observations: Compared to the scorpion, the dragon maintains a more consistent presence in battle. It's noteworthy, though, that re-summoning either creature only rectified behavioral quirks half of the time. A peculiar find was that both summons tended to remain more engaged when I stood still (yet continued attacking), though the difference was marginal. In conclusion, for those venturing forth with a Dryad build on console, the dragon emerges as a slightly more reliable companion, especially for players seeking to avoid frequent summoning hiccups. However, if you're armed with patience and a desire for unmatched DPS, the scorpion remains a formidable ally. Happy summoning, - Jay

  27. Collection of Bugs so I can reference once I want to start fixing them in my mod. 29. I don't know why but I feel like sharing my ideas today. I'm thinking like following ideas: A Tree-Based dependency system for mods and character downloads Require everyone who wants to upload something to mention dependencies on upload so it gets automatically sorted into the tree which gets automatically structured this way. Basically Everything in the tree would at some point depend on Vanilla, which of coure is not downloadable. The download section will then automatically be structured based on the dependencies chosen. also a tree-based category system: And I think this should be a whitelist, no other categories allowed. We don't want people to upload their music or sweet cat images here. mods Modding Tools & Spreadsheets Characters Also a Tag-Based Category System for Mods XOR: Exactly one must be picked. OR: At least one must be picked. Multipe can be picked. "FINISHED", "WORK IN PROGRESS" and "DEPRECATED" (XOR) "SMALL", "MEDIUM" and "LARGE" (XOR) "Functional", "Graphical", "Sound" (OR) "Well-Tested", "Untested" (XOR) Disallow item downloads since you can very easily force the game to drop any specific item ingame and if every item gets downloadable for every version of the game, the download section would easily blow up to petabytes and become less overviewable and more messy. Instead, Pin a post with the reasons for this decision and link Flix' Tutorial on how to force-drop any specific item ingame to the download section Ability for potential downloaders to filter the download section for what you're looking for. Ability for uploaders to change your selected tags and dependencies anytime Every creator is notified upon enabling the restructurization of the download section that they have one month to fullfill the new requirements after which an admin sorts the uploads for them. This way we don't loose old uploads for which the creators are not active forums members anymore.

  30. Good to hear! This particular summon bug is making me reconsider a summon build to be fair.
    1 point
  31. Yep. If any NPC attacks something for a longer period without moving (say 5 seconds or longer, the AI is quite likely to drop whatever it's doing and just idle around for a few seconds, before starting acting again. For summons, standing still is definitely better, because then the AI only has to bother about attacking targets in range. If you are moving, it also has to constantly ensure it is within the leash range of your character (customizable on PC) and moving into the leash range if it is not, preventing it from attacking. If I remember correctly the finer summon controls where you can tell it what to attack, were introduced in Ice&Blood.

  32. hey guys! I remember this build for my Dryad! She was absolutely the most challenging of her different variations...but the voodoo dryads pagenatry and colors always made me smile... and so I thought she was sentenced to a life of slow sufering until someone gave me ( online in those days on the closed servers) a YELLOW LEGENDARY SCORPION...yah! I had not idea that the highest level of shrunken heads, legendary, could turn the scorpion into the quickest, most violent pet I could have imagine, and with that small gift I was able to tunnel upwards into the levels with all the different summons possible. BingBong, how did you happen upon the choice of scorpion...was it info you read to go for that one? and is your Scorpion what level? Theres a few colors of differing strengths correct? gogo ps regarding those moments when the scorpion would stop attacking, I think I just reset the attack button and ran away at the same time till he looked like he was hungry again

  35. I'm going to list suspect quests from vanilla game. I assume those are untouched in the CM Patch. Can't help with any new quests though: - Bandits - Act 1, you have to cross a bridge where a couple bandits will try to extort money from you. Triggers only when you walk across the bridge. - Unique God quests - every God you can pick your character to worship has a couple unique quests throughout the game. Namely one in Act 2, two in Act 7 and one in Act 9. One of the Act 7 ones is in a hidden Temple of the Gods to the north. - Ephrahim's Nightmare - Act 2 - triggered by killing a couple spiders attacking cows near Skook's Corner - The Fat Rat - Act 3 - the later parts of this quest do not give you a quest marker and you have to find the target destination without it. - Differing Opinions + Dowry - Act 7 - after you complete The Kidnapping quest with Ayshe, her father swears revenge. You have to walk into 3 very specific spots to spawn groups of assassins and ultimately go and kill the father the complete the quest. The quest has a marker, but can't be selected if you ever change the active quest in the quest log, making it very easy to miss. - Djinn - Act 7 - you have to break a specific vase near Dar Al Badja. - The Ghost Banquet - Act 9 - you have to walk near a grave in a ruin to spawn a ghost that starts the quest. Other than the specific quests, there are a ton that are exclusive either to the Shadow or Light campaign, or have a different version for each. So at least 2 diligent playthroughs are required to see most of the quests. Then there are of course class quests. Yes, Ancient Magic Mastery will break immunities on enemies and even lower any existing resistances the enemies might have. Has no effect on non-resistant enemies though.

