  1. I know that it's been over a year, but I just thought I'd chime in to state that I believe I can confirm that the 'Stimulate' mod for Dislodged Spirit works the way we've been theorizing. I've been playing a caster-type Inquisitor with my friend over the past couple of weeks, and I had a chance to test the last choice of mods for Dislodged Spirit: The 'Stimulate' mod does indeed seem to give Dislodged Spirit a 'regeneration per hit +x' effect equal to: 0.5s+(0.5s*CALvl). For my character, it currently takes Dislodged Spirit 5.xs to regenerate at CALvl 13. However, with the 'Stimulate' mod, Dislodged Spirit completely regenerates as soon as it hits. According to the formula, I'm getting 7.0s worth of regen every time I hit an enemy with it. The 'Wildfire' mod, on the other hand, does not do what it says on the tin. Instead, it directly adds a lot (and I do mean a lot) of physical damage to Dislodged Spirit--while testing it, the damage that Dislodged Spirit was supposed to do jumped from ~210 (pure ice damage) to 700+ at CALvl 1.
  2. With Halloween right around the corner, I thought I would toss two more titles out there, in case anyone wanted some new (to them) scary movies to watch. --- One is called "The Haunting," and this part--used in the synopsis and the movie itself--never fails to give me goosebumbs: "Hill House had stood for 90 years and might stand for 90 more. Silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House and whatever walked there, walked alone." What it's about: "Dr. Markway is an anthropologist with a special interest in psychic phenomena who wants to try a true exercise in terror. Intrigued by the legend of Hill House, he invites two women, psychic researchers, to join him in his adventure. Mrs. Sannerson, who has inherited the old mansion, is suspicious of Dr. Markway's intentions and insists that her young nephew Luke go along with the group. Luke is a skeptic about the supernatural, until he entes Dr. Markway's eerie world. If someone decides to look this one up, make sure it's the 1963 version. The 1999 version is rather garbage in comparison. --- The other movie is called "The Changeling." I actually can't say much about it without spoiling it, but it's a horror/mystery combo instead of straight up horror. If you're interested in it, you're looking for the 1980 version.
  3. Played a little more yesterday. --- 22:37 : Level 24. 23:13 : Picked up a 'Ring of Harpys.' 23:45 : Level 25. Got 'Constitution' (SWL: 5, LFF: 16, LFL: 7, AL: 12, CD: 1, SWF: 22, C: 4). Started the quest-chain 'The Hunter Camp' ('The Hunter Camp' and the start of 'The Boar'). 25:15 : Got a 'Ker's Scepter.' Finished the quest 'The Boar.' Accepted and finished the quest 'Panem et Circenses' (does anyone know what this phrase means?). 25:32 : Level 26. Discovered that I picked up a 'Detheya's Cowl.' I don't care if the full set provides '+% leeched life,' the set is ugly. Also picked up a better pair of buff shoes, so (UF: 14 for 9.7% penalty). Lastly, accepted and completed the last part of 'The Alchemist' quest-chain ('Alchemist Jacobas'). --- I'm currently sitting in Artamark, ready to go after the Gambling Den Owner and Bloodclaw. Wish me luck! --- @essjayehm: You mentioned taking 'Ancient Magic.' That is not a skill choice for Inquisitor characters. Inquisitor eliminated. Remaining characters: Dryad, High Elf. I'm going to guess that you are playing a Dryad. You're using Moribund Animus and Ancient Bark for your buffs. You're using Twisted Torment (maybe), Malicious Totem, and Tangled Vine for damage-dealing against normal enemies, bringing in Edaphic Lances against bosses. You are using Acute Mind to boost your damage--which, incidentally, works with Testa. You also have Goldenglade Touch, which would mean that you only needed health pots for the early levels. Soooo...how wrong was I?
