Quince cheese, Dulce de membrillo, Quittenbrot
lujate replied to chattius's topic in The Dark Kitchen
What's the consistency of quince cheese? Is it like a gum drop? -
@Timotheus, I think for now I'm going to stick with "run away to fight another day" when it comes to the Butcher. @gogoblender, I'm trying HC for now, but we'll see how long it lasts. I was doing a Firewall Sorc. It was effective, but too passive for me. Just drop all the Firewalls and run around in the flames until everything dies. I'm playing Barb for now, but I'm planning on another Sorc.

Baldur's Gate? Wow, that's a blast from the past. I played BG2 on Xbox probably 15 years ago. It had a teaser after the credits (ala Marvel Studios) showing an Egyptian-themed cut-scene. I looked for the sequel for a long time before giving up. Turn-based? Is BG3 turn-based? BG2 was an A-RPG, like Sacred 2, D3 and D4.

I appreciate the offer, but no thank you. I knew from the beginning that D4 seasons wouldn't be a big thing for me. They'll require more time than I'm willing to devote, and will consist of rushing thru and grinding content. Neither rushing nor grinding are for me. I'm guessing I'll have the campaign done before season 2 starts (I already have two acts complete), so I can dabble in that season.

gogo is right, you can remove individual points (Triangle IIRC), but you can only remove so many low level points because the higher tiers depend on them. Legendary aspects aren't all equal. They have a range of powers, and the one's in the Codex are always the weakest of that range. I played around with all the skills. When I found Shred, Enter the Underworld! It was love at first sight. I found the werewolf builder lackluster, so I don't use that one. There's a Tornado legendary that causes them to auto-track enemies. If that drops for me, I'd prob respec. Otherwise I'm happy with Shred.

Changing Tier takes you back to the main town, so that's not something I want to flip-flop. @claudius Strongholds are always 2 levels above me, but I haven't found them any more difficult than dungeons. The big takeaway from unlocking the Druid class mechanic was just how far away it was. It was quite the hike to get there. I don't know what an earth Druid is. What's your core skill? FWIW, I'm using Storm Strike builder and Shred (werewolf) core, plus Blood Howl, Poison Creeper, barrier, and wolves.

@kokoka I haven't heard any legit pay-to-win accusations about D4. @claudius I'm not much into theory crafting, but I also don't want to blindly adopt some build. I played around a bit and tried out every basic and core skill. Once I'd decided the ones I wanted to play, I searched for a build that used them. As for chat, I'm going try using the Blizzard mobile app. It integrates fully with the game, and it works like console chat should. I pick up my keyboard (or tablet in this case), type what I have to say, and then switch back to my controller. I don't think it does clan chat, but I think it allows group chats with multiple friends, so I don't think clan chat is a deal breaker.

My standard preorder allowed my to get the download done completely in advance, so I didn't have to wait. I didn't have any PS4/5 login issues that were widespread with early access. I'm having a blast and taking my time. Unlike during beta, I'm actually reading and watching cutscenes. @gogoblender FWIW I hear world tier 2 isn't worth it while running the campaign, and the increased rewards aren't commensurate with the higher difficulty. I did learn ingame that after the campaign the first capstone dungeon is available in tier 2. So you'll need to do tier 2 for endgame.
