This mod is scary: that damned perfect it is just like playing Diablo II all over again (only not at max. resolution of 480 x 640, thank whatever). Just one issue, though, and I am not certain whether this is linked to D2F or not, but installing D2F results in the Community Patch thinking that there is an updated version (of the CP) available ...and if you download the new (1.50 version), thinking it is just a minor revision with a version number which has not been updated, you will have v1.50 all over again, plus you will totally mess your installation up if you try to 'upgrade'; so (if I am not mistaken) if the CP updater says that a new version of the community patch is available after installing DF2, it should just be ignored (at the moment, at least).

Thanks, - much appreciated, - there are quite a few mod sites suffering similar problems with file links and it has resulted in a lot of lost mods, resources, and other valuable material. - I host on a private webhost server and for community work (for anyone needing it) (my contribution to the scene), so I am fortunate in not having to deal with those sites. I am also just in the process of updating the Community Patch from 01.50 to 1.50 (?), and then I am going to play your Diablo Fallen mod (which, quite honestly, looks pretty damned good). - I am interested to see what you have managed to integrate by way of Wardust's textures (I could not get them to work with our game), Enhanced Spells (which is a vast improvement on the original game spells), and Elite Mounts. In the process I will let you know if I encounter any conflicts between the latest version of the community patch and Diablo Fallen.

Does anyone from the modding side of things know where I can download a copy of S2RW.exe or S2rw.v1.7 (the Russian .res file reader for Sacred 2)? ...or is there a similar utility somewhere? - I remember Flix mentioning a publicly available global.res decoder in one of their posts, but I have not been able to locate that file, either (and resHacker, etc. don't work with Sacred 2 .res files). Please also accept my apologies if this is something we are not supposed to talk about on the forum (I have noticed that copies of the file for download seem to have disappeared from everywhere, including the Russian, Chinese and Japanese file sites).