  4. Looks very nice...very nice indeed. The site runs faster for me, too.
  5. @Mystix123: Since gogo felt my last post necessitated modding, I feel I should apologize for what may have been perceived as rude behavior. I forgot that this is the internet, and that tone-of-voice doesn't always carry over well. Please accept my humblest apologies. I only meant meant it as light-hearted ribbing. Sorry if you were offended. --- Anyway, I made quite a deal of progress with Model #4NUB15 yesterday, in terms of powering up. I finished the 'Serving the Inquisition' quest-chain ('Serving the Inquisition,' 'Conflict over a Corspe,' 'Inquisitor Monwarion,' 'Problems in the Central Dungeon,' and 'The Prison Revolt') and the quest 'Help for Lawaon.' After that came 'Dirty Streets,' during which I reached Level 19. Then, while exploring (read: looting) the 'Broken Lance' tavern, I got a 'Gem of Life.' Considering my last amulet/talisman/what-have-you only had +5 defense, it was a considerable upgrade. Then I completed the 'Slaves...' quest-chain ('Slaves...,' 'Mutiny?') and got started on 'The Undead Legion' megaquest-chain. While on the first part of it... 17:17 : Level 20 (SWL: 5, LFF: 16, LFL: 6, AL: 12, CD: 1, SWF: 10). Modded Fiery Ember with 'Incinerate.' My reasoning: I don't need two sources of '-opponent's attack speed.' 17:38 : Got a 'Larilgar's Protector.' Proceeding with the megaquest ('The Undead Legion,' 'The Old Records,' starting 'Identifying the Undead') I reached Level 21. After that, another chunk of the megaquest was finished (the end of 'Identifying the Undead,' 'Immediate Action,' and 'Message to the High Council'). I took a break to eat around this time, and when I came back I found that (UF: 13 for 13.3% penalty). Afterwards, yet another chunk of the megaquest was taken care of ('Expedition to the Old Naval Port,' 'The General,' starting 'Battle Below Ground'). In the middle of 'Battle Below Ground,' I found a set of 'Arm Guards of T-Energy,' a much needed upgrade. Continuing on, I finished 'Battle Below Ground,' 'Getting the Plan of Action Approved,' and started on 'Journey to Clearview,' during which I hit Level 22. Finishing 'Journey to Clearview,' I finally worked on the last chunk of the megaquest ('Defending Clearview,' 'Kerry,' 'The Brother's Amulet,' 'Back with Beniel Again,' starting 'The Geneal of the Undead Legion'). 21:34 : Level 23 (SWL: 5, LFF: 16, LFL: 6, AL: 12, CD: 1, SWF: 19). Modded Icy Evanescence with 'Icy Needles.' My reasoning: '-opponent's movement speed' is mostly useless for this build. 22:00 : 'The Undead Legion' megaquest-chain is finished! Noteworthy loot: a ~17% deathblow ring and 'Lumen's Support.' --- Model #4NUB15 is coming along quite nicely. I think it's about time to get on with the challenge.
  6. @essjayehm: Actually, the Temple Guardian *CAN* choose 'Divine Devotion;' he just can't choose it as his first skill. It's a secondary skill choice for him. @Mystix123: Heh, sorry 'bout that. Also, I don't think the answer to your question will be as helpful as you think. All three remaining characters have at least two buffs that aren't of the summoning type. All three remaining characters also have access to at least one buff that *IS*. The High Elf has 'Fire Demon,' the Dryad has 'Moribund Animus,' and the Inquistor can turn 'Zealous Doppleganger' into a buff. Post Edited by gogoblender: Easy on the poking please
  7. @essjayehm: I did put it in my stash, yes. I actually plan on stashing all the uniques I find. Funny thing, though: Kara actually found a 'Glacial Defender' since I last posted--and another 'Wall of Flames,' as well. I have four of the blasted things now... Anyway, Divine Devotion was the first skill. Possible characters: Dryad, High Elf, Inquisitor, Seraphim, Shadow Warrior. You have taken an 'Aspect Lore' twice, but haven't taken 'Tactics Lore.' Shadow Warrior eliminated. Remaining characters: Dryad, High Elf, Inquisitor, Seraphim. Testa was the chosen god. Seraphim cannot choose a dark god. Seraphim eliminated. Remaining characters: Dryad, High Elf, Inquisitor. I actually can't eliminate any of the remaining characters for certain, but I don't consider any of the High Elf's buffs 95% offensive, so I doubt that's your character. --- Also, I forgot to post the set of rules I'm playing by for my HARDCORE character. My rules: New profile--there's nothing in the Hero Chest! No trading--it would be too easy with high +All Skills rings and amulets! No bargaining--no easy access to 2* items! Boss rush--kill all boss-type creatures in each difficulty! (I'm lenient with this one--I expect it'll get me killed)
