  1. Hmm, I apparently saw a handful of lv 16s and 1 lv 18 enemy in High Elf region (Bronze). Underground and in out of the way places...where you'd think lower level enemies would be. Though my survival bonus was about 50% then.
  2. Last I checked there was no edit button on those pages like there is on all others.
  3. I added it on the main boss's page. I can't edit the boss's particular page. Apparently there is no link to reach the boss page from the main page, or on the left side bar. I had to use the search function.
  4. From the skill description, I would say only spells. "Increases damage for non-weapon based Combat Arts and reduces the opponent's spell resistance. " You'll see that 1-74 only increases damage. And that unlike Diablo 2, enemies do not have immunities (well, as far as I know).
  5. All types of containers containing items, including fountains (Light Health Potion), get refilled after a time. It may be a save/exit thing, but I think it's also tied to time. This would also work for boss chests.
  6. Just use the Windows button It's pretty bug-free for me. Or play windowed with mouse freedom, you won't need to alt-tab. Would be annoying to alt-tab, and from a town I was idling at, get to a boss who kills me while I idle...especially in hardcore.
  7. This is not an exploit, this works as intended. All chests/fountains etc get "refilled" after a certain time out of game.
  8. It seems there can be issues when trying to replace an item (by putting it over an already equipped item). Sometimes you do it and you're back with the original item, sometimes it drops to your feet, possible that it can vanish, but its not happened to me before. Be sure to unequip the original equipment, and THEN, equip the new one, this way you're pretty sure nothing messes up. As for avoiding teleports like that, with the windows button I never got an issue. (This is how I go on other programs during play).
  9. Does that work to "save" a hardcore character?
  10. It's like monkeys in vending machines and at street lights in the Flintstones
  11. I know, but I mean, the very second I see it I'm like "Oh damn" and I move. Especially lethal when in cramped place, and it makes melee-killing harder (since you have to move all the time, you're not necessarily attacking the right targets). Thankfully, the max amount of monsters attacking a player at once is 5, so you can't be blocked from moving at all. Level 41 in Gold is pretty low. If this is a hardcore character I suggest being VERY cautious as you'll be severely underleveled soon enough. Wether this is Standard or Hardcore, I still suggest leveling, because Platinum starts at *minimum* 70. Even those Kobolds could give you trouble with 20-30 levels above you.
  12. Annoying enemies I met so far: Ogre Warrior (ice circle slows down FPS and attack speed consequently). Octagolamus (attack that pushes you away, twice in a row...). Carnach (teleports like a mofo). Swirling Mist of Miasma (slows down FPS a LOT, harder to avoid his tornado-like attack, which is potentially lethal - in Gold it would one shot me, a graphical glitch prevented me to see it and I just saw my toon die one hit). Champion Undeads who often have 3 lives, AND those Undeads who have 3 lives even if you drink a Potion of Undead Death (one wonders what is the default % to banish undead, if +100% can still have them have 3 lives). Olms with Weaken (or that grey cloud thingy anyways) who slow down all subsequent attacks. Looks like -66% attack speed. Ghost Warriors in Jungle who become "ghostly" and can't be hit. Fenfire (most annoying enemy evar, they have low accuracy *physically* but their attacks NEVER miss, and it HURTS) - much like Diablo 2's Act 4 electric thingies, in Hell they can one-shot you if you don't have 50% Lightning-resist or more. Temple Guardian in Wasteland, especially Champions, with the 'fire bomb/trap' thingy that does significant damage, you need to move ASAP when you see it. A few other enemies use it (some golems in Seraphim/Dragon, and some Champion Brigands in High Elf), but they're not usually in such huge groups as the enemy TGs. Nameless Guardian with it's shield and high-damage hits. Though a trick: lure it/them out of the door (and yes, its bigger than the door, but he can go through, believe me). Passed the door, the Heart of the Machine won't help it anymore.
  13. No it'll be fine. Then they may have taken notice of my bug about it... I first had taken the quest at lv 5, with a High Elf Pyromancer. Went in, promtly died. Went back at lv 8, same thing again. I now have a Seraphim lv 12, with decent (not uber) equipment, with Battle Stance and Warding Energy both active...I think I'll be okay. It might be that 'bomb' spell they use that significantly hurts. I know when Temple Guardians in Wastelands use it, not far from the last boss, I have to MOVE lol.
  14. I'd like to know on Bronze, and maybe Silver if you have time. By the time I'm in Gold, the level difference shouldn't really matter, or ALL enemies would pwn me anyways.
  15. It seems maybe my graphical glitch issues are caused by my rather small GPU Ram and running stuff at Medium, with PhysX enabled (it was, by default). I disabled PhysX (now CPU will do it, and my Q6600 Quad @ 2.4 is better than my graphics card) and I'll see how it is today.
