  1. Thank you, that makes it MUCH easier for me to decide I've put other builds off to the side to make a shopper for now and make things easier down the road. The only question I have is, why six relics of each? It seems that I can only equip three at a time, and cannot make the other three active when equipped in the other orb slots. In essence, I can have 12 relics (6 bargaining, 6 EP) and only three will be active in enhancing either EP or bargaining. Am I missing something? (PS - I'm new to the computer version of it; using the Ice and Blood expansion.)
  2. :xmastree: It's like Christmas in freakin' Minnesota! :xmastree: I've FINALLY gotten Ice and Blood to work on the PC with no hiccups or corrupted files. I haven't played much of it yet, but I'll say one thing, it looks and plays gorgeously on my laptop. Just need to figure out how to find you guys online now. I already registered for online use, and managed to find gogoblender. (If you happen to have a buddy thingy from a 'hoobuhjoo' or 'grandcrosssteve', then that's me! Cloudnine7, to save you a headache, when you finally DO download it, run a disk cleanup and defrag your hard drive, THEN use the download manager they give you from DLgames. That seemed to make things go a lot easier, and everything installed with zero problems.
  3. On PC when you use the ca they are focused such that the further away you target it the more focused they area, great for boss killing if you target behind the boss and also good for mobs if you target close to yourself to get a massive spread Thanks for the reply! I wonder if that's the same thing on the console and I just wasn't doing it the right way. I'll play that while I wait for the manual download of my Gold Edition files to complete!
  4. Had a problem installing. It said that 'pak/sector01.zip' was a corrupted file. How much of a problem is this going to cause?! I have a brand new computer, and it definitely shouldn't be doing this. Bad news on that front... I'll try re-downloading I guess?
  5. Of COURSE I'm excited! I've become a huge Sacred 2 geek lately, and with college in full swing, I need a good distraction! My girlfriend was shaking her head last night. She just doesn't understand! =) She will be converted...
  6. Silly question... but how in the heck do you guys get your thorns to go on such a straight and narrow path to cause that much damage?! I'm jealous! I can't seem to get that down... I can't do that on the PS3, but I'm currently downloading the Sacred 2 Gold edition. Can I straighten out the thorns there:) Thanks in advance! =) Got my character all mapped out and ready to build once it's done installing.
  7. Yes, it doesn't matter where your computer is in the world. If you buy and install the gold edition of the game you will be able to play the expansion. If you already have a copy of the US version of S2FA then I would recommend uninstalling that first. Unbelievable. Followed the 'gold edition' link at the top of the page and bought it that way, so hopefully DarkMatters gets some money from this lurker! =) Looking forward to it. I've only been a PS3 player, and been trying to get my mitts on this expansion forever. Can't wait to nerd out!
  8. So I'm from the US. Even if I have a US computer, will I still be able to download and play the Sacred 2 gold edition to my computer in order to play the expansion?
  9. My HE is now level 18, and she does pretty well for herself now. I can see why RN can be a good crowd controller, but it's a little weak on enemies that aren't kobolds right now. So far I have my Glacial Thorns and Crystal Skin fully modded, so I think I'll try and work on nimbus next. Stamina shows that my arts regen is at 270.x% right now, and GT is ready to go after about 2.2 seconds, RN after 3.5. That's pretty dang good, right:)
  10. I'm a constant lurker, but I don't know if I've posted my PSN ID... For those interested, it's 'Ukrain'! I've just started playing again, and it's been a blast!
  11. I'm on level 10 in silver, but I'm getting ravaged by mobs on the PS3... I've tried utilizing fire skills to use while the ice skills cool down, but I end up running around way too much for my killing to be efficient. What would be a good skill set up for CA usage to ensure I don't get walloped? Haven't died yet, but I'm definitely pounding down potions like there's no tomorrow...
