  1. -As was already mentioned, Grim Dawn certainly seems to be a game worth picking up, but unfortunately it isn't due for release until the latter half of 2013, if not later. -IMO, Borderlands 2 looks like it'll be loads of fun, even if it isn't exactly a traditional isometric ARPG. -Of course, there is Diablo 3, but after having put a fair amount of time into the game, all I wanted to do was to re-install Diablo 2: LoD. Still, I'll keep playing until I reach Inferno, as that difficulty is supposed to be ridiculously hard. -Torchlight 2, also mentioned above, seems to have plenty of promise. I managed to play the beta for a few hours (got a beta key on the final day of testing, which left me about 4 hours to install and play), and I enjoyed the game, but from what I've read, there are balance issues when it comes to the playable classes; hopefully that gets ironed out somewhat over the first handful of patches. -Finally, as others have advocated, Sacred 2 itself is certainly well worth revisiting. I recently started playing the game again, thanks to its broad variety of viable and strange builds, something that I really missed in a game like Diablo 3.
  2. First of all, thanks for the welcome locolagarto and gogoblender! I do indeed plan on playing online in the near future, most likely with a bargaining character or two in an attempt to set up a tiered "Shopping Network" as has been recommended on the Wiki. Secondly, in response to pchefkent, could you tell me how you did your installation step-by-step? In my case, after the download finished, I ran the installation as follows: -Ran the Sacred2_FallenAngel_edsr_e.exe file to install the base game. -Proceeded to run the UK-INT 2.40 patch. This is pretty hefty download, and will also take quite some time to install. -Additionally, I installed the UK 2.40 to 2.43 patch. -With the base game patched fully, I then proceeded to run the Sacred2-IceAndBlood_edsr_e.exe to install the expansion, which brings the game version up to 2.64.0.0. -Ran the UK 2.64 to 2.65.1.0 patch. -There's also a UK 2.65.1.0 to 2.65.2.0 patch that's available. In my case, I had no issues with the game after following these steps. Should it not be an installation issue, then I'm afraid that I'll have to defer to some of the more experienced members of these boards. I myself am very new to this game, and as such I'm unable to offer any technical advice beyond the installation process. Hopefully, you'll have your problems solved expediently
  3. First-time poster here, just wanting to say thanks for giving a canadian the opportunity to download Ice & Blood Having only recently started playing this game (via the Steam version ), I'm still getting used to the gameplay mechanics, but I do believe that I'll be enjoying this game for quite some time, and perhaps I might even try venturing online someday.