  38. wedding -> Polterabend The eve before wedding neiighbours, former classmates, friends,... come to the house of the bride and throw porcelaine. Breaking porcelaine is said to bring luck. We had around 300 guests at the marriage of our oldest. The couple has to cleanup the porcelaine together before a little party can start. We served drinks and snacks at the firefighter building after the porcelaine breaking. The wedding is then normally with a smaller number of people. At our place before entering the chapel for the wedding the couple has to do challenges, like sawing a trunk blocking the entrance door with a two men saw to show that they can work together to solve problems.

  40. I'm probably getting rid of the plaster splint next thursday. So far everything has grown back together pretty nicely, no operation needed. It's just annoying and the plaster splint is bad for the skin. Funny story: I have written part 1 of my final exam yesterday while having a broken arm I was EXTREMELY nervous. The exam counts 20% towards my final grades, part 2 will count 30% and part 3 50%. So glad it wasn't my writing arm which broke or otherwise this could have become way worse for me

Same reason there's this page https://sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Seraphim_Mystique_Set And this page https://sacredwiki.org/index.php/Sacred_2:Sopor_Aethernis Genesis is just one of a kind though, so no other skins to add to the page. It's the same for all CM Patch sets. If they're reskins of an existing armor set, they're listed with the others of their kind. If they're unique they live on a page alone.

  47. I'm not to sure if someone has always tried this build but my aim was to make a strong dual wield melee character. At first I had my sights on a shadow warrior build or a inquisitor build but then I changed my mind after reading up on the Seraphim Queen Of Blades. Although the motto for most dual wield character is "Attack is the best form of defence" I decided to try and make a character where it has strong attack potential and defence is the best form of defence. My idea was to make a seraphim that dual wielded and hit immensely high using battle stance buff etc & also to be able to use warding energy shield buff for defence. I've put all of my skill points into the strength attribute (I'm power hungry) although at level 50 I'm thinking of throwing a view into stamina aswell (I've got +all skills socketed so keeping regenration time low wasn't to hard but if someone else was to try it, it may be a good idea to put skill points into stamina as it's not hard to keep damage high). I've already got a dryad bargainer so there is no point in putting skill points into the bargaining skill and instead focusing on raising tactics lore, dual wield, exhalted warrior focus & revered technology focus. The skills I undertook were as follows: - Tactics lore (Got to 5 to unlock dualwield & I'm keeping at character level to unlock more mods for exalted warrior focus and keep my weapon damage high). - Dual wield (I've kept at one for the time being because I've got +all skills socketed on some things and I'll use that to keep this skill going for the time being) - Exalted warrior focus (I'm keeping this at character level to keep battle stance fully buff'd and also keep regeneration times low). - Concentration (Kept 1 point in it, used merely for the second buff) - Revered technology focus (keeping this at character level also to mod warding energy and raise the level of it). - Warding energy (I've put 5 points in this for the time being to unlock constitution) - Armor lore (Again keeping this at 1 for the time being until I've fully sorted what I'm going to do, I am going to master this tho abit later on to keep regeneration time for armor low.) - Constitution (Because of my +all skills I'm already getting a considerable amount of hp added due to this skill but I'll also be mastering this skill by level 200) The last two skills I've not yet decided what it's going to be, but I was thinking about; - Toughness (Add abit more resistance against damage) - Sword Lore (After reading an interesting thread about the benefits of dual wield and sword lore I've considered using this to.) If I did not have a bargainer I would've taken the bargaining skill. When it comes to item socketing I'm filling the majority of armour slots with damage rings (30-30/46-46 etc) because it significantly boosts my damage. I've used the Scribers of atherton which I've filled with artamarks stars for abit more defence and I'm currently wielding officer sabers (merely the 3 gold sockets ^^). Buffs ; Battle stance buff - I'm keeping this the highest level I possibly can (my regeneration time isn't affected by it to badly...) Warding energy - I'm keeping this baby pumped up as so far it's worked wonders. Combat Arts ; Pelting strikes - I'm just keeping as high as I can whilst maininting a regeneration time of 1-3 seconds and basicaly use this as my main attack with soul hammer. Soul hammer - Against I'm keeping this at a low level so I can keep the regen. time as lowas possible) Assailing summersault - I only really use this buff to take shortcuts I.e jumping over obstacles and such. Archangels Wrath - I've modd'd this to make it my best friend when it comes to sniping off those pesky archers etc by putting on follow targets and because this is based off weapon damage it does a fairly high amount of damage. Dashing Alacrity - I keep this at a pretty high level to as it comes in handy if I ever need it (which is never tbh but it's nice to have it there) Alot of people could make use of the other combat arts available but I don't bother as much with them much. So far I've had no problem at all, I kill all mobs in one hit and have no problem defending myself against them. P.S if anyone spots any flaws in my build please feel free to let me know. I welcome critics and compliments.

If anyone knows of other levels that bonuses change at I would love to document it and put it somewhere on the wiki. I'd like to do the same for + All Skills and + All Combat Art's as well if anyone has info. This would make shopping a bit more convenient.
