Hi everyone. Just bought a second hand copy of Sacred 2 Gold edition. couldn't find a new one anywhere. Installed it on my Vista pc. Patched to V2.65.2.0. Restarted pc. Clicked on desktop icon that the game made, but it won't start. Just get writting on black screen ending with game manager or something. Downloaded the CMpatch, hoping this might sort it, but same thing with now a different picture on the black background and red writting rather than yellow. Same words. Searched through loads of stuff here, and decided to download the revoke tool. But this only recognises the Sacred 2 key, and not the Ice & Blood key. No idea why. Anyway, after hours of trying, I'm hoping that some kind soul might have an idea of how I can actually play the game I have bought ?! Here's hoping. Steve.

Wow, some great feedback there guys. Many thanks for all your words of wisdom. LL does have a visual effect on the PS3, which is a nice touch. You see a gold coloured line of death leading to your rapidly dying enemy. Lightning towers, yep, can't touch them on PS3 with blowpipe, but I have managed to get by with just ignoring them so far. Playing this game on the PS3 is a lot of fun, but in truth, there is no match to the pc. This game on the pc is 10 out of 10 IMHO. I have just upgraded my blowpipe, and the new one doesn't have LL, so I miss that, but I'll keep an eye out for things to socket or rings. IIRC, it isn't a good idea to go down all 3 lines of CA ? There are some nice things in Voodoo, but I was thinking of sticking to Hunter & Weaver aspects. I'm just hoping this is correct ? Dust Devil, hmmm, maybe I should have another look at that. Especially if it helps on bosses. On the PS3 you have to switch between 2 lots of action slots. Maybe I should think about a bow for slot 2 ? Hmmm, tough choice. Higher damage or higher speed................. One thing I had forgotten was how much time you agonise over item choices !? Whenever I come to upgrade my items, I fret over whether I can live without xyz so that I can have a higher abc, if you know what I mean ? I sometimes take ages at the merchant, because I can't decide between, say, 2 helmets ! Thanks again for all you have posted. What a fantastic community we have here. All the best, Steve.

Wow ! England just beat Australia by 14 runs !! Gotta be one of the closest ashes matches ever. Really wish I had Sky sports. I remember the good old days when we could watch it on BBC.................for nothing. *shakes fist at Sky* ! I think the next 4 tests are going to be very exciting indeed. The Aussies sure have found a gem in Aggar. Thank goodness we still have Jimmy Anderson. PHEW !!

Hi There. I've never got on with ranged toons, so I originally dismissed this class. On my return to this game (now on PS3) I thought I would give her a quick half an hour, then move on. Almost from the start, I just fell in love with this class ! I really love the blowpipe and the fact that you can take mobs down before they can even get to you ! I was going to give each class a short burst before choosing a couple to spend some time on, but have become addicted to the dryad. Here's what I have done thus far..............but please don't think of this as any kind of guide !!! I am the world's worst ranged builder and wanted to share to see if anyone was interested in giving me a bit of feedback.................like "yo, Steve, you suck dude" lol ! Ok :- I have reached lvl25 in silver & I'm trying to do as many quests as possible rather than just lvling quickly. I want to get as much from the game as I can. I have been raising my attributes of stamina and dexterity, as these seem to be most benificial to my build. The skills I have taken so far are :- capricious hunter focus, enhanced perception, ranged weapons, tactics lore, bargaining, concentration, and combat discipline. I have 10 points in sinister predator and ancient bark for my buffs. I have only taken ravaged impact and darting assault as ca's so far, but am thinking about maybe taking tangled vine and goldenglade touch as I progress. They are around 9 or 10. Don't want to slow them down too much. I am exlusively using a plowpipe atm. They have amazing speed, so I'm going for that over the bows higher damage. I'm hoping that between bargaining and enhanced perception that I can bag some really nice items as I advance. I hope that you won't spot to many flaws, but I would really appreciate any advice or even critics. I have played around 19 hours, but would be happy to restart if some-one were to find this build to be really bad. Cheers, Steve.

Thanks for advice Wolfie my friend. The more I look at this class, the tougher it seems to be. But, I have been lazy with this game in the past, so I really want to got for it now. I have previously just stuck to seraphim and sw class which are pretty simple tbh...........still fun though. It looks like I should definitely go with db then. Hmmm, I might have to restart my dude, as I may have gone down the wrong road ! That's ok though, as I haven't got to double figures yet. Hi. I've never given the TG a decent run. I really want to give him a good go now that I have this game on my PS3. What is a good weapon choice for the TG. I don't mean a specific unique/legendary, but in general. He starts off with a hammer, but is that the best for him, or should I switch to a sword or something ? What CA's should I go for and where should I spend my skill points etc ? Any help for this complete TG novice would be greatfully received. Cheers for now. Steve.

Hey there . I hope that everyone is well ? Sorry I haven't been around, but I've barely touched my pc for some time as I have been playing with my PS3. I've just got Sacred 2 for the PS3 and found that I have forgotten almost everything since I last played !!! Terrible eh ? I must be getting old, hehe. I have now owned Sacred 2 on Xbox 360, pc and PS3...............and to think that I wasn't that impressed at first !? I guess I must like it more than I realised. I looked for the Sacred Wiki that you guys worked so hard on and was a brilliant source of info, but I am struggling to find it. Has something happened ? At least there is stuff here still, though I haven't had a chance for a thorough read yet. What I'm looking forward to is playing the classes that I didn't bother with too much previously. I tend to get obsessed with 2 or 3 classes and overlook everything else, but I can put that right now. Anyway, it's good to see you all and I look forward to chatting some more. Best wishes, Steve.

Hi Maurice and welcome. First, thanks for the news and please keep us updated. Second, are you from Holland and based in Germany or has the country/flag system of the forum gone nuts ?! Third and last, please tell me that you won't insist on using Steam to activate Sacred 3. If you want to use them as an option, then fine, but please don't say that the only way that you can play the game is to use Steam. I know some don't mind, but I don't like Steam one bit. Hi there. I treated myself to an Ipad 3 the other day. Great piece of kit. Downloaded some free apps 'n' games, including Kingdoms of Camelot : battle for the north which is awsome. I just can't stop playing this little gem of a game. Another cool game is Bejewled blitz which is also very adictive. It's such fun being able to sit on my sofa and check the web out or do a bit of gaming without switching on my desktop pc and waiting for it to boot up. The Ipad 3 is lightning fast ! Only trouble is, I'm turning into a complete spud ! Anyone else got one ? Steve.

I need a new watch, so thought I'd have a browse through Amazon. After a short while of looking at the photos I gave up in anger, as most if not all of the watches had the wrong time on them ! Who's going to buy a watch with the wrong time ? I'll check out a store somewhere. Steve.

Hi. Yesterday, several of the items that I tried to place for sale on the EU GAH were rejected with an error code ( can't remember exactly, something like 31073). This morning, every single item will not be excepted at all ! Every time I try to put an item up for sale, the same error message. I looked on the official forum, and there are a lot of folk getting the same thing. Any of you guys getting this ? I know it's not life or death, but it is still a bit frustrating. Steve.
