  1. What platform are you playing on? I'm using the 360 version so you'd press the Right shoulder button once you have highlighted the MS focus, on the skill page. By pressing the RB button it brings up an info page on that particular skill and that's where you'll get that information from. If you're playing on the PS3 or PC, then I'm sure someone will come along and tell you what's required. I'm also fairly positive this information can be found in the instruction manual. however, if you're like me, you won't have bothered reading it. I actually found out right after I posted this. Lol. Also I noticed that I can kill the kobold leader on bronze but not silver with this build (level 10). Should I stick to bronze or just keep killing the kobolds in silver? I also can't find the quest to do the lost artifacts.. lol.
  2. I'm still new to the game but how can you find your penalty level for Crystal Skin?
  3. Alright, I found The Boar and killed him quite easily.. was able to get level 20 quite fast. I found this set chest piece that's worth a lot.. and it is GREAT for my seraphim because it adds +2 to all skills.. the only problem is that it's the only thing highlighted in red.. Why is this? Nothing else on teh armor is highlighted in red..
  4. If you're playing the Light campaign, you get through that gate via a tunnel to the side (the quest will show you where). You farm bosses in a Free Mode game, not a Campaign Mode game. Alright, free mode. Will level 14 be enough to kill said boss?
  5. Is it pretty much Campaign just without quests? Will it allow me to access areas I normally cannot? (I tried to get to the Boar boss but I could not get the gate open). Thanks for any and all comments. - Mz
  6. I decided to try out this guide and I'm LOVING it so far! My only question.. I'm level 14, able to pretty much one shot anything that gives me 300-600 experience. In your guide you state to farm one of the bosses.. How exactly is this done (I tried to get to the Boar but I could not open the gate near the top of the first area to enter the second area) and will I be able to at my level? Edit: Also I listened to your advice and bought a mount that has +16% evasion.. What is the purpose of mounts if you cannot fight on them? Just for traveling purpose? Having one does not take away from my main character, correct?
  7. Thank you so much for your assistance, Essjayehm.
  8. After reviewing this build I have a few questions (from an inexperienced player) regarding it.. 1. Does this "glitch" still work on the Playstation 3? 2. I noticed two different builds in the thread, one on page 7 and the one on the first page. Which of these should I use as a base? 3. Speaking of base, starting off (say at level 5), is there much you can do with VD or does it take getting to a certain level to be able to use the spell to it's potential? 4. Nature Lore: On the guide it says to drop points in there until you can fully upgrade Ancient Bark, how many points does that take? 5. Voodoo Lore: Am I leaving this at base-9 for my entire playthrough? 6. I notice that in the build, some skills which are ranked higher in priority fall lower on the list. Is there any reason I should wait to get them if they are high priority? 7. How many times should I eat an Ancient Bark rune? Do I just eat as many as possible? 8. Speaking of eating runes, this is one thing I do not understand. Do skills benefit by lower levels? 9. This is one of the builds that adds no insight as to what level you should get each skill.. I see there are about 7 skills that are needed.. Could someone fill me in as to where these need to be? ... That's all I have for now. Edit: @essj, Thank you for your response! I think I'm going to try this build and just see what happens. Lol.
  9. Wow, an awesome compliment! Thanks Scott (lol, now yer a part of the action too ^^) gogo p.s. regarding a great bargaining build I think there is a voodoo bargainer making the rounds somewhere... and I believe it was made for console ? And welcome to DarkMatters medievalzeus I'll have to look a little more into the VD build. Just the way the author typed it out confused me.
  10. When I first got here, I was as overwhelmed as you. Even though I already had a few months of playing and figuring on my own, finding this place was like starting all over again. So there are a few "best" places for levelling in Ancaria, so the bargainer you want will have to have some thought put into the build. You don't "really" want to be playing this toon, only when they need levels for the next round of shopping/upgrades. High Elf - ice focused. Should be the one you want. She's not too bad in the "Orc Cave" or in the SE Swamp. Bargaining is a primary General Skill, so you don't have to take EP or whatever else first. Powerful. Versatile. Would be my 1st pick, personally. Temple Guardian - Deathly Spears builds. So simple. Some attention to detail with your shields for the higher difficulties (Plat/Niob). Orc Cave will be your primary/ideal levelling spot. Powerful, but not as well-rounded as the Elf for levelling in different areas. Voodoo Dryad - using the Viperish Disease exploit (on console versions only) for easy/fast levelling anywhere. Except the Orc Cave. Not a bad option, either. It is not as fast for levelling because the fire rate on the Howitzer is not so hot. Thank you for your fast reply. I guess I should of added that I also wanted a class that I could play well with a friend who bought the game as well. I thought about doing the Voodoo Dryad but when I was reading the build it confused me so much that I gave up hopes of playing it. (Also, doesn't the character have to be "Evil" instead of "Good"?) I was leaning towards this.. Thoughts on that versus the Voodoo Dryad?
  11. I just picked up Sacred 2 Yesterday due to a sale at GameStop.. and I've had a bunch of fun but I've been unable to level a character past 9 because they are all so fun to me. After reading on the boards I keep hearing about a Bargaining character - one who's purpose is there to level up fast and provide your other characters with equipment. I'm wondering which build you all would recommend. I'm looking for something that will level up fast and isn't difficult to understand. (Simple yet efficient.) As a new player I'm finding following certain guides to be a stressful thing. Most of it does not make sense. Any suggestions?
  12. Welcome to the boards, Medievalzeus! Wow... KarruptedKat- your build looks like it quite popular! Another customer Medievalzeus - KKat is a PS3 player, so this guide is mostly for the console "version". It is great if you are playing on PS3 or XBOX. If you are on PC, and playing an updated version (Ice and Blood, Gold edition, etc) then there are a few things that will not work on your version. I see. I saw an earlier post that stated that the "VD bug" was fixed on the PS3. Which is why I felt the need to ask.. because I believe this build is centered around VD?
