  1. Hi As promised: The panty-party! Epox has - as a Satyr - a natural body hair which cant be really removed.... luckily Left ---> Csaszar Epox <---- Right
  2. Hi Yeah I m no friend of messing the ingame currency with real money. Every example I saw turned out somehow badly and I just hope Mythos could somehow handke it. To be honest I dont like the whole MMO concept: pay for the base game then pay a monthly fee for actually using the product you already bought. Mythos is free atm (and it will be free - after the Devs) but that "real money thing" is much more worse than asking us to pay for the release. On the other hand we saw what happened with Sacred: Ascaron followed the example set by D2 WITHOUT providing the support Blizzard did. The never repaired bugs, the "more problem than before" patches and the aging servers (which were the main reason of lag in MP) came partially from the no monthy fee and the whole "FREE MP" concept. I am no corporate manager or no sales director but its still hard to believe that selling so much copies of a game AND providing a "Free" multiplayer (closed servers) didnt brought the invested money back. Not to mention that in Sacred case the MP part was the best copy protection method. As a side note: my experience this far is that the monthly fee plus the free for all PvP attracts not the best possible players (there are ofc exceptions). Sacred - closed HC especially - were almost free of theese aspects and the gaming community evolved into somehting exceptionally fantastic thing - which would be IMHO never possible with other circumstances. Now my concerns reach Sacred 2 and I am not sure it will be the game we are waiting for that impatiently. Well lets hope the best .... As Oliver Cromwell said: "Trust in God and keep your gun powder dry"
  3. Hi A wholeheartedly welcome to our new member! Welcome Enci!! YaY
  4. Hi Somewhere in the near future a new patch wil come out for Mythos Beta. After the officials it will have a lot changes with several additions and balance issues. (Yes our beloved Gadgeters will be nerfed greatly for example) Some promises from the Devs: - increase the speed of leveling (for team play - while decreasing the solo xp value - actually this will be a severe slowing down in lvling - basicly a 5 man party will get even xp while soloing will lose the bonus to do it alone - this should cut level speeds more than half ) - overall thougher monsters - greatly increased difficulty at the epic maps - RESPEC - the ability to reallocate the already spent skill points (while its handy in a beta I think it will introduce problems for the "release" of the game. It will come with a high price ingame currency so basicly it will be an another feature that makes "the rich more richer") - and many more lesser or not mentioned changes. Well we will see. Sadly the game is slowly shifting towards to fulfill the needs of the "casual" players and more frighteningly the PvP lovers. The last group can ruin the overall fun faster than any bugs so the future of Mythos (IMHO) could be really endangered. The real money usage in the game is a dangerous idea too - however maybe it can be solved without ruining general gameplay. But enough of assumptions and lets wait patienly how things will work.
  5. Hi When I get home I will continue the "show your panties" picture series. This time together with Epox!! Hehe
  6. Hi Hehe wait till I manage to get the pants down ps.: In RL I have lil red hearts on my pants instead of dots.
  7. Hi Hey update the list! My CinderBabe is level 22 now lol Here is a pic about my very first Mythos char: Csasz the Gremlin Gadgeter - enjoying permanent holliday
  8. Hi :cha (18): It would be nice to make the player listing actualised! So fellow Darkies who ventured to this unexplored world... post your names!
  9. Hi :cha (18): OK Epox is on my friend list That 2 min I saw you was enough to do that
  10. Hi :cha (18): Obs: Strange. I am not doubting your abilities (ofc) so I must accept that personal preferance is even more important as I thought before! So I am adjusting my statement: Starting a Dark Elf with *some* advice from an already expert DE player *could* be one of the best chars to start with. A little help at start until you are comfortable with that guys isnt too impossible to get My ever first Sacred char was a Wood Elf. At that time MH worked as intended and ranged attaks could be started like spells - WE was my favorite. Today I find it tedious to play. Not hard - simply boring and tedious.
  11. Hi 25 (or 32) points in Riding is not that much but worths definitely 1000% more than waste it on trading or some other skill raising from 100 to 125. That would enable you ride the best horse AND would help with your non existent weapon related lore. And seriously .... trading .... eh forget
  12. Hi Obsession: Granted Dark Elf could be screwed by reading too much PM and/or Testosterone at the same time. But let me think it trough again.... ah yes that would need a few hundred runes to read. Dont really a starters problem I think Besides a level 20 PM supported by a level 20 Testo will get you till gold in no time + throw some leech to that and thats a safe ride. Wood Elf is good at producing extreeme damage but you need to wither give up crowd controll for that or recast a CA every 20 sec. And why should anyone seek more damage that 1 hit kills? Ranged WE is one of the most tedious char to play - at least for me. But definitely a classy and nice char.
  13. That doesnt sounded quite nice you know. Actually most my old chars 1hitted a niob level 230 Dragon. After a failed experiment (I wanted to show this to Katran but that damned Dragon lasted for 3 hits ) I reconstructed that particular glad to be able to do that. Best effect were produced this far by my Ettol Vamp who killed the two ice dragons with the same Attack Ca.
