  1. The servers are all separate between platforms. As such, there is no way that cross platform gaming will ever occur. Additionally, I doubt PC players would play with console players considering consoles have a 4-player limitation and (for the 360 at least) voice chat, while PCs have 16 players and use mainly text.
  2. Can someone copy the information posted there to the Sacredwiki? Like the Empty Office guide? I'd hate to lose that....
  3. The very last Resurrection Monolith before the final area is very unsafe. I found that whenever I used it to load into a game, I'd be surrounded by 3 to 5 enemies trying to whomp my character. It was very unsettling, to say the least. As for the final fight, it's 1 at a time on Silver. They hit kind of hard, so get a couple hundred potions handy just to be safe. Also, move them away from the center of the room (preferably just outside of it) so they can't get their damage shield up.
  4. Hehe, oops. Ice Elves and Pyro Elves are both solid builds that operate and are built similarly. A build I ran before I got bored of my HE: (not necessarily in this order) Mystic Stormite Focus Mystic Stormite Lore Delphic Arcania Focus Ancient Magic Concentration Armor Lore Constitution Shield Lore Combat Discipline Delphic Arcania Lore It's an Ice/Magic build, but you can make it a Fire/Magic build by simply switching the Stormites with Pyromancers. If you like, you can drop Delphic Lore for something else and make a 1-element build (which is fine since you have Ancient Magic).
  5. Every class is quite capable of demolishing PvE. Common builds you'll see are: DW Seras DW SWs Shadow-Necromancer SWs DW Int Staff Dryads Ranged Dryads Melee TGs Melee/Source Warden TGs Fire HEs Ice HEs Inquisitors are a great class with strong melee and good Area of Effect (much like the TG), but their Shadow-only limitation and the tendency for people to go Light in multiplayer doesn't mix well. If you're desperate for someone to pick a class for you, any DW class is a solid choice, the easiest of which to build is a DW SW.
  6. I got my Ice HE to about 52 before I tired of both the playstyle and the way Glacial Thorns operates on consoles. As such, I'm going to try two melee builds and see how they work out. Advice and recommendations would be nice. (I'm really picky about the way things look on a list, so this is the order I'm choosing them in even if it's not ideal for the first 75 levels.) DW seraphim Shopper: Exalted Focus Tactics Lore Dual Wield Armor Lore Toughness Constitution Combat Reflexes Combat Discipline (or anything, really) Bargaining Enhanced Perception Antitrust's build on the forums with a minor change. I'm usually not one to flock to a common build, but I really love Dashing Alacrity. Devout Warden TG: Devout Focus Warden Focus Warden Lore Tactics Lore Armor Lore Toughness Constitution Concentration Combat Reflexes Combat Discipline I'm not a fan of 1-button builds (even though almost every build eventually becomes one late-game) so I'm trying this out to see if it meshes well. Thanks in advance. On a side note, I'm wondering if there are any other builds that aren't focused on one aspect? I find that I like how most classes play at lower levels, when they aren't developed enough to focus on one aspect. The result is that I'm constantly alternating between all aspects while the cooldowns between them finish. It's a much more enjoyable experience IMO, but I can't think of any viable late-game builds that would have that same feel (besides perhaps the Devout Warden TG mentioned above?). Any advice on that front?
  7. The clan is PC-EU, but there are a lot of new members who are likely 360-natives. Like me, for example. Fairly sure flamechamp is as well.
  8. (I play on the 360; not sure if the bug is 360-specific.) In Chapter 1 (Light Side), I got a quest called Battle Below Ground. The questgiver gave me three guard hirelings and asked me to go into a dungeon and kill 3 Liches. When I went to the dungeon, I found myself in a black abyss with no way to move and a single red health bar in the distance (which I promptly made disappear ). Eventually I found out that the only way to get out was to open the map and teleport elsewhere (the menus worked fine and the game was clearly not frozen... I was just stuck in the blackness). I gave up on the quest and went about my business, to find that the hirelings are complete morons whose sole goal in life is to run towards red and press A until something dies (usually them unless I popped pots). Eventually I stopped healing them because I tire of babysitting stupid NPCs. I figured, with them dead, the quest would be Failed and I would move on. So I Leave game until the next day. So I'm in Chapter 6 and the guys still greet me every time I start up the game and "Continue". Not even the grave is enough to stop these elves and their quest. I guess it's nice that I get three free hirelings who can't die whenever I want, but they're rather annoying and I still can't finish the quest (same blackness as before). Beautiful Bug or Putrid Plague?
  9. I went with the 360. IMO, the controller is better and the online support via XBL is more reliable. You should probably choose based on what platform you have and where your friends are going though.
  10. The game recommends Level 60 for Gold, 100(?) for Plat and 140 for Niob. However, if your build is strong enough it shouldn't matter if you go 10 or 20 levels earlier than that.
  11. Thanks for the advice. I did more research and gave up on the idea, mainly because I didn't like the way Arrant Pyromancer spells worked. Might try Ice/Lit down the road (since you need DA Focus to buff GI anyway), but for now I'm going full Ice. <3 Glacial Thorns.
  12. I see a lot of Fire-only and Ice-only HE builds, but no Dual-Element builds. Right now I'm making a Regen Fire/Ice HE and I was wondering if I could get some advice? Attributes: All into Stamina Skill Set: Concentration Combat Discipline Ancient Magic Arrant Pyromancer Focus Arrant Pyromancer Lore Mystic Stormite Focus Mystic Stormite Lore Armor Lore Constitution Spell Resistance (or something else?) I'm not a high level, but I like the build because the two elements chain together so well. Also, my Magic Coup regens quickly and does great damage because it's based mainly on my bow's damage. Grand Invigoration doesn't have a penalty either, so I don't have to worry about diminishing returns. My only worry is that I won't have enough Skill Points to raise all the Regen Skills and Lore/Focuses to a decent level. At level 200, do you get enough points to max all of your skills (or at least get them to 75?)? If not, how many do you get in total?
