    Pulled or torn back muscle

    It's still important to see a doc so he can check if its torn or just pulled!

    Some info if you need it :

     

    Depending on the severity of a muscle tear, an urgency and duration of treatment changes.

     

    A pulled muscle or a first degree tear can be easily treated at home with cold compresses and rest for a week, followed by progressive mobilization.

     

    A partially torn muscle is better treated by at least a primary care physician, who can assess the severity of the tear and decide upon a conservative or surgical treatment. Investigations, like X-rays, ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may be necessary for the assessment. Untreated partial tear can lead to a complete muscle tear, if neglected.

     

    A complete muscle tear should always be treated by an experienced surgeon, as it always requires operative management. The earlier the operation, the better results, because as time passes, more and more muscle tissue becomes dead. Delay in a surgery leads to progressive fibrosis (scarring) of the injured muscle, making it functionally useless. Hence a complete muscle tear should be taken as an emergency, and prompt hospitalization is a must.

    Yes, I know that Obelix used just his hands to chop firewood in the Asterix comics. We germans had a way better variant:

     

    A platoon of soldiers was ordered to chop a tree: 2 men with a saw the other 30 had to sit down in a row. When the tree was falling it hit all the heads and was splitted in half metre long fire wood. You never wondered why the old army helmets looked like:

    also quitting the smokes... not easy, but I will get used to it....

     

    If you want we can try to get level 200 in one week, then you'll have no time anymore to think about smoking, just thinking about green and orange pixels on your screen!

    Gaming and smoking are easily combinable, if you can smoke in the house (which I can) and are nimble enough to play with a smoking stick between your fingers

    Well, there's a kind of Patch fever going on now. The CM Patch has taken this game into some pretty exciting places, and there's a lot of people on the boards here now that have contributed wiki work and I think even some legendary stories ^^

     

    I'll see if I can pull up some links...but check this one for now, Essence of Dark Matters... we got our own item!

    I remember when you first chatted about the modding for this game so long ago, and you came up with the motto we put into the forum title... The future of Sacred 2!

    Good luck Furian,

     

    I however am a lost cause, been drinking heavily for 4 years now, it's been going better however with the new job & gf :sweating:

     

    Smoking however is just neccessary, it relieves my stress and even when I'm ill it helps me recover (also because if I'm sick and stop smoking for a day I get a nice free FEVER on top of it because of no nicotine intake)

     

    I know I'm the devil's advocate but hey, you only live once so why not take the best of it? :devil:

    like the new skin? A lot of changes eh? Are you playing any other games now, or think Sacred 2 with all the new CM Patch goodies could draw you back in?

    If I could game on my work I would, nowadays I head to the pub after work for one drink, then cook dinner & fall asleep with my gf on the phone or while watching some movie :whistle:

     

    In the weekend I play some World of Warcraft with the mates when we're not on some partey,

     

    Thinking of buying the Sacred 2 Gold when my first pay check arrives (only started working full time new job this month)
