  1. Dulfy's Guild Bounty Mission guide It seems to be designed for 6+ people at least.
  2. Can I get an invite as well? <> Gonna guest a bit today
  3. I'll be coming for some guesting It'll be just like the old times.
  4. Wow, that sucks... Still, some NA servers do have a decent euro population (*cough* shameless plug *cough* SBI *cough*). Does that mean it's already too late for euro players to join us?
  5. I actually like the new Guardian greatswod skills arrangement. It's much more convenient and useful, at least when you get used to it
  6. A few things I've observed: Blue items never get used, not worth wasting guild bank space Green items are rarely taken out, only a few are worth putting in guild bank (it's far cheaper to just buy them) Yellow items are always worth depositing, someone will definitely grab them Crafting mats are just too numerous to be practical in the guild bank, especially cooking. Having a few specific ingredients in the bank is useful if you craft certain items on demand or for guild use (rare potion/food ingredients, or rare exotic ingredients)
  7. Alliances are generally a good thing, however that doesn't seem like a serious attempt at doing anything. The empty or non-public forum is a big no for me. You could start your own alliance though, if you are willing to put a lot of work into it. Here is how our alliance on Stormbluff Isle looks like.
  8. Been playing for a few days, it's tons of fun Basically, it's a game that has something for everyone. Anet has addressed many weaknesses that similar games usually have. GW2 PvE mechanics encourage cooperation between players, as opposed to cutthroat manners of other MMOs. You actually have fun when you meet random players. My only gripe is that it doesn't encourage partying with friends and guildies, it has more of a PUG mentality. It doesn't force you to grind gold, most stuff is cheap and easily obtainable. Leveling is pretty fast and enjoyable, with all the stuff that gives you experience (you can't even sneeze without getting some experience). Dynamic Events kinda replace the traditional quests, but not as much as the hype suggests. It's a giant step forward from killing 10 rats though. sPvP is awesome. You don't even have to level to participate. You become level 80 and get all the items, and the rewards are purely cosmetic (awesome-looking versions of the same items). It makes you want to PvP, again as opposed to some other games of the genre where you get penalized in many ways. I only did a bit of WvW, being low level myself. It also gives you level 80, but no items... You actually need to level to be effective. It requires a lot of organization as well, so far I've mostly seen zerging.
  9. D3 is a great game, well worth the money spent. Still, it's not a game that you can play for 10 years like D2 was. Shame on Jay Wilson
  10. Those are awesome What do you put into the party light trunk? I'm thinking hay would burn out too fast?
  11. I had some of these as well. Bnet probably detected some IP change or something.
  12. Reduced level requirement is probably the most broken stat right now You can get a level 60 item with -18 level req, so your level 42 characters dps with 500+ damage weapons... Don't worry about not seeing it listed, people that are aware of this affix will usually search for it specifically. 1-3 millions sounds like a good price, otherwise it's better to just keep it
  13. Reziarfg has updated the official game guide with new info. Must read
  14. We don't call them Combat Arts in D3 We don't have such details yet. In D2 we could open the game files and get that information, but now it's not goint to be that easy... There are two databases that I'm aware of: D3 Database D3 wiki
  15. Wow congrats I'm still struggling in Hell act 3...
  16. Looks like Reflects Damage is missing from the list. It's something that doesn't do noticeable damage to you normally. However, I hear there's a nasty case of it spawning on those exploding nutjobs, which can kill your toon if they detonate on your follower: Warning for HC Players: Demented Fallen with Reflect Damage will ruin your day.
  17. I discovered that there are so many fun skills in D3 that I want to play with all of them at once. I'm constantly switching just to experience them all, and I'm glad I can do it.
  18. Listing e-mails on a public forum is a great way to alert spambots
  19. Blizzard is currently offering one free change of our battletags, so it's quite possible that someone changed it
  20. I don't use my helmet. I feel that the inconvenience it brins is outweighing the protection it offers. I'd even say it makes it less comfortable to turn my head, which I constantly do to keep an eye on the surroundings. The chances of it actually saving you are exaggerated in my opinion. I'm slipping many times a day on perma-wet floors at work, should I wear ahelmet there as well? (no, I actually need new shoes for that but anyway) That is a personal choice though, which everyone should be making for himself after educating himself on dangers of traffic and such (though kids should wear them if their parents tell them to )
  21. People report that you don't die if the timer runs out, you just miss out on some treasure at the end of it. It's called Crumbling Cavern
  22. I don't think the reported hackings are related to battletags or session hijacking. More like phishing, keylogging and other means. Don't visit questionable sites, don't share too much information, and you should be safe. No need to be paranoid
