  1. You will deal more damage if you apply the trick I showed you, since the legendary is better than the other one so equipping two of them will result in more damage output than you'd get equipping the legendary and the other weapon.
  2. uhm let's see. when choosing a weapon, you should generally be wielding two identical items. of course, finding another identical copy of an item is insanely hard in sacred2, so what you do is clone it using the player's chest trick. here we go: 1) put the desired weapon in the "shared belongings" section of the player's chest. 2) save the game, and exit to main menu. 3) go to "C:\Users\%YOUR_USER_NAME%\Saved Games\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred 2" and find the chest.sacred2chest file. it should be right above your "heroXX" save files. 4) right click and copy it, then paste it on the desktop (or wherever you want, just not in the sacred 2 folder). 5) now back to the game. go to your player's chest and withdraw the weapon. 6) save and exit. 7) go to your desktop (or wherever you pasted the chest), copy it and overwrite it in the "C:\Users\%YOUR_USER_NAME%\Saved Games\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred 2" folder. 8) back to the game. go to your player's chest and you will see that inside shared belongings there is an exact clone of the weapon you withdrew before. 9) enjoy. this trick essentially doubles the damage you deal. if you find another weapon and you see that equipping it alongside the other weapon increases the damage, then just clone the better weapon and equip it. the key to your questions is PELTING STRIKES. you want to keep this spam-able, so low regen time. if you see that the CA is fully recharged while you're still executing it, you may eat another rune. the thing is, you want as much damage as possible in as little time as possible. pelting strikes is a better choice for a non-magic seraphim than radiant pillar is (obviously). you don't need any conbat arts outside the exalted warrior aspect, and you better not use them since they'll prove to be inferior in the long rune, and they will diminsh your rune find chance. so stick to battle stance and pelting strikes. other good Combat Arts to use (beside the other two) are soul hammer, dashing alacrity.
  3. welcome buddy! and hey, modded game files can be useful sometimes... notice how I'm saying "useful" and not "game-breaking"
  4. glad to hear that knuckles! you won't regret it
  5. how much WIDD did you have on that character by the way?
  6. @essjayehm: yeah, dryads probably don't even need many defensive skills to survive. I mean, just look at ancient bark... it's insane! though those few essentials do make her much more durable and virtually immortal. I'm a big fan of no-risk builds, and this is by far my favorite. I wonder what it could do with a throwing star+shield... though she probably doesn't need one @gogoblender: hehe, this build is practically a testament to what you can achieve without a network and a bit patience, though the dryad is a quite a special character, I don't know how true that is for other classes. if you plan on doing something else you're probably much better off with a shopper's network, especially if you're playing hardcore. if you just want a quick build, then pick either this or the BFG seraphim... though this one is much more durable. it's probably the lowest risk build of the game. because you're not in any danger even if the enemies come close and hit you like a ten ton truck. I'm really curious how she'd turn out if I did use shoppers and niob smiths. unfortunately, had to reinstall windows on my PC and thus format, so I don't have anything to give ya guys. but just give me some time and I promise I'll upload a fresh high-level character.
  7. holy crap that's amazing! I'd never be able to play such a character. way too risky for me. I mean, I do realize WIDD combined with pain and life leech (you ARE using them, aren't you?) is awesome, but I don't think I'd be able to manage it well. in my hands, it would probably be a monumental screw-up. p.s.: nice, love cage the elephant.
  8. nice, have a similar build but without speed lore. I always liked those big muscly characters with huge two-handed weapons on their shoulders. it's a classic, much like the wizard leaving a burning track of destruction behind his or her steps. by the way, frenzied rampage is generally a more effective CA than demonic blow, much like multi-hit was more effective than hard hit. if you hit many times, even with slightly reduced damage, you end up doing more damage than with only one, huge, hard-hitting blow. plus frenzied rampage also heals you faster, especially if you have some life leech (preferably %) weapon. I for one, was doing more damage to a boss with frenzied rampage than demonic blow. good work anyway, as I said before I really like this type of build.
  9. thanks for feedback, ololcat. for being the first one to comment, you'll receive a chocolate cookie! ... ... yeah, you wish anyway, I agree, though a veteran will surely squeeze more out of it. maybe even improve it, as there's always room for that. come on, people! get your blood pumpin' and tell me what ya think of my wee lil' build!
  10. @sirius: I don't think "today's kids" are actually "into" that kinda music. the most of them ill just wear anything the TV or whatever (mainly teen 'zines and that stuff) says is fashionable, no matter how ridiculous it is... you have to admit though, that those people are geniuses. I mean, they get rotten rich on stuff like facebook, MTV and whatever. either that, or the people are stupid. by the way, I also think Judas Priest's Breakin' The Law and British Steel period isn't as good as their '70s spree. @Aegis: man... 18 and Life is just plain awesome. I remember the first time I listened to it a couple years ago, blew me away. too bad skid row went in another direction after the first 2 albums, and too bad they kicked out Sebastian - he's probably the best '80s hard rock vocalist. I mean who needs Axl Rose when you got that kind of singer?! awesome. just awesome. @chattius: haha, nice man! never knew about German new wave. seriously. I don't like new wave in general, but small subcultures like that, I find fascinating oh yeah, I'm currently listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival. love them. probably gonna do a CCR-thon soon.
  11. oh, and congrats for level 12 in bronze. I would've ran out of patience much earlier.
  12. I think Clustering Maelstrom - Levin Array - Raving Thrust might work out better than CM - Thrust - Array. that's because Maelstrom + Array kill mobs extremely quickly, with elites having a chance to survive, so you knock them back and possibly finish them off before they can actually pose a threat to your HP. at least that's what I've found during my playtime with a similar build.
  13. yeah, I totally agree with you. sacred wiki's a great resource and helped me a lot as well. thank you DarkMatters!
  14. interesting... when I first saw them the thing that immediately popped into my mind was: "hell yeah scared 1 portal runes!", haha... obivoulsy I knew that wouldn't make much sense anyway, can't wait till the next patch comes out. great work guys, keep it up. oh by the way, since I couldn't find any bug report CM patch topics, I'll just post it here. basically when you finish a sidequest (gray pointer/circle) the pointer and the circle keep showing up on your map until you choose another sidequest from the logbook. is this a known issue? anyway, I think it should be fixed. it can get quite annoying and confusing, just saying. edit: sorry for the double post. I'm used to forumfree, where when you post something within a certain time threshold from your previous post, and there are no other users' posts in between, your posts get merged into one. sorry.
  15. definitely. go for it. if you find you're having a hard time, I have some advice for you. start a high elf in bronze and take it to level 2. that's it. stop right there. when you level up, have her take the bargaining skill and put your extra point there. now find a player's chest on this site with rare items, preferably high level, and sell them all. now you have a level 2 bargaining toon with lots of cash. buy some +bargaining relics and items, put them on and start shopping for good gear for other classes, in this case the seraphim. once you have all you need, put them in the shared belongings part of the player's chest, start a seraphim, and once you're in the game press the X button (assuming you have ice&blood installed). the carrier imp at your side during character creation will spawn, and you can access the player chest. just equip the gear you've bought and start rockin'. you may want to look out for +x% damage and +all skills jewelry. you should get to at least level 8-10 without any trouble with that gear, and by then you'll be "mature" enough to climb up on your own. cheers if you have any doubts regarding my post, ask away and I'll be more than happy to help
