  1. Hey mate, you can get a class specific mount by completing a short quest. All the information is right here http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Mounts most of this does cross over to X-box and PS3.
  2. I would like to see a Jack of all trades class, one that can use all of the skills but has limited Combat Arts and maybe lower stats.
  3. yes, If the person you're playing with has the CM-patch installed Thanks for the reply mate, I have installed it and am playing now.
  4. Multiple masteries for a skill? Yes please. A respec system? Sure, but put a limit on it, like unlimited until level 25 and then only 2 more after that. I think being able to undo skills before you leave the menu is a great system that all games should have, but why not be able to put in skills, and have a preview of your stat page that way you can see what direct changes it will have before leaving the menu and setting it in stone?
  5. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else to a chance to play this? I will recount my own experiences with Mythos. It was a cold Friday night down here in Australia, I was jumping from website to website trying to find a new game, as I did most Friday nights. I had decided to check my bookmarks to see if any games I was waiting on at the time had come out yet, and then I saw it..... MYTHOS RELEASE!! Cut to 5 hours later after the download (QQ download speeds), I opened up the install file with infinite anticipation and thought to myself ("Will this be my Sacred 2 replacement") and with all the glee of a kitty with a ball of yarn I watched the game install. Cut to 15 minutes later when the game was installed. I started the game with the wide eyed excitement, just as I had done with Sacred 2, year's before. I was going to devote my entire weekend to the game, until I started playing. The graphics were okay, nothing to special. The game-play was... slugish and un-responsive, a dungeon crawler without a point or purpose, no party match up system before you enter a dungeon.... which is silly for a game like this... why not have a lobby system like a cool kid? 75% of the game is spent in a dungeon. The crafting system was a mess. The skill system was.... 4 suck? I started as the magic class, as I normally do, I was running out of mana ever 10 seconds and my spells were weak, none of the spells seemed to compliment each other and it seemed 1 bad choice would break your build. I stuck with this game for all of 12 hours (Which I think is fair) before I realized this would never amount to what I think Diablo (1 and 2) started and Sacred 2 took to the next level.
  6. So you see a difference in drops just adding points into it?
  7. Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've played but I've decided to start back up again. I was just wondering of Enhanced Perception on X-box has the same effects as it does on PC, I remember hearing a while ago that it was broken.
  8. I don't really understand your question, but if you want to know if you can use this build for a fire elf the answer would be no. You are much better off finding yourself a nice fire build.
  9. Instead of making a new thread I will ask here. Does EP increase chance to find better items on X-box 360 or is it bugged to not?
  10. Hi Malwrath and welcome to the forum. I think you will find shoppers are mainly used for getting rare rings and things like that, I keep all the +to all skill and + to experience per kill rings I find. Keep in mind you can socket any level of ring into any level for armor and you will find any class of shopper will have a great benefit.
  11. I think if I get my hands on a disc I'm going to alt-f4 Windows 7. I've had nothing but problems since I go it, my CPU usage goes up to %50 just scrolling up and down this page.
  12. I think I will revert back to XP if I can ever get my hands in a disc, and some drivers, I don't think XP comes with all the drivers I need for sounds and things. I do have a genuine activation key.
  13. I'm not crashing, just rubber banding and getting a very low frame rate. Nothing I do seems to work, I really wanted to get back into PC Sacred 2.
  14. Thank you Loco, I have tried all ideas except dual booting, I think the problem is that my CPU is spiking for some reason, even opening a web page takes it to 50-100%. My Windows Experience Index score is 3.9, but none of my hardware has had any changes since I had XP.
  15. Wow, thanks for all of the support guys. @Wolfie2kX I have no idea where to find that one, lol. @Knuckles I would love to dual boot Windows XP, but I only have my activation key and no xp CD itself. @Podgie Bear I am downloading that now and will post again with my results. Thanks again guys.
  16. It is a single core, but even back when I had Window XP I could play on maximum graphics with Elite Textures on and I never had a problem. The system itself isn't that old, everything has been upgraded to new in the past 12 months, except the graphics card.