  8. Yeah, just make sure you and your coop buddy have the same Ressurection Monolith active.
  9. I did an hour-long test yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that the 'Self Repair' mod for Jolting Touch is still bugged on the PS3. The testing process I used is posted below: I conducted the experiment on Silver difficulty. The target enemy was The White Griffon because of its health and high resistance to magic. Lost Fusion Lore was taken to 5 for the first two mod points. Lost Fusion Focus was taken to 4 for the third mod point. Combat Discipline was not taken. The mods for Jolting Touch were 'Payback,' 'Self Repair,' and 'Flux.' I can confirm that 'Payback' and 'Flux' work. I whittled The White Griffon's health down by attacking it physically. I did not notice any healh regen while doing so. When I started using Jolting Touch on it, it started healing faster than I was doing damage. NOTE: I believe that the exact effect listed on the wiki for the 'Self Repair' mod is incorrect. I had two or three instances of Jolting Touch active, but the healing effect provided by it did not seem to be as high as 5% of max health per pulse. Not that it matters for us console users...
  10. Got a helmet/headpiece for the buff suit (UF: 6.6 for 23% penalty). Started the 'Rivals' quest-chain ('Rivals,' 'Exterminator,' the beginning of 'A Good Deed'). 11:26 : Level 17 (SWL: 5, LFF: 16, LFL: 6, AL: 12, CD: 1). Modded Furious Emblazer with 'Incapacitate.' I really don't think that there's any reason to go with Terror instead. According to the wiki, they have the same chance to proc, so it's a choice between an enemy running away and an enemy that doesn't do anything at all. Does anyone have any arguments (theoretical or otherwise) as to why Terror would be the better choice? Finished the 'Rivals' quest-chain (the end of 'A Good Deed,' 'Order is Order'). Did part of the quest-chain 'The Alchemist' ('The Alchemist,' 'Ghost Energy'). Did the 'Squatters' quest. Got a staff and a sash for the buff suit (UF: 7.7 for 22.4% penalty). 12:58 : Second unique: 'Cheops' Eye.' 13:02 : Level 18. Got 'Source Warden Focus' (SWL: 5, LFF: 16, LFL: 6, AL: 12, CD: 1, SWF: 4) Modded Untouchable Force with 'Crumble.' My reasoning: see when I modded Untouchable Force with 'Mind Control.' Got leggings for the buff suit (UF: 10.2 for 18% penalty). :trans: 13:36 : Started the fight against The White Griffon. I hate this boss. 13:41 : Finished fighting The White Griffon. The fight was pretty tedious because the only thing that did decent damage was Furious Emblazer, which was slow to execute and thus didn't do damage as fast as I would've liked. Ah well, it'll get better. Accepted and finished 'Too Many Fish.' Accepted 'Serving the Inquisition.' --- Still working at it--this build takes a while to come into its own. Also, funny story about The White Griffon: back when my coop partner and I were still pretty new to the game, I had heard stories about TWG, so I had gotten it into my head that we were going griffon hunting. Since I didn't want to spoil the game for my partner and myself, all the directions I had gotten was that TWG was somewhere next to some T-Energy fields. We spent probably two weeks looking for TWG, going through all the T-Fields that we knew of and exploring the map in search of new ones. I then got more precise directions: TWG was in the T-Fields in the northwestern corner of Tyr Lysia. Specifically, right in the middle of an area we thought we had ruled out. We had completely explored that T-Field *except* for the part that had TWG in it. To top it all off, this exact scenario occured again in the desert. We were looking for the Harpy Queen. --- @essjayehm: The main reason I'm irked that I got a 'Glacial Defender' with this character is that Kara--one of my other characters--uses shields and very much would've liked it.
  11. So I got distracted from Hardcore because I was playing through with a friend, and then we both got distracted by the open beta of Battlefield 3. However, the lure of a challenge is strong, and thus, I am back. I only played for a few hours yesterday, though, so I only got a few things done. Most of it was quest-completing--something for me to do while I'm still building up the character. I completed 'House Cleaning,' 'War is Good for Business,' and 'Insuring the Insurance.' I also finished the Tyr Lysia segment of the story-long class quest-- --and leveled up a few times. The only really notable thing to happen was this: --- 9:16 : I got my first unique! What was it, you may ask? A 'Glacial Defender.' ...Of course I would get it with a character that can't use shields. The game is trolling me. --- Anyway, regen times are slowly getting under control. About the only thing left to do to clinch the deal is to get 'Source Warden Focus,' to lower the penalty Untouchable Force is giving me. Aside from that, once I have the next mod for Furious Emblazer I'll be going after a certain griffon that is overly fond of debuffing characters. --- @lujate: I've heard rumors, of course, but is Ice and Blood *that* much more difficult than Sacred 2? You make it sound like Ice and Blood is the Niobium to the Platinum of Sacred 2. @essjayehm: Out of curiousity, where are you getting those jokes you've been putting in your signature? They've all been hilariously bad--I've had to conciously refrain from facepalming at each one.
