  1. Can someone please list the description for each upgrade of the fire demon. This is another CA that has different names on the 360 version... Power: Lively: Modesty: Thanks!
  2. can someone post a pic or at least some instructions on where to find the quest where you find this baby bear? also the "tame the bear quest" location would be cool as well
  3. My brother is at a level 50 dryad and while he has been getting some decent items (mainly for other characters) it seems like a lot of them are still only 3 stars. When exactly do you start getting some of ther best items and how high of a level do they go?
  4. I'm thinking about taking a risk and bypassing the "bargaining" skill with this build guide in hopes that I'll be able to find good sets and weapons from drops as well as trading with other people. Regardless of that though I'm a bit curious why you (Katran) have chosen "shield lore" for the HE. While I realize having a shield equipped will give defensive bonuses, that basically means you have to have a one handed weapon equipped and this character isnt really meant for melee combat. Wouldn't it be better to have the magic staff lore since the staffs will give bonuses to our main offensive abilities... magic? Either way, I suppose if I bypass bargaining I can then use that extra skill on"sword lore" to go along with "shield lore." But on the other hand if I went with the magic staff lore I could then bypass shield lore and then choose something else. I'd love to hear some opinions on this from some of the veteran players. Thanks! SS
  5. He does have "ranged skill weapon" unlocked, but has not added anything to it because this build guide says not to. Thank you for clearing up the level 75 thing. In the "Flame On" build guide it says to have three of my skills at level 75 first, but I'm wondering if thats really worth it now.
  6. Cool, well message me your GT or send my brother a friend request (Markis1)... he's using the same build. Here's a question... my brother is using this build guide and is at level 43 now I think. For whatever reasons the past 5 levels or so he's been having a lot of problems hitting enemies. I MEAN A LOT OF PROBLEMS! The Ranged Weapon skill would seem to help out, but it's not used in this guide. Anyone know whats wrong? Another question. I'm using the "Flame On" High Elf build guide, and it says I need to have three of my skills at level 75 before my character reaches level 75 to receiver some types of bonuses. What exactly are the bonuses? Also... does this go for every character (I.e. my brothers Dryad)?
  7. Will do. Thanks again for all your help.
  8. Alrighty... I think it finally makes sense now... thanks! As far as the slotting the runes, that does not effect regen times?
  9. Ahhh ok. I'm starting to get it a bit more now. So I definitely want to fill my buffs up right now. but what about my offensive CAs which aren't buffs? Someone told me I should just keep those at level one so I can keep fast recharge times.
  10. LoL. Ok. I've at least figured out how to do that. As long as I follow the focus abailities where it says maximum amount which can be used without penalty and dont go over that, I should be fine right? I guess what I'm curious about though is for my pyromancer CAs I have two buffs (demon and skin), so when it says I can use a maximum of 12 times without penalty are they talking about the amount of runes? Or the level I can be at for each specific CA? And also, is the 12 for both CAs combined? Or 12 for each?
  11. I'm not sure what you mean by when you say "ACTIVATE" a buff. Aren't the buffs already determined with each character? I already have all CAs unlocked, but I haven't read any other runes yet for them, so they've all only been "learned" once. Ugh... this is just too frustrating because my character is starting to struggle at level 25 and I have a feeling this is why. Right now the only skills that I have added points to are concentration, arrant pyromancer lore, and arrant pyromancer focus (all about level 20 I think). Hopefully someone who understands all of this with a 360 version can help me out, because I have the feeling this is simple and IO just need to be looking at the screen while someone explains it. Until then all help is appreciated. Thanks.
  12. Yes, without Focus, you can get up to about level 50 Combat Arts, at character level 200. If you're using Grand Invigoration, you can read as many runes as you find. It doesn't have penalties (but you won't gain much without Focus ) I'm using Katran's "Flame On" High Elf. I really have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to runes and Combat Arts though. From what I understand Incascent Skin, Flame Demon and Grand Invigoration are all buffs. But I still dont get how it all works. Someone else told me you should only have one buff activated at a time, or it will cause penalties. This is too confusing.
  13. I'm really confused on how using runes work with CAs and with buffs as well. I finally located the area where it shows you the amount which can be used without penalty. Do those raise up as you level up? Also, do the offensive Pyro CAs (like fireball, tempest, etc.) which I have only unlocked one level with the first rune count against the total? Or does a rune only count once you have used one to get a CA to level 2? Right now I've only learned each of my buffs twice because I'm really concerned its going to mess things up. I'm using the high elf. I've gone to the wiki guide but it really doesnt describe things in detail. If anyone has the 360 version and has an understanding of all this please send me a friend request. Storm Shadow M2 Thanks!
  14. Hey Bob what version are you playing? 360/PS3/PC? My brother is doing this same build if you're on the 360, you guys could probably help each other out a bit. Should I go with Armor Lore or Nature Hunter as my third skill to level up to 75 before my character hits level 75 to get the bonuses?
  15. Katran wrote: Ok the negative effect or reading runes is what can be called over reading. Simply your Arrant Pyromancer Focus and Delphic Arcania Focus give you a bonus of runes read without penalty. This mean that if Delphic Arcania Focus gives you lets say CA level without penalty 10. This says that your GI will let you read 10 runes of GI or a mix of runes and +CA gear to a total of 10. So once Grand Invigoration[GI] hits 10 every rune you read wont raze it by a level. the 11 rune you read will get it to 10.5 the 12 to 11 and after that will get worse and worse and it will take a ton of runes to read to get a level. This is one of the main rules in Sacred 2 and goes for all characters and CAs. Ooook. This is starting to come together a bit.