  17. Thanks for the link Dreeft. While that did increase the general performance of my PC my Sacred 2 is still almost unplayable. Back when I had Windows xp I could play on elite graphics and barley can any performance issues, now I can't even play on minimal graphics.
  18. Hi guys, I recently re-installed Sacred 2 Ice and Blood version 2.65.1 on my PC and have been have a massive amount of performance issues, the game is choppy to the point where is is almost unplayable. I have upgraded to Window 7 home edition recently and have even had problems playing flash games they are also choppy and laggy. Solutions I have tried are... defraging, updating drivers, running the game in the lowest possible graphics, and shutting down most background programs. My system specs... Windows 7 Home Edition 32 bit Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz 2gb ram Nvidea 8600 GT graphics card As many solutions as I can get would be great, also I'm not the best with PC's so please keep that in mind when posting your technical answers (lol). Thanks a lot in advance guys.
  19. Hi Zaraki The reason I don't like shields too much is because I think you can take either a 2h weapon or duel wield without sacrificing to much defense at all. With Toughness, Armor Lore and Warding Shield Lore (I think that's what it's called, the one that increase the bonus from Warding Shield Buff) you will have more than enough damage resistance to live a long and healthy life. 1. I think the main difference between swords and hafted weapons is just the modifiers on them, although I can't really tell you what they are. 2. There are a few things that have maximum values on them, but most don't. The maximum Attack Speed is 150%, the maximum Movement Speed is either 150% or 175%, as for armor, resists and things like that, I think the maximum might be in the billions (a number you can never hope to achieve without exploits, mods or hex editing. As for Speed Lore I can't say as I've never used it, but it should be fairly easy to get maximum Attack Speed without it. 3. The maximum values for attributes..... hmmm.... I'm not sure on that one, once again it could be in the billions and once again that is a number you will never achieve without mods, cheat or a hex editor. I hope this cleared a few things up for you, enjoy. One more thing, be sure to check out the Sacred 2 wiki, it has everything there, from set information to every skills and Combat Art (CA).
  20. Hi Zaraki and welcome to the Darkmatters forum. I will try and answer as many questions as I can. 1. The maximum survival bonus is 100%, but that is very hard to get to as it takes longer and longer to get. 2. For more survivability you should get Warding Energy Lore, that will give your energy shield a nice boost to defense and power, as for more damage you could get a weapon lire (IE Sword Lore) that will increase your attack speed as well as your chance to hit. 3. I personally have never found shields of great use on a Seraphim, I generally find that duel wielding works much better. 4. If you were to use a weapon and a shield, I would think you would get both Shield Lore and a Weapon Lore, as it would add defense, damage and chance to hit over the two skills. 5. With this one I tend to find it depends on the weapon, but in a general sense I think hafted weapons have more base damage than swords. 6. As far as I know, your defense will be the same, it depends on your armor not your weapons. 7. If you duel wield you should 100% get the Duel Wield skill, as for the weapon lore it's personal preference once again, a weapon lore will only unlock the locked skills you need a weapon lore for on a weapon, all the bonus attack and attack speed will be negated by the duel wield skill. 8. I tend to find the best rings are +base damage, +to all skills, -regeneration on hit and +% to damage rings, out of all those I tend to find + to all skills the most useful. A little hint about amulets and rings, if you have a level 200 ring (or any level of ring) you can socket into a level 1 piece of armor (or any level of armor) and still be able to use it on a level 1 character ( or any level character) Well, I've done my best to answer all of your questions. I hope you enjoy your time in Ancaria.
  21. I'm going to take up this challenge, I'm going to start a Duel Wielding Seraphim with bargaining and EP as her 2 starters. I will post here every few days to keep you guys posted with my progress.
  22. Thank you Wolfie2kX. It did help a lot. I always found doing quests good on PC as soon as I hit around 50% SB, Gogo. I would find a set piece around every 3-5 quests, are you having the same results?
