Tell me your honest thoughts guys...will Sacred 3 be as playable as the originals. I haven't really played anything as much as I played the original Sacred. My best wish would be an updated version of the original games. You can tell from this post I haven't been playing anything online or trolled the net since the days of Sacred.

All this talk and speculation going on around Sacred 3 has me hoping that it will take lots of content from Sacred 1. I am however sceptical that S3 will meet my expectations, I am preparing myself for a let down. If I had one magical wish that the game gods would grant me it would be a re-release of Sacred 1 with lots of expansions and many new side quests in the original world of Ancaria.

Wow you guys are way ahead of me, I haven't been able to play much so I am pretty much playing SC when I get a chance to have a dabble. I want to explore every inch of the place and do every side quest I can find before I dip my toes into HC. So far the few times I have been able to play it has been enjoyable. I must wonder though at the replayable aspect of the game, is four acts enough for longevity, though I suppose they will bring out more modules or extenders, at least I hope so.

Peeps if you want a really great graphical experience with the freedom to wander that we had in Sacred 1, then 2 Worlds 2 is one you should try. Crafting spells or hack and slash, there is something for every type of player. Multi player is great for levelling. Building and maintaining a village that produces the type of goods you want is great fun, or you can build a village purely to make money. The game at the moment could easily be called a Beta, but the content is so good that the future of the game is assured. This game is the closest that I have found that brings players together like Sacred 1 did.

The very best thing they could do with Sacred 3 is to go back to Sacred 1 + Underworld and work from there. Most especially the allowing for the old game arena set up. I know I will get a lot of Boo Hoo, but for me Sacred 1 and Plus was and still is the best release of Sacred,

Dags Clan DA I had just finished clearing an area of bad guys when another member of Clan DA needed help to set up Ventrilo, so I opened up the admin screen of Vent on top of my game. It took me quite a while to get him sorted. When I closed vent the monsters had re-spawned and killed my Dark Elf....DoH

Steve (8inch, Penny's husband) messaged me the very sad news a few days ago. I was taken aback so much that it took me a couple of days to post about it at Clan DA, and then the SIF. Even though I knew she was battling cancer for almost a year, I always thought that Pen could beat it, she was such a strong person. Penny was larger than life to many many Sacred players, right from the early days of 2004, before she came to us at Clan DA I had the pleasure of spending long hours gaming with Penny and Steve. Penny was much loved by everyone who knew her. Penny's persona will remain on the clan DA roster for as long as we survive. Rest in peace Penny luv.

Though different mythologies and historical fact, still,some how fitting the 300 fight scene I loved it thanks man.

Hey there cyclops, I am glad you are enjoying yourself here in Oz mate. I know Stubbie would disagree with me, but your in the wrong city mate. Brisbane is THE place . I grew up in Hoxton Park way back when it was way out in the sticks, at a time when the train ended at Liverpool lol.

My My how Dark Matters has grown since inception. I haven't visited for quite some time. A credit to GoGo, Schot et al. This has turned into a truly great site.

To tell you the truth ~Night.Wolfe~ I think that the D.A.R.K forum probably already does what you intend. This forum is a melting pot of just about every sacred player I have come accross,though I must admit I have not been very active in Sacred of late

As some of you will know I have been away from home on vacation for five weeks. I am itching to get back to Sacred and flog a few baddies. Jude and I leave Hungary tomorrow for home, then watch out dragons. GoGo great job on the monsters guide mate I'll be hanging around gold to niob when I get back.

B5 was/is my favourite sci fi of all time. I bought every episode as it came out on VHS. I still have the whole collection, including all the spin off movies. I still get pleasure rewatching it from time to time.

Hi to all dark Matter members. Wow what a site. The graphical backgrounds are fantastic. The thread topics diverse and interesting. So much to see and read. It will take me ages to look into all the interesting topics. So I'll grab a and start reading. A little about me. I am a Sacred nut that dabbles in GW and WoW. I am seriously hanging out waiting for Sacred 2. I am a member of Clan DA, a clan that had its roots on Sacred but has diversified a little now. From the look of all the topics I see here I know I will garner lots of interesting things. Kudos to the site developers of Dark Matters, great job .
