Great news! Enjoy it, have a walk and you may see things you've never saw before! I don't need glasses so far, but (to be honest) this time is not far away! reading on a long distance is difficult upto impossible. reading and gaming is ok. but I have to see what the doc says, probably the laser method could provide me from wearing glasses. on the other hand...my daughter is old enough to make me a grandpa and grandpas has got always glasses,?!

I got the demo of S1 on a CD in a gaming magazine (Gamestar). I don't know how often I play the seraphim to this cave, where the demo ends. love at first sight! bought the game at ebay (shame on me, no support for Ascaron at this point), the game only runs with a no-cd-crack on my system. but who cares in that times! found a community I will probably never find again and thought it wouldn't getting better. well...what a mistake! starting hardcore and it got better. then Sacred 2 was announced. man, I was excited. and the seraphim was still on duty! and...I was able to participate the beta test. "wet dreams" come true! Pre-oder the limited edition and never regret it. (ok, elite textures killed my dual graphic cards...again...who cares!) Remembering all the evenings where I just want to play an hour and never played a minute, but was bounded for hours in the lobby chat. *pling* "xy is entering your server" - "greetings, is the desert free?" celebrating a level-200-char! S1 brought me to Sacred, but the time with Sacred 2 on the HC-Server I will never forget!

for 1: was ist CTRL or Shift? I don't remember for Sacred, but a lot other games use Shift for range attacks.

unfortunatel is that the way of gaming communities. if a gaming series "dies" often also the communities dies also. that this site is still online and the community here is still active in the forum (big applause for that!) is hard to find. it is also hard to find a new game, that all of us like and play. I am playing titan quest with a closed group of people, after trying Grim Dawn (great game, unfotunately big technical problems at one of our group) and Van Helsing. other problem is sometimes the time zone. I tried to play Life is Feudal with some guys from here, but Canada and Germany doesn't match! drop in and out on servers is something that could be a pita in these days. these "communities" are the reason why I don't play Guild Wars 2 anymore...

the answer of podgie_bear is the best you can get. S1 and Sacred 2 are nearly the same for the game mechanics. the more runes you read, the better the spell, but the higher the regen time, which you can lower with another skill. in Sacred 2 it is easier to lower the regen time than in S1. @Flix: I remember this hint with starting in silver for S1 and Sacred 2 in the hardcore parts. but this was meant for "advanced" players who knows the mechanics and don't want to "waste" time.

she should give Dragons Dogma a chance (SP only)

there are so many references to so many kind of game/movie/comic/whatever culture...I guess/bet the developers did have all of this in mind

Sacred died with Ascaron! Sacred 3 /= Sacred (as we love it) For me I was a member of the Deep Silver Forum at that time and when I saw the first postings it was clear that it won't be a "Sacred" game.

the final cut version should be part I to III, if that's true it was a good deal. as far as we noticed it is the hole story, but only the chars available of the 3rd part. we have got some problems with joining a mp game, but found a way how it works for us

maybe...I don't remember it exactly. I know that I started my TQ career after the closing of the Sacred 2 Server. imho a "must play" for all who love Iso-ARPGs. I hope it will be included in x-mas-sale on steam! GoG Version is announced for next week

there is another new "addon" for TQ: Ragnarök only for the Annoversary Version. Out now on Steam (I am expecting it also on GoG). 19,99 €, probably still on promotion for 14,99€