  12. So I played the character some more yesterday. Leveled up, completed some quests, and fought Gahanka--twice! Despite what *some* people might think, I did not have to run, and the first fight lasted all of two minutes. A more detailed account is below... --- Level 8 : Got Armor Lore (SWL: 5, LFF: 8, LFL: 1, AL: 1). Modded Jolting Touch with 'Flux.' My reasoning: I am counting on the combination of Voltage and Flux to offset increased regen times and allow me to pump CAs. It's totally possible that this will backfire on me. @essjayehm: You mean to say that you think the survivability of the character against later bosses is in question if I don't take Shelter, right? It's true that Shelter will increase survivability dramatically, but I'm planning on taking Constitution and Toughness, which I'm hoping will be enough to keep me alive. I visited the runemaster and got a 'Propelled Levitation' rune. I then made sure I had UF on and accepted 'The Kobold Chieftain.' 4:13 : Level 9 (SWL: 5, LFF: 8, LFL: 1, AL: 3). 4:25 : Started the fight against Gahanka. I drank a Light Concentration Potion and then proceeded to Jolting Touch him to death. For the record, JT took 4.5s to regen (without the potion) and did 33 damage with each pulse. If you think that doesn't add up, keep in mind that the 'Flux' mod essentially makes Jolting Touch recharge itself. 4:27 : Finished Gahanka. 4:41 : Level 10 (SWL: 5, LFF: 10, LFL: 1, AL: 3). Finished up 'The Kobold Chieftain' and bought/forged buff suit equipment (UF: 4.9 for 28% penalty). Also got an 'Icy Evanescence' rune. I now have every CA I'm ever going to use! Oh, and I continued the story-long class quest. 5:28 : Accepted 'The Advisor's Career Plans.' 5:33 : Level 11. Finished 'The Advisor's Career Plans' and did 'Nightcap.' 6:15 : Level 12. Got 'Combat Discipline' (SWL: 5, LFF: 10, LFL: 1, AL: 8, CD: 1). Started 'Rust,' a class quest that requires you to go up to the Kobold Village and find 'Oil Stone's. It also entails fighting Gahanka again. This fight lasted a little longer than the last because I was not much more powerful than before and because Gahanka had gained a not inconsiderable amount of health. It was still pretty one-sided, though, and I didn't have to drink a Light Concentration Potion this time. 6:41 : Level 13 (SWL: 5, LFF: 10, LFL: 4, AL: 8, CD: 1). Modded Furious Emblazer with 'Accelerant.' In hindsight, Immolation may have been better, but only if it practically guarantees that the enemy catches on fire. Thoughts? Lastly, I finished 'Rust' and did some more buff suit stuff (UF: 5.8 for 25.6% penalty). --- Slowly, but surely, getting stronger. Oh, and I almost forgot: it has been brought to my attention that by one of the guides in the Temple Guardian section--the 'Dwarf in My Left Arm' one, I think--that the 'Self Repair' mod for Jolting Touch was fixed on consoles. The whole reason I took the 'Voltage' mod was because I thought the other option was bugged. Can anyone confirm that Self Repair does infact work? If not, I'll probably do a quick test sometime over the next week.