  16. I haven't checked any further in the Dryad quest line, but the High elf Quest line is difinately different for light and shadow campaign, shadow campaign is way more sadistic/murderous then the other one... Same for Dryad, essentially meeting the same NPC in Light and Shadow will result in a "Oh, love how wonderful" or a "Yuck, love, High Elves believe in such nonsense" attitude. And the following actions are either to reunite lovers...or kill their whole families by causing infighting. Yet the quest title for both is "Life in the City".
  17. It's acquired during the "Captain Bloodtongue" chainquest. He first tells you to go find his underling, and then once you find him and go back, to kill Captain Bloodmouth (Bloodmouth Must Die). Once you attain a beach on the other side of the cavern, look for a conspicuous rock near a campfire. You'll find a key. Then go to the other cave you haven't been to yet, the one where it says Captain Bloodmouth is. Kill him and see that the Pirate Treasure quest leads you in a previously locked room (to a teleporter, one-way). Go there. Once in there, follow the quest compass to a small room with a door. Enter it...the enemies there would be the problem if any. Edit: This is in High Elf region, on the south-west side, near the beach.
  18. I'm asking because I've died while testing it, the enemies in the final treasure room seemed to almost one-shot me, potions weren't enough. I don't know what level the enemies there are, but I don't want to risk my hardcore game going there and dying...so what level are the enemies?
  19. Well, this CA seems buggy from the start. Though I can't say why. At first it hit too many, then too few, then too many again...I don't know what they did to it in the end.
  20. For Gar'Colossus: stay ranged until he throws big blue rocks at you. "Kill" the rock (won't work if the rock hits you, it would break ON you). Then attack Gar'Colossus and see your next 10-15 hits do extreme damage on his shield bar. When his shield bar is gone, you can finish him off normal for his HP.
  21. Actually, if she is still Beta Testing, I'm sure she is bound by an NDA that would preclude her giving away anything useful. Many NDA's lock out and discussion even after no longer actively testing. I know this from helping to test other games myself. I'm not testing it anymore, but its true I can't give "insider info", like what bugs are in the database and such.
  22. I know, but this is how the devs refer to it. It might be called Green Islands, and High Elf might be called Tyr Lysia, I go by the dev-reference names.
  23. Actually much of it has been found by users since release. There's a few bugs I know about that are still pending fix, but well they're mostly detrimental, not back doors or anything. Like the multiplayer ClosedNet Main quest not starting...

  25. I think I forgot to introduce myself when I joined, so I will now. I go by Little Sara, my real name is Sara, and I'm 26 years old. I'm a gamer of the hardcore kind, mostly fan of RPGs, especially the works of Square-Enix. I gather incredible amounts of information in a short time, and usually become an encyclopedia about most any game I play, which I then further refine by consulting fansites, guides, FAQs and what not to have complete mastery over the game. I still like to "feel my way" through a game, which is usually what I do at first. I'm a videogame tester and have been for a couple months so far. And Sacred 2 PC version is a title I have worked on, though don't try to find me in the credits, only those who were on the project in June 2008 (or earlier) are listed. I haven't played Sacred 1 before, nor did I even hear about it until I tested the 2. Though I'm a fan of the Diablo 2 genre, and the min-maxing coupled with the extreme versatility in characters and the "huge task to complete" brought more interest than Diablo 2 did, and to hell the bugs. Heck I know it's buggy, but I don't really care (long as they fix stuff still), I'd rather keep on Sacred 2 than "play it until Diablo 3 comes around". And no, I'm not sick of the game from testing it at work for a while, if anything I'm more interested in it. About the name "Little", this is to signify a big part of me, the core of my personality, is a child. She's 8 years old, emotionally and otherwise. Extremely feminine, cute without trying (and loves cute) and has rather childish qualities (naiveté, innocence, purity) which she cherishes knowing they are rare in this world. And me? Well, I'm her "guardian" sort of, she named me "Maid Sara", because my role is to assure her survival and happiness, and her protection if needed (more mental than otherwise, since neither of us knows how or wants to fight). Her emotional state is that of a child, but she has the intellect of an adult (equal to mine). Neither mine or her social skills are up to par due to continued repression (which made the persona split occur in the first place). She looks for true love and someone to understand her (who and what she is), and heal her wounds. Much to ask, but I see nothing else that could make her happy. I'm the hardcore gamer, while she's mostly playful. We still often work in tandem to find bugs (though she finds reporting tedious and lets that to me). Both of us play for a similar reason at the root: for our mind to be too busy to care, to numb it against the ever-increasing darkness. Hope is dwindling, but we both hope (her more than me) that this will one day be a bad memory. Even if it one day became a bad memory, I still would play games, but I probably would have different reasons.
