  2. I allways disable aero on win7, some other games have issues with aero running...
  3. Yes , that it is a plus too, some time my net don't work, so no problem to play something a couple of hours...
  4. I don't think it is too much trouble with gog version, I like the drm free version of any game...
  5. I have the gog vers too, to patch without your error you must first play 5 minutes without patch, save , and close Sacred 2, after that apply the patch, at least at me this I must do if I just installed Sacred 2, I think it is not all write in Windows registry, without save, this is for 140 patch too...
  6. See first post of this thread. CU Marcus Thank you, what a lost sheep I am sometimes, now I will test on gog version...
  7. Thank you, but where it is the download link of new cm patch?
  8. Do you have installed the Elite Texture for Sacred 2?
  9. The steam version it is not DRM free, the steam itself it is a DRM, although the steam version don't have the SecureROM DRM anymore, so yes , before that(Golde version), the game have 2 DRM(steam+SecureROM)...
  10. In short, the game you buy on gog.com don't have DRM, so you download, install and play, no need of internet or any kind of authentification to run the game, most of the game are old(like sacred 1 and 2, torchlight) , but are new too (witcher 3), from my experience most of game from gog run better than from other place (like steam); are cons and pros for this, I find that gog treats the people like customers, DRM treats customers like offenders, gog try to gain customers through this and the fact that offer a lot of additional content (soundrack of game, , cliparts of game, etc) and the fact it is not mandatory to have a client (like steam/origin/uplay), who will add a plus of wheight on pc resources when play, but those clients tend to add others bonus (steam trading cards, automatic update of game, etc); soon the gog will have a client too but will not be mandatory like it is at others, to run the game...most of new games and so call "AAA" rating tend to go only with DRM...
  11. Yes, until monday it is 8$ (60% off)...
  12. I wonder if the community patch work ok with gog version, I have steam version and work ok, but I want to escape of drm world(and steam client I find heavy)..
