like fifteen years ago ...but community loves care and kindness and we got that
, and there's a few topics that have made it through last fifteen years *cough* Manga
It's funny because you weren't really into it back then.

There's a group of exceptional modders here who have worked with CM Patch and then Flix with his Diablo mod... it actually turns the entire game into a shiny new table top..monsters, CA's... easily one of the best mods in the world :thumbsup" and Dimitry has released his Addendum which is his way to appreciate the game almost error free and with some distinct new touch ups
I might give it a try, if I can get back into the graphics of the game... I've been playing PoE sometimes, but the endgame could be better. There's too many one-shot mechanics in that one. Waiting to see what they'll do with PoE 2.

I don't really follow youtubers so I don't know this channel, but I can agree that food in Japan is usually good. I have yet to eat in any place here and think "wow this is really bad, I can't eat this". Any place is average at worst. Only downside sometimes is that most non-Japanese food is Japanised to some extent. Pasta and pizza being the worst offenders lol. Again, it's not bad, just not what you would expect.

I already own a house here and plan to apply for citizenship in a few years.

lol nostalgia and floating around in Ogame "subspace" the four of us needing a new home and you insisting on Dark for this site's name
Hey, I was a teenager, it had to be edgy lol. Also I wanted Dark Tranquility, but had to compromise in the end.
I've been living in Japan for about 5 years. Watching anime made me want to learn Japanese. First got a scholarship to study here, and now I'm working as a computer programmer in Tokyo. If you asked me back then, I would have never guessed my future would be like this.
Didn't even know people still played Sacred. The Diablo mod seems kinda cool.

Some pantless dude told me to check this one out again, so here goes:
Looks like it hasn't really been covered yet, so I'll go a bit into movies that might not be usually mentioned, despite being really good.
The Garden of Words (言の葉の庭), by Shinkai Makoto (famous for Your Name, previously highest grossing anime movie). This movie has one of the most stunning visual representations of Tokyo. It has a relaxing pace, while focusing on deep emotional concepts. It keeps a perfect amount of delving into mundane life, without ever losing the viewer's interest. If you ever wished to spend a pleasant rainy day in this is it. Short, relaxing, pleasing, impactful. Topics are a bit mature, but you could watch it with kids if you wanted to.
Paprika (パプリカ), by Kon Satoshi (previously one of Japan's most promising animators, who sadly died early of cancer). Easiest way to describe it is "if Inception was an anime". There are lots of theories that Inception was inspired from this movie, and watching it you can see lots of similarities. The movie is colorful, full of action and with a powerful soundtrack by Hirasawa Susumu. The imagination runs wilder when compared to Inception, as animation allows more creative freedom. Has some minor undressed scenes, but not sexual. Safe to watch with kids if you consider that okay.
Grave of the Fireflies (火垂るの墓), by Studio Ghibli (most famous anime studio in Japan). Ghibli is well known for it's feel-good anime and it's not surprising that this is one of the less promoted works of theirs. This is one of the saddest movies ever made, but also one of the greatest. The movie focuses on the effect that war has on the average civilian population. I consider this to be the best anime I have ever seen, and the only anime that I can't watch for a second time. Do not watch this if you are in a rough period of your life, it will frak you up. Even if you are in a good state of mind, be aware that it might affect you for a few days after you finish it. Do not watch with kids, unless you want to make them cry.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc (ベルセルク 黄金時代篇), based on Miura Kentaro's manga. Berserk is an unfinished long-running manga, with a really slow-paced release rate. It is well knowns for its graphical violence and undressed, and despite its popularity, lack of decent anime adaptation. The Golden Age Arc is actually a series of 3 movies, that covers the most impactful part of the story. It is a faithful adaptation with the only bad part being questionable use of CGI. The first two movies are a bit more tame due to the story, but the third one takes everything up to 11, so be aware. All movies are M rated.- 1

Well to be honest I've always been more of a D2 fan than a Sacred fan and as long as the game is just as good as D2 was I'll be happy. I guess that somehow the thougth of having the same feeling as the old version appeals me more than having a completely different game. As such hopefully they wont bring in elements from WoW (which is a really bad game IMO) and keep it just like it was.
Eitherway I'm still looking forward to Sacred 2 as well and will play them both.
Also surely I can't be the only one that reinstalled D2 as soon as he heard the news, now can I?