  12. I wrote down the amount and came back when I had enough money, BUT the vendor had raised the price so I walked away empty handed a second time. lol, nooooooooo! I remember being shocked, after all that struggle... to be spurned for the cost of gold... heresy! gogo Good freakin' LORD you guys are quick to respond! LOL I remember being on these boards when I first started tinkering with a Voodoo dryad, but I didn't think it'd be this quick to get a response. LOVE it. The only thing I was really concerned about was getting the mount in physical inventory. When I try to buy other replacement horses, I can't purchase them. Is that going to be the case when it comes to getting the special mount? That'd be horrible if it were. Thanks for the input! I'll be working on this quest line ASAP. =) Assuming console doesn't work differently to PC in this instance, you should be able to buy one normal mount and one special mount provided you have the money and don't already own one. If you do already own one you have the option of selling it and then you can buy another. Perhaps you haven't had enough money to buy them? I have 11,300,000 in gold, so I don't think gold is a problem. I was using the barganing dual wield seraphim for my first run, but obviously I've failed to grasp how to properly bargain. =\ I'm stuck with whatever I pick up, really... BUT! Gold is definitely not a problem, I don't think. =)

  14. So I was reading around, and I'm not sure if this applies to the console versions or not... When I finished my class missions in silver (Seraphim, The Beginning of the End), I thought I read somewhere that you were supposed to be able to purchase a class specific mount. I can't seem to find it sold anywhere, or am I doing the wrong quest lines? Also, I already have a horse that, no matter what, doesn't want to go away, preventing me from using another mount. Is this fixable, or did I mess myself up? I'm on the PS3 edition... Thanks for the help in advance!
  15. Nevermind, just beat it. For some weird reason the very last nameless didn't even have health coming off when it approached me to fight. It had to have been a glitch because he was nowhere NEAR as tough as before. He was still taking off some major HP, but nothing potions couldn't handle! Finally on my first gold run!
  16. I just picked this game up since I never finished it, and I'm loving it... until NOW! =) So I've gotten through the first three ok. The last one is just annihilating me to no end. I've tried luring it into the hallway, but this guy is literally taking off half of my HP in one hit. Makes for an expensive run. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to take this guy out?! I'm stumped...
  17. Oi! After having the YLoD on my classic 60 GB PS3, I'm FINALLY back up... AND I have voice chat capabilities! Anyways, gonna try this build out again... I was enjoying it majorly when I was participating. Hope to see y'all soon! Missed hearing from you guys! PSN: Ukrain
  18. Go W/ the Shield 1000% on that..... Flexes are nice but she has a nature evasion boost. Spell resistance is natural for her aswell when you pop Golden glade touch check out your attributes your will power sky rockets.Plus w/ the right shield I.E Stalworth or glacial shield her defensive bonus is insane. So 1000% go shield. I posted up Version 2.0 on the 2nd post of the main for the newer players but still prefer this one^^. Thanks Karrupt! I might be level 46 but I think I'd like to give this version 2 build a shot.
