I know for me, I did not take the mod to increase spread, it seems like what essjayehm said holds. The closer I am the more narrow it flows and farther away more spread. As I tend to not rely on this spells, as much as I flipping love it and my GF hates it, I usually use far away to start the dot and close the distant to a 16 meteor stunning meteorfest. Due to the lag and almost constant freezes I would like to blame on BT sometimes I try and only have 1 out at a time.

I almost only play HE, idk what it is about her, but I have tried every other class and they just dont compare. But I have never seen this on my HE but I did see it on my Inquisitor, level 5 on PS3. His regen penalty for chest and/or bracers/shoulder plates didnt show up. Not a major bug but rather confusing. Cheers!

About the corrupt data - you can never be too careful. Always a good idea to save as well, before "Leave Game" just to be sure, like 1000% sure Just don't do it all too fast (wait for book/pen to disappear) or you could run into other issues. In regards to the missing regeneration penalty on armour, Lujate noticed that as well, and reported it here This issue is easily avoided, just watch your regen bar at the bottom of the inventory screen when equipping items without a displayed regen. penalty. Some pieces are light, and do not have much regen penalty (or sometimes, a regen bonus....) but others are heavy, with >10% penalty that is not displayed. regarding the saving, I think we were already bitten by that bug. We used to just start, save game, O, continue the killing and since we get most of our experience from killing. I think the times we had the game freeze up on us and we have to revert back to old save game, I think 60+ lvls of doing what I explained above caught up with us. Around 65ish or something we lost almost 3/4 of a level after a freeze! I dreamt that night I was a baseball pitcher and my flat screen HDTV was the catchers glove! Regading the regen penalty, im sure it had to of been noticed at the time of the post I was unable to read back so apologies for the double post. Ya I quickly learned to just go by that bar, but it was a little bit of a surpise. I knew that 2 star chest piece was too good to be true! Cheers!

wow to above post. regardless of PS3/xobx my gf will always be leaving first from now on. back on topic, not sure if it is in this thread but on my Inquisitor 2 pieces of armor DO NOT show the regen penalty. I know its the chest piece and I think its shoulders or bracers. Found this by running around the other day 130 regen penalty wondering why and didnt find out till I took everything off. Nothing major probably end game or once someone has armor lore at a decent level but this was on my level 5 Inquisitor. Cheers!!

Since I only play with my GF I dont mess with the settings, for 2 reasons really. The first being some relics are no star items but still sell for insane amounts of cash money and second I am a money hungry HE shopaholic and taking 2 minutes to scap some stuff really doesnt bother me, you actually get really good at looking through stuff fast. We are both level 69 with each over 49 mil not to mention the countless things I have bought just to socket, try out, made at least 20+ lowbies etc. I would say over my time we have made well over 200 mil easily. So really IMHO everything/everything is worth it. Cheers!

Actually that makes perfect sense, and that is what I figured. It was just a random thought on my boring drive to work today. Im really just looking for a use for FB. I got it at .8 cast speed and it does nice damage and I cant eat any more runes cuz I am like 9 lvls over max lol. It seems it was ok beginning lvls but was easily out shined by BT. Thanks for input. More specifically Blazing Tempest DoT and Fireball Dot, with right mods of course. As it stands now, I have all my pyro skills fully modded expect FB and I want to find a reason to even put FB in my "rotation" if you will. I see no reason to make it explode as my BT kills stuff off the screen thanks to my 7.5% increase in CA range weapon and IS as my boss stun lock CA, lol I love it I just lock em down! So I got to thinking, if I could stack BT's DoT, FB's DoT AND IS them to death..that would be pretty nasty. Can anyone tell/test/confirm/deny if it is even possible to stack multiple DoTs of the same element? I would really appreciate it! Plus im sure it would be nice info for future users. Cheers!!

I am trying to find out exactly what is causing this crashing/freezeing im getting, alot more than I would like to think is normal. Is is my fault? The PS3? The game itself? Is is because I use Blazing Tempest? Is there some setting in the game or PS3 menus I can check/uncheck to prevent future wasting of my life? Ive even gone to great lengths to get the PS3 its own fan to keep it nice and cool. I save every 9 minutes, soon to be 5. If they are long gaming sessions I will reset the PS3 itself and give it a little break every once and a while. The PS3 is brand the, the game is flawless..im running out of ideas. Sadly since game makers dont see that couch co-op hack and slashers could prolly run the gaming world, at least in my eyes, there are not alot of them out there so hence why I love this game. Its the fix I have craved since I got burnt out on D2 and WoW (not a couch co-op altough it could be). /rant? Cheers!

I have held the power button for 10 seconds, trust me I hate pulling the plug but thats the only thing that works. PS button doesnt do anything, doesnt even alter the screen nothing. Well im not sure what caused this but it has now become second nature, in fact im thinking its time to save before the timer goes off! so its nothing im doing unless its the fact that I dont wait for the save icon to fully go away before we continue on..but I highly doubt that equals 1/2 level 64 worth of experience. Thanks for input guys, I wish to get this resolved if possible.

I lost time is all really. The time taking to level up and its going to turn to hours later im sure. But that is unfortunate as I have taken every precaution in preventing my PS3 from overheating etc. It happens and we are usually just running or something, 1-2 times in battle. The screen just freezes, all the noise is still going on, usually my GF DA run buff etc etc and there is no way to get out of it. No PS button too hard restart, nothing. So I am forced to pull the plug from the back of the PS3. On a total edit sidenote..it has seemed to happen alot more lately. I have cleaned the disk mx times, put a fan on the PS3, not used BT all the time. It just freezes...my flat screen TV becomes a pusling target ring and my PS3 controller the arrow..and then I breathe.

Can someone help me find where I am going wrong with my saving? I will use an example that happened just last night. We get 90% of our experience by running around grinding mobs and due to countless freezes we have lost prolly 1-2 lvls and had to replay them. So we got a timer, set it to 9 minutes and every time it beeps I hit start, save game, and continue killing. Me and my GF turned on the res monolith thingy right before Faceletton (sp?) killed him, left dryad island, went to wastelands dock, turned on the arch portal thingy and went to orc lands to grind out level 65. We were 64 3/4 of a level when the thing froze and I had prolly saved 5 times since we had gotten to orc lands. So I reload the game and we are at 64 1/4 level! lost about half a level The only thing I can think of is, is that we dont wait until the save book? goes away before we go on killing FECAL MATTER!. Is this the reason? Cheers!

pretty much what the topic says. me and my GF just got to dryad island and totally cleared the island of turtles looking for this guy. we just want to kill bosses. is there something we are missing? we are pretty much caught up in the main story.

Ok so I will consider removing that quest from my list or just noting that in later playthoughs it can be very dangerous. I was just basing my original post off my findings in Silver, my fault, because I think everything died in 2-3 meteor/pelting strikes combo. Thanks guys for the input. Once, if ever, I get a decent amount of feedback I will definately put it into guide format, by area, difficulty, etc etc but it seems so far not alot. So I may just end up doing this on a piece of paper at home like I have been. Maybe not as good as idea as I originally thought. Cheers!

Thank you. I was totally aware they were 1 time only quests but what I was aiming for was fast easy chunks of experience some might miss if they didnt explore certain areas. I mean for example the Almost Godlike quest, super easy, I killed a dragon and got 31k experience in Silver. Yeah its one time but that took like 1/3 of my level 32, that was my goal. Regarding the quests you mentioned, are you saying you can repeat these? Or they are just in nice spots to get some extra experience? And is this only in Free World? I have never even started a Free World game so I dont know what that all does. TYVM for your input Cheers!
