Welcome to DarkMatters and thanks for trying the mod! You misread. The description for Sinister Predator reads as follows: While active, Sinister Predator increases ranged weapon attack speed and chance to hit for all weapons. It also adds a chance that opponents will drop shrunken heads. This accurately describes the effect of the buff, which is working as intended. The base attack speed only applies to ranged weapons, as stated in the tooltip.

I've been away from GD since my epic three-difficulty marathon playthrough with my Battlemage in the spring. I can feel it calling me back though. I never even got around to playing the last big content update, with the witch-gods and all that. Right now I'm trying to get my Crucible Steam key sorted out through Humble. If not I'll just buy it on GOG since I own it on there too. Along with Sacred series this is one of a few games I bought multiple times. -
Does anyone have a Three aspect dragon mage > 40 ?

Welcome aboard! I have a triple-aspect Dragon Mage (my very first character) but he is very high level and has already beaten all the content in the game. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. You could try the character editor like Chattius said (link in my signature) and try to rebuild your old character and start from there. Good luck! -
Is there Sacred Gold HD mod or something that will improve resolution ?

Interesting. Though, in all the screenshots the resolution looks stretched horizontally, as if the proportions weren't preserved. Not true widescreen. I can definitely see an improvement in the 3D models, though it's really the 2D art (ground textures especially) and the interface that suffers from low resolution and needs improving. Still, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for sharing this info Psojed and welcome to DarkMatters! -
I'm 95% sure that the fx is showing up the same as it always has. There's a small possibility that changing the spell class altered it, but I doubt it. I changed the spell class to allow additional fireballs to fire simultaneously (see picture) instead of sequentially like vanilla. But if you're not getting multiple fireballs at all with the modifications, something must be messed up somewhere. Still haven't got a chance to run tests, this is a very busy week for me.

I don't take it as criticism, because I didn't change anything. The FX for Fire Bolt are identical to Ancestral Fireball. The FX lines for both scripts read: fxTypeCast = "FX_HE_FEUERBALL_C", fxTypeSpell = "FX_HE_FEUERBALL", fxTypeCastSpecial = "FX_HE_CAST_K",

I'll look into those Sorceress issues. She's next on my rebalancing list. I get that complaint about Inferno all the time. It seems to work fine for me every time I check it, but I'll check again. I wish I could add in an effect for just a modification, unfortunately I can only effects to the base combat art. So no explosions. I don't know why Fusillade wouldn't work but I'll test it. With Firewall, it's actually Radiant Pillar with different FX. The visuals have no effect on the damage pulses. It's just scripted to cause damage once per second. I can speed up the damage pulses, if that's what you want. But the visuals won't change. I was never really happy with how this one looks. It's more of a fire pillar than a fire wall.

Hi Sandra. I would uninstall the previous version of the CM Patch first before installing the new one. The uninstaller for 1.40 was supposedly bugged but you might not have any problems.

I haven't abandoned this mod. Just taking a break to play the new Witcher 3 expansions. Found new music for the ending credits

Well, you can try this: After installing the mod, navigate to the file in your Sacred 2 install directory: locale\en_UK\global.res [this is the English language file] Copy this file, and then navigate to locale\es_ES\ and paste in the English global.res, overwriting the Spanish one [back up the old version first!] This changes almost all language into English, however some random items will have Spanish names. It's not a perfect solution but it's the only option.

What language is your game installation? Spanish? If so, I'm sorry but there's no translation for Enhanced Spells in that language. The spells and skills will actually work as intended, but the text and descriptions will be completely wrong. However, If you're playing in English, there may be a different problem. Let me know, and thanks for trying the mod!