  13. So, I started the character yesterday, but have only had time to put in about 3 1/2 hours worth of playtime. Nonetheless, here's what has happened so far: --- Obviously, the most dangerous time for the character was right at the start. Luckily, I was able to kill the two elven archeologists that decided it was a good idea to attack me without using one of the three 'Light Health Potion's I started with. The second archeologist was even kind enough to drop a 2* piece of armor. The starting chest gave me a rune each for 'Furious Emblazer' and 'Untouchable Force,' in addition to some armor. I promptly read the runes, equipped the armor, and activated the only buff I'll ever use with this character. I also started the campaign-long class quest. With health potions in limited supply until I could get to a merchant, the gun-arm proved very useful. Enemies would typically be pretty injured by the time they got to me. I would also tend to just sit and recover health instead of using a potion after each encounter. Since it was pretty slow-going, I didn't reach Level 2 until 0:20. I put the attribute point into 'Willpower,' and got 'Source Warden Lore' first to mod out the buff. (SWL: 2) My plan for the attribute points is thus: for every ten levels, two levels worth of points go into 'Willpower,' one level worth goes into 'Vitality,' two levels worth goes into 'Stamina,' and five levels worth goes into 'Intelligence.' Why? 'Cause I'm weird and I like to spread out my points. I got to the merchant at the Happy Cow Farm, and sold the 2* armor I got from the archeologist for a decent sum. I then spent most of it on a staff (for roleplaying purposes) and some cheap armor that didn't have awful regeneration penalties. I forgor to buy potions, though. I also started 'Rusty Inheritance,' a class quest for the Temple Guardian. While completing 'Rusty Inheritance,' I found an 'Amplifying Discharge' rune. I read it straight away. I finished the 'Rusty Inheritance' quest at 0:39. I got some armor from it that I sold straight away. I then bought the all the potions the HCF merchant had, as well as some jewelery and relics. On the way to Sloeford (more like Slowford, dang town takes forever to load every time I visit!) I found a 'Firey Ember' rune. Guess what I did with it. 0:52 : Got to Sloeford. 0:57 : Level 3 (SWL: 3). Am waiting until (SWL: 5) so I can get 'Lost Fusion Focus' next (in hindsight, pointless). Modded Untouchble Force with 'Mind Control.' My reasoning: this is HARDCORE! I'd rather something that boosts survivability than something that boosts (what I feel is) a rather insignificant amount of damage. Anyone wish to counter-argue? 1:15 : Finished looting Sloeford. I now have a decent amount of cash for the moment. Thus, I buy the local merchant out of potions for the second and last time. I did the 'Tutorial Runemaster' quest and got a 'Jolting Touch' rune. Jolting Touch immediately began making things slightly easier for me with its 'reduce regen times slightly' thing. 1:40 : Level 4 (SWL: 4). Did the 'Tutorial Blacksmith' quest, and immediately used the blacksmith. Bought an amulet for the coming buff suit. (UF: 2) Traded runes for one 'Archimedes Beam' and one 'Charged Grid.' Accepted the 'Mugged' quest. 2:20 : Level 5. Got 'Lost Fusion Focus' and 'Lost Fusion Lore' (SWL: 5, LFF: 2, LFL: 1). Modded Jolting Touch with 'Payback.' My reasoning: due to how I think I'm going to be using Jolting Touch, (this will be explained later) I'm probably going to be in melee range pretty often. "Chance to Reflect Melee" is better for survivability than a fixed leech life effect, I think. Modded Untouchable Force with 'Calm.' I don't think I have to explain this one. Counter-arguments? 2:38 : Level 6 (SWL: 5, LFF: 4, LFL: 1). Modded Jolting Touch with 'Voltage.' Again: shouldn't need to explain. Completed 'Mugged.' Stopped playing for ~20 minutes to eat. 3:05 : Level 7 (SWL: 5, LFF: 6, LFL: 1). Completed the quest chain involving that guy in charge at the Celestial Dome. Realized I never turned my buff on after I finished eating. 3:32 : Level 8. Have not distributed points yet. --- So, I was thinking that the final mod for Jolting Touch is going to be 'Flux,' to supplement regen times. I'll keep other CAs at not-quite-spammable levels, run up to an enemy, and alternate between Jolting Touch and whatever does the most damage to it. I'm worried that if I take Shelter, it will make the character into a joke. The way I imagine it, I just need to get two or three 'Jolting Touch's going on an enemy at once and I'll be mostly immune to damage as long as it's happening. What do you guys think? Regardless, I think I'm about ready to take on Gahanka.
  14. Okay, maybe not so soon. Started it yesterday.

  15. Nine months later, and the urge to play Sacred 2 has hit me again. Guess it's time to finally make and play that Pure Caster Temple Guardian that I planned out way back at the beginning of the year. Wish me luck!
  16. Sounds like an antithesis to the Three Wise Monkeys to me. Also, wouldn't the suffixes "of Invisible Evil" and "of Silent Evil" be more appropriate for chest/shoulder armor and footwear, respectively? P.S. I concur that the concept of Willpower boosting damage for lightsabers is awesome.
