  1. Ran into GoGo, a couple of times now in game. Made me nervous was dying to things I normally wouldn't have. Hey GoGo, we need to get together in a full group and get our 5 Neph stacks and just steam through for some Paragon Leveling!!
  2. All this time I never knew the purpose of the Damage (40-40) rings, if equipping them in the ring slot, it seemed to not change anything on your character info sheet. Then slotting them on a weapon, is what made an absolute extreme difference with WEAPON BASED CHARACTER BUILDS, insanely overpowered. When using my support Bargainers before I was always searching for +All Skills for all my gear slots and even my weapon slots. My question is, with Character builds that are Non-Weapon Based Damage like a non-coup HE, can give them the same type of insane boost that damage rings do for weapons, and weapon based CA's. My Seraphim right now at level 25, it able to hit for 3200 to 5800 damage with a Polearm that has 2 slots filled with the Damage rings. My level 94 Pyro HE, BT ticks for 6000, and shower ticks for 3000 per meteor. And this is a difference of 69 levels!! For better comparison when my HE was around level 25, her BT ticks were around 400 a tick so.....
  3. I think you're right about it being a kind of competition... it's funny cuz it wasn't anything like that before, not with the open world and massive number of quests available... They are doing a good job stripping away the "sacredness" of the game...albeit it's the part that's more expensive... alas gogo In all actuality, it should be about competition right? On a level of pride and maintaining the franchise for 1, they should be trying to compete and bring out a product that surpasses the first Sacred titles, especially since they are a new company adopting another Franchise. I understand they want to put there own personal stamp on the game, but if you are going to completely change it, create another title and "base" it off of sacred, if you want to try and keep the original fanbase. As far as competition with other games. Well that is true as well, all game manufacturing companies main goal is profit, yes they preach about the quality of the game, and wanting to keep us happy, but that's only obvious, since giving us a good game, and great quality pays their bills. So if they are above the competition in quality and gameplay, they achieve that main goal. Which after all, this is a business and I don't complain. Mostly all of us, are going to buy it anyways just due to us being loyal the the title that has brought us alot of fun, but we are a small percentage of what Sacred 3 could be capable of bringing in, if they were introduced as competition to a popular Diablo franchise that has already rubbed alot of people in the wrong way.
  4. REALLY, didn't even know there were 3 star versions! Well my seraphim is going to adopt a lil of your build with EP and Bargaining emplimented in her build, I'll see what I get leveling her.
  5. Is it me, or is it that blue quality or better (2 Star) just drops way less than any other weapon in the game. At lower levels you can easily bargain a 2 Star one with 2 gem slots and a bronze slot, but as far as drops... seems super rare.! Or is it just me...
  6. yeah I never use, Spell Resist, I was moreso thinking of combat reflexes to nullify the critical hits against me over the evasion part, but I haven't seen enough spells in the game that seemed dangerous enough to need to dedicate a skill to. OMG Rofl, u hate CR, lol funny as hell but extremely insightful. Wow, I was scared to try a toon with EP and Bargaining, I thought I'd be loosing too much, yeah I agree on Combat Disc, I don't haven't yet mastered it, but at lower levels I don't see such a great dps game from it, nor regen differential. Changing a regen time from 1.2 sec to 1.1 sec just isn't worth it. Additionally I seen you guys went DW, I have my Inquisitor that I was thinking of going DW with and my Shadow Warrior is too busy sticking his purple finger in enemies ear so, since I don't have a melee 2 hander I was going to go Polearms. Seems that polearms are easily accessable while you are leveling, and from bargaining you get a great selection that are really of good quality. Halbergs and Javelins But do Seraphim CA's in EW have good synergy with 2handers and damage dealing. Also, is it worth it to select Polearms as a skill?
  7. Wondering if an Exalted Warrior, Battle Stance Buffed warrior can survive in Niob, with Divine Protection as a buffer, supported by Armor Lore Toughness Combat Reflexes? Trying to avoid a Constitution, WeL Build, my thoughts are that most will say Constitution is a must, if so is Combat Reflexes Dropable?
  8. Before on your testing when you said that you were in the griffen town on your Seraphim, you remember what quest it was that your Main quest line was at? I'll try to stop a main quest line slightly before what ever point you were at so we can try and pinpoint when the quest breakpoint was.