Dang I never commented about the final episodes did I? Well my feeling is this: they saved up all the awesomeness and unleashed it all in the last episode. As I've been saying, this season so far may not have had the most twisty-turning-shocking reveals, but it was doing work. Work moving the plot along towards a conclusion, which is a first for the show. Well, this final episode combined both elements. It managed to move the plot along with great big long strides, AND shocked and amazed the hell out of me with all kinds of twists and turns and big green BOOMS. Like a season finale should, has me rarin' to go with the next installment. Don't forget the prophecy about Cersei's killer being her "little brother" is omitted from the show. I have a feeling they might try to avoid that altogether. In the books, Tyrion tells Jaime that Cersei has been sleeping around way back when Jaime busts him out of jail. This widens the divide between the two. Jaime had a pretty impressive redemption arc in the books, but in the show he keeps backsliding because there's been nothing to divide him from Cersei. Maybe that will change now. -
Luckily Reduced Fog and Music Mod can be installed in literally any order, before everything, after everything, doesn't matter. They conflict with no other mods whatsoever. The one exception is Diablo 2 Fallen, which is a huge mega-mod that overhauls the whole game so it's not compatible with anything else, but rather includes custom versions of most of these other mods built-in. It's a mod for when you want something completely different. But generally, yes, you would deactivate mods in reverse order from how you installed them. The Mod Enabler actually forces you to do so in the cases where two mods change the same files, which is a good thing.

Welcome to DarkMatters! Mods do indeed breathe new life into the game. My personal install order is: Community Patch 1.50 Community Items Mod 1.2a Hotfix Elite Mounts Mod 1.10 Enhanced Spells 1.4 Reduced Fog Mod Flix's Music Mod undressed Mod 2016 would need to be installed last, followed by this patch: undressed Mod+Enhanced Spells+Elite Mounts patch, as I mentioned our PM's. Wardust's Serious Textures 2.0 is another popular one, though some changes are unusual. It would need to be installed between Elite Mounts and Enhanced Spells. Ignore the compatibility patch for Wardust's mod that is packaged with Elite Mounts - it is for an outdated version. However, Wardust's mod is not compatible with undressed Mod 2016.

Yes, this is a very common problem with installing any mods with the mod enabler. Thanks for trying the mod, hope you enjoy it. I'm very slowly working on the final release.

Hello and thanks for downloading the mod! Sounds like it's a folder issue. Do you have the game on Steam or GOG, or disk? GOG or disk will probably be like: C:\Sacred 2 Gold\MODS\Enhanced Spells Mod 1.4 Directly inside this folder you should see 3 folders: locale, pak, scripts Just to make sure you don't have a duplicate folder such as Sacred Enhanced Spells Mod 1.4\Enhanced Spells Mod 1.4

In many seasons past episode 9 was the "big" episode and episode 10 often just did some housework tying up loose ends and of course setting up cliffhangers for the next season. I expect more of that this Sunday. Man hard to believe this season's almost over. I hope the Mereen crew sets out for Westeros. I hope we see Bran and co. make it to the wall and start preparing. Otherwise, I feel like anything goes now, with the other plotlines. Who can guess? They scraped the last remnants of book material with this season (and changed it so much it doesn't really matter anyway), so your guess is as good as mine. Even though I revile Cersei I do wish she'd just unleash FrankenMountain on the High Sparrow and all the Faith Militant, just for some action. Looks like the whole schism between Cersei and Jaime isn't going to happen, or will postponed at best. This was a big part of his redemption arc in the books, I wonder why they don't want it in the show? -
It's probably not true knockback (which is kind of underwhelming) but the "hurl" ragdoll effect when an enemy is killed. It existed in early versions of the game, but then was removed except for Clustering Maelstrom and Scything Sweep. I restored the "hurl" effect back into my spell mods. When you kill an enemy with a combat art, their corpse flies back, and yes, even flying off cliffs if you're positioned right.

Baelish single-handedly engineered the War of the Five Kings. There is no one responsible for more misery and death than he. He's hard to hate though. He's so brilliant, you're almost just in awe. He always has a backup scheme. He'll probably want to go on and marry Robin Arryn to Sansa. Since Robin is his puppet, the Vale is basically his. Then he'd have both the North and the Vale in his pocket. I doubt Sansa will be as easy to rein in as in the past though.