  14. Hi I am Glad you are building a magic seraphim Dave! my 2 cents would be to leave dual wielding and pick riding instead. Horses are a real blessing for magic seras improving not only their health points and defenses but aiding vthem in their magic. Every seraphim spells are augumented in horseback with faster casting time and quicker animation. Judging from my own experience Dual Wield and Weapon lore would be a waste to pick. Without concentration you wouldnt really able to use the melee possibilities. DW is a sure waste for a magic seraphim because no sword can give you thoose bonuses and possibilities what a good shield can grant you. Proto sword gives some crit and magic damage - Guild shield gives you bonus to all magic, 4 socket, meditation and magic lore bonus + spell regen. For example. For my own char I would drop trade too - but I know you are obsessed with that skill and true magic seraphim has 1 skill choice free so taking trade wont hurt you as much. With: Armor, Constitution, Meditation, Heavenly Magic, Magic Lore, Riding, Parry and Agility the char would be optimized but replacing Agility with Trade* could work too. *Talia Mel is a large set. Every piece except ammy, ring + wings are already occupied with it. There are sooo good uniq wings to choose from so there is noo need to actually trade for wings. Rings and jewelry can be traded with any char so you dont need to have trade on the char who would like to have them.
  15. Hi I agree with Therion more or less IMHO its not a bad thing to start with the strongest getting know the game then with the gained experience then exploring every available possibility. I prefer the Dark Elves. I always loved them. But I love Seraphims too. THey are soo sweet and fragile but in the same time can wreak havoc with a girlish smile - hehe . IMHO Wood Elves (altrough I have 2 niob ones) are finished. I enjoyed them really pre UW but now they are only shades of their former Glory - why? Sacred is all about inbalanced classes... why were lil WEs berfed to this point? Of course they are sheer power if they are played that way - but both ranged and magic one lost their real shine. A ranged attacks work atm is bad. Manageable but awkward and tedious compared how they worked till 1.7. And magic WEs. COTA cant be recasted now why:) They introduced Disc Demons who are at the start stronger than ever magic WE were AND can recast the discs. Dwarves are fun I love Dwarves. Glad could be fun too. Just they are either no fun with SJ or Fad or slow like hell without them. Or not but slow anyway. Now Battle Mages are really good. They mix danger and power and they affect your own adrenaline really good! One of my latest ladder char is a Meteor BM who *rocks* - hehe. And Daeoms Oh I love Daemons. As I already said EVERY char could be fun. Just starting with the *best* one could preserve the player to try the others. Maybe I am not right maybe I am.
  16. Hi Well when were given the opportunity to obtain keys for the german servers I started a brand new Dark Elf there. I didnt met there anyone I know so basicly I was alone with that char. No traders and more important no 3 other accounts with years of loot to aid the newcomer. I played him a few hours (5 to be exact) then we got busy with thoose RUNS and now I am not playing Sacred at all for the moment. But he got to level 51 and found several nice items. Maybe we could start some chars over at the german mates to show what FDM is btw: I played a bit Mythos lately. Guys it was sooo fantastic to be a Noob again! Sooo refreshing And its quite a nice little game.
  17. Hi "Best" char in UW? Ofc there is a best char! But first lets see the required bla bla: You should try to find the char that suits your playing style the best. Every possible char type holds the key to be "the best char for you". OKi end of bla bla .... ...... Let us see what makes someone "the best". - Are you Power hungry? You need very very high damage? = your natural choice should be the Dark Elf. - You desire awesome killing speed? Again your choice shoud be the Dark Elf. - You are after fun AND relative safety? The answer is the Dark Elf. - You want a definitely overpowered char? Choose Dark Elf. - You want to play with the MOST versatile char in game? Able to switch from the deadliest "direct attack" char to the most powerful "indirect" damage Dealer? (kinda "magic like" and melee char) Then you want to play with a Dark Elf. In short: every char excells in at least one field. Some of them are really good in more than on fields. Dark ELf knows and does everything Just a short summary: - DE buffs have the longest duration - DE has lotsa buffs - almost all his buffs are useful - has damage AND defense buff - has the BEST CA in game (Poison Mist) -- ok I know thats a personal preferance - but PM IS the best CA in game lol - best melee char (equal AR and DEF like Glads just much bigger damage, overall = simply better than any other melee char) - best indirect damage dealer - if you want to play him that way = the easyest to play char - one of the most durable chars - so overall he is THE BEST yay BUT and this is important: every char IS fun to play and every char could be incredibly strong. De just does things better and easyer than the others
  18. Hi For some time I think I will be away from Sacred (as I was at the last week). I started to play Mythos and Hellgate but thats not the cause... I simply need to be away from Sacred a bit to experience being noob again somewhere else The hardest part are you guys - I mean I miss you ofc but sooner or later I will be back again to hack and slash together with you again. One thing I must tell you all: I am playing Sacred from the beginning but I never met so great ppl like the fellowship. So to everyone (maybe there are some of you) who miss me: I will be back soon! Csaszar
