I'm glad you took no offence Schot, it was only meant to be feedback Having saved up for this monitor it's nice to have everything at full-screen. It would be like having a sports car and then never getting above second gear

I love the new skin Schot but sadly it's a no-go for me The SIF and DA both have skins that are really cool but don't scale to widescreen. I still use the S1 skin at the SIF just because it makes everything more readable because it resizes to your screen. Sorry to criticise Schot cause this forum is awesome and I love what you guys have done for us This is how the darkness skin looks for me

The closed HC servers seem to have died a death lately I saw in another thread that some of the DARK players are moving to open.net with the CM patch, so was wondering if anybody is still playing closed HC? I'm taking a break from Sacred 2 for a while after overplaying it but want to come back at some point. I hope Sacred 2 has not run it's course and that all the players have moved on

The last CM we had over at the SIF said a definate no because there was nobody working on Sacred 2 anymore to test the CM patch It seems we may have a new CM on the way shortly, so it wouldn't hurt to ask the question again. A small number of dedicated servers would be so cool but I think there is very little chance tbh.

Oh dear, too late I'm not a fan of re-casting buffs anyway, it's one of the more annoying things that S1 had. It's probably best to master Concentration last then or maybe not bother to master it at all. Energy shield and battle aura would probaly be good enough on there own.

Thanks Woody. One more little question, if you take concentration instead of CR, would you still master it last? I'm not sure how useful the third buff would be in the earlier levels so maybe it could wait till the last.

Hiya Woody I finally got around to making one of these TG's following your excellent guide. Is there an order you would recommened taking the masteries? Damage first and armour later, or vice-versa? Thanks, Dobs

I got my email accounts hacked after downloading an app to my Android phone. It sounds very similar to your problem Furian. As suggested, changing the passwords for the accounts cured the problem. Since then I've been very careful about downloading apps, your phone can hold some very personal information and is way more open than your PC

Just to clarify, does the version actually show up as 2.65.2 when you run Sacred 2 in win7? Yes it does. Have you modded the sacred2.exe for Largeaddressawareness (Memory 4GB Patch), by any chance? You can also check up if all your Sacred 2 registry keys are present and correct. Yes I have czevak, bet thats it. Thanks for the help totally forgot about that I've revoked the licence now and am doing a fresh install up to 2.65.2. Fingers crossed it all goes smooth

After using XP for the last year and now finally getting Sacred 2 to work with Win 7(thnx Loco), there is one more little problem I need to get sorted. My Sacred 2 version still shows as 2.65.1 which means I still get the annoying chat bug Downloading the 2.65.2 patch gives a wrong version error upon installation. Is there something obvious I'm missing here? Hadn't even noticed that this win7 install is on the old patch

I love this mod for casters(apart from the HE), it can make you much more powerful. If there is a spell/CA you like to use but it just doesn't do enough damage even with loads of niob WHET, then try adding lots of chance to half regen and increasing CA level as high as you can. With a few sockets you can easily get 80%+. Lots of rare/set armour also has it built in so it's easy to get high ammounts. HRT(half regen time) doesn't get diminishing returns like deathblow so 100% is very easy to get with a niob shopper buying your jewellery. My ping pong TG has about 80% HRT which allows him to spam a high level Amplified Discharge every 0.7 seconds(instead of 1.4). That makes a huge differnce in his DPS. In the swamp he is awesome I'm not sure how much use it would be at higher levels though, I chatted to Gogo about this and I think he may be right

Loco you are me hero Sacred 2 is now playing on win7 64 for hours on all settings max in 1920x1200. The big help was the 4gb patch and changing the memory settings to half the default values. It now plays better on win7 than XP. Thankyou sooooo much, I cannot tell you how much you made my day

Thanks Loco, sorry if we discussed this before my memory is not good I'll have another go after work tonight and try some of the things you suggested. The 4gb patch is a new one to me, haven't patch or reinstalled the game for a long time now. A link would be very helpful but I'll see if I can find it later. I'd love to know how you worked around it Loco? AFAIK I've tried every fix there is but still with no luck My system is very similar to yours aside from the processer and GPU but it will never play for long without frezzing up. XP is bugging me now and I long to be able to use Win 7 again.

Win 7 64 bit is hit and miss wether it will work for you with Sacred 2. For some it works well and for others you are lucky if you get 10 minutes before it freezes. I hope that it works fine for you

Guardians is the only place I've ever found them. Found lots of other unique jewelery from other types but only ever had them from the guards.

I'd love to know the secret too The only one I found has been lent to the llama but you are more than welcome to have it if you can master the forgotten call of the Ancient Spitting Sewer Llama

Oh no Woody as r00 said, I cannot imagine losing a toon that high level. It shows your spirit that you are already starting a new one.

I just killed the chieftain and had it all set up but the game saved the quest completed when I exited. On reloading it was completed. It's been ages since I played SP, do I need to alt-F4 the game so it doesn't save? If so then this is going to take a very long time.
