Ah got it fixed thanks to Zuko77Elendil over at Steam where I asked the question too. http://steamcommunity.com/app/12320/discussions/0/558751660840985762/ I had to verify integrity of game cache in Steam and it downloaded 5 files it could not verify correctly... problem solved.

Greetings all, So I recently purchased Sacred Gold (on Steam) after playing it years ago to play it Multiplayer (LAN) this time. I got it all up and running and it is looking good, until I noticed there is no town npcs. The quest givers and important NPC's are standing around, but there is no Citizens or Farmers as there usually are in Single Player. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change to enable them?
