The cold weather is rolling in to Texas, including further south to my area on Monday. The forecast is for a windchill under zero degrees, well-below freezing temperatures and lots of winter precipitation, sleet, freezing rain, and snow! It should warm back up a bit by next weekend. Snow and ice is rare (except for the panhandle and far north Texas) so that most folks don't know how to drive safely on ice and snow.

I was just so gung ho to get started and used to always having to install a patch that I didn't read page one. Are the Trimmed Elite Textures already included in PFP?

The instructions indicate, "PFP only requires the base game + Ice & Blood with the latest official patch 2.65.2 (or, in other words, Sacred 2 Gold from GOG or Steam)." It may be somewhat confusing to others as well, as the Community Patch might be thought of as "the latest official patch." So then, installing the GOG or Steam version already includes the patch? Do I need to reinstall the game and start a new character? Or should I "disable" the Patch? I haven't experienced any other unusual issues.

@Flix I recently downloaded the most recent Community Patch and then activated the Purist Fixpack with the Generic Mod Enabler. I am loving the graphics with the Trimmed Elite Textures and the improvements that have been so painstakingly undertaken. I noticed that the quest Suspicion doesn't trigger. The commander never offers the quest upon completion of the rat infestation.

dating => game The picture in the video is a fabrication. However, the video includes actual videos of real whirlpools. One is a huge and regularly occurring aquatic vortex which regularly appears off the coast of Norway. It is capable of swallowing full-size boats.

My daughter and I just finished watching The Polar Express on DVD. It's a yearly tradition. The first year it was released, we all went together. My parents treated us... her, me, and my wife. We have loved the movie and it has been a family tradition ever since that day. Merry Christmas, every one!

BBQ => leftovers! It's warm here in Texas. Tomorrow, it might get close to freezing on Christmas night. I'm enjoying time at home with family watching movies and creating things in the kitchen. Santa will be here soon!

delicious => melt in your mouth brisket I have one that's been cooking for over three hours now; it should be ready in just a few more. Life is good!

Rommel, since it's the Yuletide, I'll share a few of the other "special" spices in my rub... but, just for you. Everyone else, look away. Salt, pepper, Garlic powder... => Ground Mustard, Cumin, Curry, Smoked Paprika, Celery Salt, and Cayenne. That should get you some inspired, positive comments and a modicum of admiration. (Just don't forget to slow-cook the selected choice cuts (wrapped in aluminum foil or butcher paper) in a smoker at approximately 70°C for a minimum of three hours. (An oven will have to suffice in a pinch.)

^ That would be inadvisable, as there would be numerous conflicts. Just use the Trimmed Elite Textures. I recommend the Generic Mod Enabler to enable its functionality and you should be pleased with the results, indeed.
