  1. Whew, it's back online! Poor little me was getting quite distraught without all the good advice and insightful guides to be honest
  2. Just to elaborate, I'm not talking about characters brought along into the party, I'm referring to the other characters you have in your multiplayer slots.
  3. Today I noticed something very odd...or perhaps perfectly normal When my seraphim receives set items as a quest reward these tend to be...for a seraphim. However, every now and then she'll receive either 2 set items in 1 go or an item for another character class, and this is when it struck me. Up till now all of the set items I have received from quests were for characters I actually have in my roster. Up till now that was 2 seraphim's and a temple guardian I plan to train up to be smith and the set items were only for these 2 classes. Last weekend I created a dryad mule and now all of a sudden I'm getting dryad items as well. Is this a known phenomenon? Update: just got 2 items from 1 quest(yay!), 1 for the high elf and 1 for the inquisitor...neither of which I have in my roster So either my theory is bonkers or it is time for an altogether different theory positing the existence of a gaming devil whose sole purpose is to mess with my mind...
  4. Ahhhhh, wood, so much more stylish than alumin(I)um...although possible less convenient when it comes to LAN parties. The final pic in that slideshow is truly awesome, although the laptop in slide 3 looks pretty spiffy as well.
  5. Lost my first toon to the big scorpion thingamabob today. She said on the way there that she hated scorpions and now we know why Was taking it down without a hitch up til 40% hp and out of nowhere got 2 hit ko'd in a split second with my trader / bfg seraphim....guess I should have kept levelling to 50 first so I could dump 29 points in constitution...
  6. Looks pretty spiffy. DS1 and 2 focused quite heavily on the party, but judging from the video this one might be going more for a single player experience.
  7. I consider myself quite the Sacred fan and I quite like collectors' editions, but Sacred's track record so far when it comes to bugginess etc. isn't exactly stellar, so I'm not going to decide anything until I know both just how stable the game is and what kind of DRM it'll carry. As much as I'm having fun with the Sacred 2 Gold pack...the way Deep Silver distributed it left a whole lot to be desired.
  8. Thanks for looking into it dreeft, despite the initial hiccups there might still be room to get it working. I know that on my eve online clients I have something similar and they're entirely mouse driven as well. Will report back in if I have some news of my own
  9. Hmm, gross stuff, lessee.... Black pudding was actually pretty tasty. Same for the haggis (had huge servings of both). The usual snails and frogs' legs, but quite frankly those are pretty mainstream (and yes, frogs' legs taste like chicken ) One thing I tried once when I lived in France was Andouillette, but the smell of feces was too overpowering for me to take more than a few bites.
  10. Some of the other games I play where being in windowed mode has advantages have had tools/gadgets released for them, usually by volunteer 3rd parties, to "fake" fullscreen mode (effectively hiding the titlebar and edges) while still running in fullscreen. Is there such a tool for Sacred 2 by any chance? I did some searching on both google and the forums but no joy.
  11. 2 pc's with 2 LCD screens each upstairs in the "study" (aka the mancave filled with computer parts) and a PS3 in the living room. *Tosses 2 alcoholic beverages of choice in the direction in the direction of Eindhoven *
  12. Middelburg, the Netherlands here, at a few km from the sea Love the pics of Scotland a few posts up btw. Visited Scotland around this time last year and had a blast.
  13. If these codes were to somehow fall into my hands as well I swear to complete secrecy as well as extreme gratitude. Which I suppose is a really convoluted way of expressing what basically boils down to: "Stuff! Gimme!" I wantssssss 'm....I neeeeeeedsssss 'm
  14. Created a character based on this build a few days ago and have been happily running around hardcore silver ever since Especially once you get the BeeEffGee modded to Gold things really become fun (awrighty boys, line up in single file!). And, as a bonus, for those of us with a subwoofer in their pc speaker set, the BeeEffGee does have a most satisfying thud when fired