  17. You call that longwinded? I would like to have a word with you about some Righteous Hands of the Celestial... Anyway, it occured to me that the Dryad already has a set item called "Bark of the Forest," so maybe my suggestion isn't such a good one. Ah well.
  18. How about this one? Seraphim Build For Advanced Sacred 2 Players Nice.....but I don't think so. The last set of characters my friend and I played (before the SW and Inquisitor, which were finished quickly) were a Seraphim and a Dryad--he was the Seraphim, and I was the Dryad. They were both fairly successful, if not hardcore. I might take a crack at this challenge with the build I used...after I play through some other characters. As for the first character I'll try for this challenge.....I'm thinking Temple Guardian. A Pure Caster. No dabbling in the first aspect at all. Has such a thing been done yet? Edit: I took a look in the Guides section, and the closest thing to what I have in mind is Woody's Speed Leveler Area of Effect Temple Guardian
  19. Starting a new character soon...

  20. Not to ridicule your naming choice, but wouldn't the name "Legacy of the Forest" flow better than "Forests' Legacy?" Also, do you guys have a suggestion box or something? I know I'm on console, and that the Patch doesn't affect me, but I still wanna contribute!
  21. Originally, it was the allure of a hack & slash RPG that had couch co-op that got my friend and I interested. We were great fans of the genre back on the PS2; we spent many hours playing Champions of Norrath, Champions -- Return to Arms, and the two Baldur's Gate -- Dark Alliance games. Unfortunately, there haven't been any sequels. The genre seems to be dying, at least on the PS3. The only other PS3 game like this I'm aware of is Dark Kingdom, and that game was kinda rubbish. The thing that STILL keeps us interested in Sacred 2 is the enormous amount of build customization (I still haven't gone through the game with every class!), the oversized-yet-I-wish-it-were-bigger world map (haven't gotten 100% map completion yet either...), and, of course, the humor (I love the darkside SW's lines and voice acting). My friend keeps joking that Sacred 3 coming out too soon, 'cause we're still not done with Fallen Angel yet.
  22. Thinking about giving this a try soon, since I just finished going through Silver with a friend; him as an Inquisitor and me as a Shadow Warrior. It was the first time we had a Bargainer supporting us, and frankly, the entire run was too easy. We're starting again with a different set of characters because the two we were playing aren't holding our interest--that's how easy the SW and Inquisitor were to play. This Challenge seems like the perfect thing to make things more interesting. The only question is...which character/build do I go with? Tri-Aspect Dryad? Pure Devout Temple Guardian? Pure CASTER Guardian? I just don't know... Any suggestions?
  23. Gah! Can't believe I forgot about this earlier: Merry Christmas! (If you celebrate something else, I hope that's merry too!) Yeah, I know this is late. Sorry...
  24. As far as I'm concerned, Niobium itself is an 'area toons really do not belong." Then again, I've only made it to Niob with two toons, the first of which got slaughtered by elves and one-shotted by a boar. The second one (a rebuild of the first) got two-shotted by one of those sword-wielding demons I was talking about. With Ancient Bark giving me over 60,00 armor and ~65% chance to reflect melee. Yeah. Maybe I should have tried to fit in Constitution after all... The first toon convinced me that taking Niob lightly was a (very, very, VERY) bad idea, and the second told me that being paranoid about Niob is akin to being underprepared. Yeah, I think Niob is a scary place...and I was playing with a partner! In any case, both of those were tri-aspect Dryads that were designed to be played with a friend. I'm really not sure how well my character would have performed on her own. Ah well...if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. (Or in my case, failure may be your style. Yeah, I'm cynical.) Good luck with your next toon!
  25. Actually... no.. Wrong continent... Think Sacred 1... Good try though. And yes, you'd think so, however, there's that quest on Seraphim Island (Navigation Crystals) where the Seraphim teleports you to the Dome with some nav crystals she's been working on for them. When you get there, you talk to a gal who tells you the guy you were supposed to give the crystals to was her Grandfather and he's been dead for a very, very long time - something like 150 years if I recall correctly. When you get back, the Seraphim in question says something or other about Elven immortality not being what it used to be... That would imply the dome has been there for quite some time - in one form or another. Also, don't forget our not so friendly visitors. For all we know, they could have utterly laid waste to the original installation. Ya, I never played the first game, so by this point, you've completely lost me. Still an interesting read, though. And my memory must be going bad. I didn't remember that quest... Oh.....and MERRY CHRISTMAS! (If you celebrate something else, I hope that's merry too!)