  9. Well you can include me as another addition to that crowd, because I did exactly that.
  10. 1. Battle Mage? How would it differ from a High Elf 2. Vampires - I never played S1, so someone explain there gameplay. 3. Gladiator - your basic prehistorical warrior type, all games should have one. 4. Dark Elf - Hopefully we won't have dark and light differential this time so all classes can play together. 5. Wood Elf - Holy Hannah!? 6. Dwarf - My pure Dislike of Dwarfs (wow related) will not allow one to be made on my system. 7. Daemon - Does this mean Demon? If so would be wierd alongside a Seraphim huh. 8. Inquisitor - I liked somewhat, never fully got a chance to xp one since it was soley a dark character. 9. Seraphim - LoL, you guys talking about cleavage. I need to log on, honestly never really noticed it, if that was the case, the Dryad seemed more provacatively built in the game for my flavor, especially a brand new level 1 geared toon. But yeah this class never caught my attention. 10.TG - OMG no, just No!! 11. Dryad - A hunter type class is a must, doesn't have to be Dryad because I don't see the longevity of one in the story line, but hunter yes! 12. Shadow Warrior/Knight - Honestly the dead warrior, coming back to life working for good with powers to raise the dead seemed like a reach to me, make it 2 separate classes, your "Gladiator" for one time, and a Necromancer to fullfill the other part. 13. Dragon Mage - I'm a consoler in this franchise so, no comment. 14. High Elf - a True mage class is needed, and this can still be it. and yeah, did it this way since this was a 1 choice poll
  11. For me it has nothing to do with the armour or cleavage, I don't play games to look at a characters breasts. The seraphim is simply one of the most diverse characters which is why I enjoy playing one, caster, melee, technician (?) or hybrid, its all there. The problem with your wish for a new class to "shine" is that the only class that has a link between the different games (story wise) is the seraphim who is kind of the face of the sacred brand. Like gogo and daveo said, we will most likely see a seraphim along with the stereotypical caster, tank and ranged classes and then 1 or 2 "different" ideas which combine aspects from each stereotype. So you will get your caster, battlemage he/she will not be, but definitely a magician capable of dealing elemental damage of some sort I would assume. Haven't even finished reading the rest of the comments here, but these series of comments were absolutely hilarious!!
  12. http://www.diablofans.com/topic/86592-diablo-3-announced-for-playstation/ Now they will have competition from a title that is by far more popular than Sacred. The sad thing is that it seems as if Blizzard was listening to alot of the cries that us Couch Co-op'ers had. 4 Player Couch Co-op. Time for Sacred 3 to come up with some more details. Alot of us are already weary that they are taking away the exploration part from Sacred. Diablo has that. As mentioned the wording on some of the reviews of couch co-op are unclear. D3 has that covered. Familiarity to the game. S3 makers are not giving out full info, and D3 is already on PC. D3 has that. Besides being a hardcore Sacred fan what will make you choose it over D3..... Wait some of us are also weary that S3 isn't bringing back enough of what "Sacred" actual is, and feels like. Sacred world is looking really shakey now!!!
  13. No when I ran the test it was before crossing the wall, matter of fact my campaign progress was in the town south of where you get the Boneslicer questline (Thy.......) forgot the name but it has a coliseum in it and the sewers we use for shopping. The broken on PC thing I can't quite test
  14. Actually the bear Grows right at the area before you get to the teleport, I tried this in the reverse form as well and it worked in the same area, where the flying fairies are. In reverse = I already had access to that teleport, so I got the bear quest, teleported to that port and started back on the path south towards clearview, and within 10 seconds I get the message about the bear, saying that he's grown and appears to be more aggressive. Its cool because, this was a feature of the game to be able to have a tank that you had to luck up and find out about, but clearly by design.
  15. What is the animation time of spells? For example my fireball reads at 0.1 Regen, honestly. But the reality is that I my toon cant keep up a casting speed with the speed in which I can spam the button, so of course it can't actually cast at 0.1 sec Regen time. So that tells me that I'm losing some potential for power by not getting that regen number up around its "actual regen time", this I'm sure includes execution time, but I don't have a way to see what the actual time is. Same with BT which is around 0.6 sec Regen.
  16. Extreme disappointment as I Progress with my Pyro-Elf, come to fine out with GI buff and Constitution together is insanely OP'd. My PE right now is level 93 sitting at 17,500 HP mounted and around 16,900 unmounted. Remember when I was going through gold as I mention before, I was man handled by the mobs of the Nameless Guardian area, and the Guardians themselves gave me a good licking for 11 deaths. Well I took the time to do boss runs in gold until I reached around level 69 before I started to progress through Platinum, I don't know if it was the levels or the gear, but all of a sudden, platinum was a breeze for me, when before the extra levels I was drinking Health Potions like candy on regular trash mobs. I worked my way to the Orc Caves, remembering from a OLD OLD post I made saying something like "what is the fuss about this cave I farm it in silver no problem", someone said to me to just wait till I get into Plat, and Niob. OK, now I'm there, around level 72, I wanted to grind 3 levels out of it to get my first 3 masteries. I was extremely cautious so as soon as I darkened the door of the cave I've spam my Expulse magic and then BT them to death. Then one time I tried w/o Expulse magic, and it was even more efficient to me, they still couldn't hit me, I just go in the cave, sprint to the opening so that the BT could spread, lay 3 fast BT's and they normally were dead before they hit me. In 3 levels I got hit 1 time for like 6,500 damage, but that was my only scare. I was sitting at a total of around 11,000 HP at the time, but as I said before easy peasy. So I get to 80 (was having too much fun dominating the cave), and continue to progress through Platinum. Long story short, I breeze through every other trash mob of Platinum never using Ex. Magic, (but of course on bosses) and never die once, the same mobs that killed me before was a joke. And even started Niob, and just pushed through and killed the Kobold Chieftan, and again a joke. I was hoping for a harder transition as it was from my Gold to Plat. experience.