Happy birthday Claire!
Hope you have a wonderful time.

And thus the llama population grows once more
Congratulations mate, those are big news indeed.
And I know it's kinda early, but have you started to think about a name for the little rascal?

Indy, in memory to your old nic's namesake...consider adding a smart looking fedorah to the current avatar?
Very snazzy

Aww, sorry to see that it didn't end quite as you planned it, but in the end all your past actions against his account makes you overall the clear winner of this fight.
Enjoy your newly gained free time in RL and continue putting as much effort into everything you do.
Respect to a great man.

Hmm, it seems I haven't posted in either of the too threads, though I know I was certain I posted this before, guess it was on the SIF.
When I was a kid I really liked the Indiana Jones movies and games. And so one day 8 years ago (I was 13 back then, though that's just a coincidence) I was creating my first e-mail account and somehow ended with dr_indy13, dr_indy being Indiana Jones related and 13 being my lucky number.
As time passed by interest in Indiana Jones began to wane and the nick kinda lost it's meaning eventually, at which point I dropped the dr_ part. Now whenever Indy13 is taken, or if I feel like it, I use DarkIndy13 as well as an alternative.

Well, I know I've been absent lately and it's time to explain why. At first I was somewhat busy with university stuff, but after that I went on vacation to Rome. Two lovely weeks in the eternal city which were really nice.
Now I'm back and I should get somewhat active again, though I still have uni stuff (read exams ).
And guess it would be nice of me to share some of my pictures from my vacation, so here are some of them. I might upload more, but picking the nicest ones out of 2000+ pictures is really tedious work so this bunch will have to do for now.
(also as I was writing this post some pics were still uploading so you might want to refresh later on if you opened the page right away).
P.s.: happy now, pantless french maid guy? >_<

Hoorah for google technology!
Well, lets face it, the wiki search is just... urghs... there are no nice words to say it, so lets just say it sucks, big time. I mean come on, usually if you don't search for the exact title of the page you are looking for then the odds of finding what you want are rather slim. There are even times when even if you enter the exact title in the search box, you will still receive a list of suggestion, with the exact page NOT being the first in the list >_<. Oh, and god forbid that you actually dare to make a typo. Wiki can't handle typos. Suggest a better search word? In wiki search? Never! Enjoy your never-ending search. [/rant]
Google search on the other hand can find what you're looking for with excellent precission, I know I always use google when I want to search for stuff on wikipedia, or even other wikis.
So once again, yay for a MAJOR improvement to the SacredWiki.

Looking at this thread and seeing how much this project has progressed in so little time... What can I say, you guys are doing an outstanding job at this!
I really like how the tables look and I'm looking forward to seeing this project done.
Keep up the good work guys!

Finally!
Gratz there Ike! Knew you'd pull it off in the end.
So what do you have in store for us next?
-
Eh? What's this? Oh, it's that time again.
Congratulations Gogo, you just got one whole year OLDER!
Hehe.
Err..
I mean...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOGO!

K, finally manage to place my contribution to the cause!
For D.a.r.k.!
Death to Ike and his minions! Rawr!

Uhm, you got it wrong there Erling. The news sections isn't Sacred 2 exclusive and the featured article isn't SU exclusive. Both of them have information related to SU AND Sacred 2. It might just not look as obvious at first glance.
-
LOL!!
Great idea Ike! This should be fun! Count me in!
-
At first I was "count white teams' passes, what's so hard?" And then I was like "wait, moonwalking bear, WTH!"
The video totally got me. >_<

Hi :)

To be honest, the amount of anime I've watched in the past years is rather low. Don't need to watch it when my life is now anime basically lol. Also either the quality has maybe gone down over the time, or there's some nostalgia factor into it.
Maybe I'll check it, I saw some mentions of texture packs and other improvements but didn't have time to read everything. Is there any quick guide to get the best installation options?
I have some Indian co-workers, so a bit similar. They like the bento as well for when they cook food. They say it's more convenient than having 2-3 boxes like they would usually do in India. I'm not sure if anyone tried marketing it yet.
Hmm... are you allergic to pets? lol
Not sure, I picked the image and made some tweaks, but yeah I think someone else made some adjustments as well.
Speaking of Schot, is he still around? How about Claire, Jun... uhm, Llama? Those I can remember from the top of my head.
