  5. Sounds Yummy.....please share the recipe Borg. Hubby aka Moonwatcher always smokes atleast 1 turkey breast and 1 full turkey for our family Thanksgiving dinner. I also cook 1 full Turkey in the ole oven for the dinner to get all the lovely juices for giblet gravy and the stuffing. I don't have the patience that hubby has to keep up with the smoker....lol. He will get up and going about 2 in the morning and get the coals hot we have a double smoker/grill he builds the fire in the smaller "firebox" area and adds water soaked hickory or mesquite wood chips to the coals while cooking. Can bearly wait as the day is getting closer to the big "cookoff"....lol my whole family comes here for Thanksgiving and I get to have all the fun in the kitchen myself.... I don't know how to add a pic of the smoker sorry.... it is black cast iron and has a small round "firebox" and then a "large" round grill area (they are laying on their sides.) Hubby is the master of the grill and the kitchen is mine......lol Stargazer

  13. well here goes...... Stargazer = Angel BORING and the questions that I have had to endure my entire life... Are you one? Do you behave all the time like your name suggests? Are you sure it is not Angela? Oh really? Why? Aww such a sweet name you must have been adorable "as a child"....lol and on and on can't remember them all. And before you ask ..... Just ask Hubby *Moonwatcher* NO I AM NOT!!
  14. awww so sweet Lord... I remember those days.... so long ago, my baby is 22 and has 3 little uns of his own. lets see....the thing that makes me the happiest: Snuggling up in Moonwatchers arms at night watching tv, then taking the snuggles to bed time and falling asleep in his strong arms. Hearing him say I love you to me as I fall asleep. Waking up beside him in the morning. The sound of rain on the metal roof of our trailer house. The warm wet kiss from our puppy. Hearing from our son who now lives in upstate New York at Fort Drum and hearing the granddaughters laughing in the background. Hearing from our daughter and the grandson and granddaughter laughing on the background. Nothing much better than hearing happy children laughing. Guess that is all for now, but like others have said before me, this is addictive and I will be back.....lol
  15. Congratulations Ike !! He is a cutie ! Stargazer
  16. from Oklahoma: HOT HOT HOT and HOTTER still. For the past 10 or so days we have been at 100 F or better then you factor in the "heat index" and by midafternoon the temperatures were ranging in the 110 F range. We had a bit of a break today as the high only reached 98 F. LOL. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow (Thursday). I will enjoy that only if it goes on all day as if it stops midway thru the day and then the sun comes out it gets to "steaming" hot here. Sometimes in the summer after a rain shower you can actually see steam rising from the ground. Now I think I can feel for vegatables that get steamed before they are eaten......lol. I for one am looking foreward to the fall (my favorite time of year) Stargazer
  17. Hey Genenut, would you consider an alliance with Moonwatcher and myself? Just our little family guild... right now just moonwatcher and I are playing but our grown children are part of it when they play, which isn't very often as they all have the notorious WoW bug....lol. Just a thought. Stargazer
  18. Sorry to hear about this. Best thing I know would be to get pictures or video of the abuse then the authorities would have to listen. Atleast I would think so. No don't take matters into your own hands as that just makes you as bad as he is, get the evidence then go back to the authorities. That would be my advice anyways....anyone else:) Stargazer
  19. Ok here goes....I may be a bit off on this as both of moonwatcher's and my children are grown with little children of their own, but: Both of our grown children play WOW, we have tried it but don't like it....we are devoted to GUILD WARS....LOL Both grown children also have GUILD WARS our son and his wife play guild wars also (occasionally) and we team up to run together either the son or daughter-in-law as they only have one computer at this time. Our daughter isn't fond of guild wars but our son-in-law will play occasionally. We use this as a way of getting together to say hey and chat, as daughter and family live about 130 miles away and now son and family are 1400 miles away. When both kids were home the game of choice was DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS....table game so we used our imagination....Moonwatcher was the dungeon master most times he could dream up the most challenging and "wicked" quests and dungeons ever! We all had our own set of dice and miniature pewter characters that we would move around the table like we were actually running them....ahhhh I miss those days....hours and hours of fun. A dungeon run would usually run all day long and far into the night. We would break for a meal and then right back at it, sometimes just eating snacks while playing for hours on end. I remember one weekend we played for the full 2 days without stopping for sleep...dang did we crash when we realized that it was Sunday night and we all had to go to school/work the next day. stargazer