  17. Perfect, so teh last thing I need to check on is if Boneslicer is a normal Strength sword or a Short Sword. Otherwise my build should now look like.... Level Skills ASAP Points Max Points Order to Mastery 2 Devout Guardian Focus 5 110 3rd 3 Enhanced Perception 160 2nd 5 Tactics Lore 200 1st 8 Concentration 1 12 Armor Lore 75 5th 18 Sword Weapon 75 7th 25 Warding Energy Lore 75 4th 35 Toughness 75 6th 50 Source Warden Lore 75 9th 65 Source Warden Focus 75 8th Not even sure that I'm going to Master SW focus, depends on the feel, if I don't need extremely high suit levels for the buff, then I'll take 30 points from it to strengthen my WE Lore more, or DG focus to get more levels on my main buff, I'll have to go by feel when I get there. 3 Combat Alert - Eat as needed Mods (Barricade, Repair, Party) is the only Mod changes
  18. Also, this is a guess. but doesn't your shield have a total pool of damage that it can absorb? So for example if you were in a boss fight, when there is a large amount of damage, wouldn't you eat up your shield faster if it was closer to 100% absorption? OK... now this is getting interesting.. But at the same time adds another interesting skill to the mix. Just with how you worded your comment, and mentioning the sinergy between Toughness and Armor Lore. It would seem that based on your shield your savier, Combat Reflexes would be even more valuable if the combat table works the same as it would with other RPGs. Since CR adds avoidance to your character, in actuality it should come into effect on the combat table before your shield, because if you effectively avoid an attack, it should never even take a toll on your shield energy in the first place. Therefore giving your shield energy more sustainable life. Toughness on the other hand is a fail safe "AFTER" your shield energy has been depleted. But the question is, does it work with the same form of logic that I'm using? Come to think of it, knowing where your shield Energy lays in your TG's line of defense is key, for example when you think of the Armor Lore/Toughness combo, does that calculate before it hits your shield or after its depleted then it calculates.
  19. I know we don't have the Bar saying how much of the shield is left, in the same form as the rock boss, and the Guardians, but have you every seen when the shield flashes/refreshes its graphic on you, on the console. What is that indicating.
  20. Upon Further Reading, I'm thinking to get WeL I'm going to replace toughness, if I get enough shield energy it will negate the usefulness of Toughness anyway. It is said that you don't need Constitution if you are using 100% Warding Energy, but how do you achieve 100%?
  21. Nice the clarity you give on WEL was definately needed insight. I notice that your Genie in a bottle build... Bot in a bottle, is darn there 100 percent single target, since its based on normal weapon attacks, but with the goal build hs. I wanted the SW CA's mainly for the Area of Effect aspect of it, do you think it's worth it, as well has having a 2ndary buff, that's mainly the only reason that I picked a focus for it. As you can see I picked Untouchable Force to add more stun chance, not sure if its needed in boss gameplay but seems nice coming from a guy that cherishes stuns with his Pyro High Elf. And if I was to take WEL, what do you think would be worth dropping. I'm almost thinking of making this a 1 buff build, if UF buff isn't as strong as it seems on paper, I don't even care about the Gold mod on it actually. I don't have much Confidence in SW's Area of Effect skills from my low level attempts of using it were horrible in comparison to HE's Area of Effect, but I've heard that later is good. What you think? HMm, also noticed that you said you use Willpower to help with your Energy shield, but I didn't see any information that supports it as a helper to energy shields, what is the connection?
  22. U were right it was just some type of extreme lag to it, after I waited like 5 minutes with the loading screen up, the characters popped up, and then when I closed it down and tried it again, it ended up popping up faster. Wonder what is the cause?
  23. Strangely, I can't play Local Co-op? I log on to the PSN network, log into the game and can play single mode with no particular flaws (besides normal ps3 glitches), when attempting to sign in with a second user, the game allows them to pick which sub PS3 account they want to use, sign into the PSN network, but then when the small screen pops up to select which player they want to use, it doesn't display the characters on the account to be able to select them. And at that point you can't back out of the selection attempt so you have to completely quit game, and start over. Tried this using 5 different PS3 sub-accounts as being the host, on each and every account, all of the toons are on the accounts and usable in a single play, but the problem only occurs when attempting couch co-op. I can even join a public game that another person has created online. This makes the game unplayable for me atm, with my style I need my bargainers from my other accounts. Anyone know why is this, and what is its solution?