  19. I don't play online because I don't have a headset. I understand that MOST people get EXTREMELY frustrated with folks that don't have them, so until I get a piece, I'm offline. =) Mighty kind gesture though! Well you could make an account hop online and get this free stuff. I also make alot of games private online seems to make better drops I gotcha. I have a PSN ID: Ukrain. I'm not gonna be able to hop on today though, the girlfriend is dragging me out to dinner and a movie tonight. =) In case I can't run into you later, maybe some boss run suggestions would be beneficial so I'm not relying on the kindness of others to get my character to Niob? I know Griffin is good, I've also heard Mr. Gar is a good one to do... most of my kill comes from globbing VD infected mobs together and taking them down as far as possible before I have to use Acute Mind and the 'Boss Combo' mentioned in the initial write up (has tangled vines and edaphic lances, as well as a debuff before all that...) and popping a ton of potions. Seeing as how this is my first REAL character in Sacred 2, I'm still getting the hang of how this one can operate. Thanks again, Sir Zeus! You're a gentleman and a scholar. =D

  21. Someone said they were broke and running out of ruins. As My main man Zeus said make sure you double back. Thanks for remembering me:) Lol. Also about runes people forget. If you have alot of money you should trade it straight up 1 for 1 $125k but I would not do anything less than 2 for 1 $25k. Also for those say the scorp's hit hard. Yes, the red ones do and that is because when you have AB running your fire resistance is lowered and thats what the red scorps hit you with Fire. I still say the Desert by far is the best for experience., if I were start a new VD Dryad once voodoo is modded I would run kolbolds until I have AB fully modded. Then make a free world game (bronze) enter the desert through the wp's under the ground there and get my insect head. Then head north until I find the Portal that is North and a little west of Khorum (sp?). Now it is on start my desert runs. I do not mess with the red scorps until I have golden glade touch up and running. Another big thing is eat as many AB runes as possible the sky is the limit. Dont forget to mod MA because when you stop to gather your experience. throw out your pet and let him do the killing for you. I havent been on PS3 until last night, been play the xbox version of this game since I picked one up cheap. But I am back on PS3 send me a message if anyone has any questions. Aaaah, so AB is ok to mod as high as possible. I figured I was missing out on something! These are good tips, thanks a ton! Well lets make this clear hopefully you chose rugged for your first mod in AB. But yes the sky is the limit with only one drawl back and that is your very weak to fire. Now to off set this you have a few choices. Make sure you have 3 fire relics equipted at all times. Also I cant remember the set name but three pieces of this armor also gives resistance to fire which is a must. 2nd MA if modded right you should always keep the pets level 2x higher than yours. To see the pets level open the combat art to where you can read it, you will see the pets level. Trust me if this is your very first character, you will need to spend some time shopping for rings/ammulets along with doing alot of boss runs to gather different set gear to help you. But all in all once your characters gets stronger, just keep reading those AB and MA runes you will have no problem doing the main quest, guardian runs, orc caves or what ever you want with little problems. I'll be honest, GEAR IS MY WORST ENEMY RIGHT NOW! =) When I bought the game I loved it enough to grind through, and then other stuff came out. Now that my attention is fully on this, I'm level 47 and my gear seriously lacks, MA is only modded one level I think, and I still lack the full mods of Vines and Lances... so my learning curve for properly distributing the points is severely behind... I know people say 'silver' white griffin is good for beginners and getting chestplate of time, but other than this I'm lost. XD I can level like a madman thanks to the other suggestions, but gear has and always will seem to be my worst enemy. =\

  23. Hey there! Maybe I can help... I've been doing a lot of trial and error on VD level runs myself, and if you're feeling brave, it was suggested to be that you go straight to the desert about now, get an insect head, and run that. As long as you can survive the scorpions, you'll be rolling in the experience in no time! If that's proving too tough, try doing the area south of Kuff castle (abbreviated). You'll need a shrunken animal head to make it spread the best. As far as skills, personally I'd max your nature lore / focus (whatever does the damage) and mod your vines / lances / goldenglade accordingly. I made the mistake of not doing this and I'm not fully modded on these at level 46. So do what you need to do in order to get those modded so you can do some boss battles for the campaign runs. Runes are another story. I'd only eat as many runes as you can personally find tolerable for regen times. It's a little bit of trial and error. That's all you can really do. =) It sounds a little overwhelming if you don't know where to start, but once the levels get higher, you know where to focus. I hope this helps!
  24. That's actually something I'd be interested in seeing myself. I can't make too much money / runes / loot running away from everything either. Thanks for bringing that up, Maine! Now I don't feel so bad!
  25. The desert, even starting at level 39 on silver, has worked like a charm! =) Got an insect head right off the bat, went to the central desert town, and ran a border circle, heading straight south and circling the border of the western part. Ended up leveling three times so far and it was quick! Now I'm focusing on getting the Nature Lore up to mod lances and vines to max, then work on Goldenglade. Once THAT'S done, I need better armor, I get mauled by even those stupid scorpions (at least 200+ / hit). Wonderful suggestions! Now I can see this going places and it's even more fun than before. =)
