  1. WOOHOO!! Now I can play Sacred 2 on PC. The interface is entirely different from the PS3 version.
  2. Oh yeah...3D Analyze didn't help either. So I'll be installing a video card that was given to me by a friend, an ASUS EAH 5450. He said it's low profile and should work, so fingers crossed I can get it to connect.
  3. Thanks for the help fellas. After much searching around the web, I've found this free desktop is going to require me to spend money on it just to even get some basic game playing on it. I have to find a low profile card which supports a 250W PSU. I updated all the drivers but the same errors popped up, so maybe a new video card can get Sacred 2 up and running even at the most basic configurations.
  4. Yeah unfortunately there's no way around the integrated graphics as it is a Dell Inspiron 545s that was given to me by my gf's parents- so pretty much basic everything. As long as it plays, I'll be happy. Anyway I can get it to work?
  5. So I finally managed to get my hands on the PC version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel without the expansion and after installing it, I keep getting an error message and the game doesn't load. Could anybody decipher what the following error codes mean? driver: [igxprd32.dll] graphicscard: [intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family] device: [\\.\DISPLAY1] cDX9Base::_initDX() CreateDevice failed! cDX9Advance::_initAdvance() initDX failed! SacredApp::setup() setupWindow failed! App::Setup() failed!
  6. Yeah...that's what I did. I figured I played quite a few Facebook games and that I like to keep my real life private, so I have a separate account for playing those games. Plus I didn't want to send my mates endless requests to increase my clan numbers on certain games. Lets face it...those games are pretty addictive.
  7. Well I just clicked "Like" on both of them on my Facebook gaming account. I use this account mainly to play Castle Age, Haven and Viking Clan on Facebook.
  8. Well I use two main translators for "talking" to my non-English speaking friends. I highly recommend using Ace Translator or Promt Expert. Ace Translator - http://www.acetools.biz/ Promt Expert - http://www.promt.com/ Ace translator is a really good one because it can translate so many different languages. Plus the interface is really easy to use because you just type in what you want to write or say and it comes out instantly. I've also done this with a lot of friends from Europe and they say the translation is almost perfect.
  9. Well I'm moving to another state literally tomorrow and I'm leaving my PS3 and a plethora of goodies behind for my brother to play with. Now my questions are: 1. If I copy my game saves from my PS3, will my new PS3 recognise the gamesaves as an original or will it recognise them as a duplicate? I'm asking this because I really don't want to start Sacred 2 allover again because it was such a pain to accumulate items, gold etc. 2. Can I sign-in with my original account on the new PS3?
  10. I must admit there's one food I really couldn't stomach - OX/COW TONGUE! Something about eating an animals tongue that makes me want to puke my guts up. Just the thought is making me dryreach at this moment.
  11. My tastes in music are quite eclectic but my five favourite bands would be: 1. The Jimi Hendrix Experience 2. Santana 3. Rage Against The Machine 4. Jeff Mills (a techno DJ) 5. Creedence Clearwater
  12. Spring has sprung here in South Australia. The day is warmish, the sun is slightly out and the bloody magpies are swooping already
  13. People only eat Cuy for special occasions but I was only in Peru for a little while and I had to try it. I think it would be classed as animal cruelty if they did that here in Australia though.
  14. interestingly enough, my son and I can trade when I start the game and he joins...if he starts the game and I join we cannot trade. I havent tried making another account to try it yet... I did forget to mention I did copy my original save onto the new profile hence the non-trading thing happening. I guess it prevents people from duplicating items on consoles. Mainerunr: just wondering could you trade chars or just items with your son?
  15. Yeah too true. I know in heaps of Asian countries especially in China, they use up pretty much every part of an animal because food is scarce especially people from the poorer regions. My other half is Hungarian and she said that they use pretty much every part of pigs to make rich filling dishes.
