Pokemon Go - anyone already made it to the Darwinawards?
cyclops replied to chattius's topic in New Games General Discussion
I also joined the Pokemon Go bandwagon but I don't play it like a zombie. I didn't change my regular route going to work. I make do with what pokestop I encounter and I've had to run away from many pokemons because I don't like playing it when there is too many people around. But I don't see myself playing it for a long time. -
I joined a small alliance currently ranked 84th. No combat ships yet except for 5 LFs.

What's the weather like over there?
cyclops replied to tomi's topic in The Daily Grind: Real life right here!
Coldest morning of the winter so far. 0.3 C becoming -2.2 C due to wind chill. The car had a layer of frost. First time I've experienced it here in Sydney. -
Getting lucky on the colonies so far. First had 207 fields and the second had 234. Just concentrating on mines and research atm because of limited playtime.

It's still a no graphics game right? About how much a year are they hoping to pull in from someone who wants to pay to play? gogo There is some color now unlike the predominately white on blue years ago. The ingame currency called dark matter isnt cheap. Lowest package is $4.99 for 40,000 all the way up to $99.99 for 1,600,000.

First colony ship on the way. Took longer than usual because I'm only playing a few hours a day and nothing on weekends. Hoping for a 200 plus colony

It's more of a curiosity at the moment but who knows what the future has in store.

There's no govt subsidy for day cares in Australia? gogo There is a 50% government subsidy if you are a permanent resident or a citizen but limited to usually 50 hours per week. We're qualified for the subsidy because both me and wifey are working. The $100 is the full price if you're not qualified or you get over the 50 hours limit. Healthcare subsidy here in Australia is quite good. The only problem are these people taking advantage of the system. -

Yes chattius my baby is on daycare Monday to Friday. Not really cheap at around $100 per day but at least me and my wife can both work. It's a very good daycare and no need to prepare food for the baby because it's all inclusive. -
Hmmm left the game open before I left the office at 5 PM yesterday and now it's 8:30 AM and my game session didn't even time out. Also played the game for well over a year and almost got in trouble at work because of it. lol

Game of Thrones (Beware, may contain heart-breaking spoilers)

Saw the teaser for the Battle of the Barstewards! and looks like Jon's cavalry and footmen are taking a beating from Ramsay's archers and pikemen. -
I know this isn't going to last long but reading my battle reports made me reminisce so for old times sake I registered in Universe Unity using my old IGN of Cyclops. The game definitely looks better but too money driven now. As with most games nowadays you can buy yourself to the top. I'm sure there are still skillful players but he would be no match to a skillful player with deep pockets.

Hi Knuckles. Same here only played D3 for a few months. Did play a few multiplayer sessions with gogo @gogo not really playing any PC games at the moment. Don't have time because of the baby. I was playing a couple of mobile games before but not much now since we still don't have internet in the new house. The place I moved into is a new suburb so internet facilities are still being constructed. They said it will be finished July or August. PS Updated my profile pic -

Hi gogo You can say my journey to Australia is complete. My baby girl was born last year and just a month ago purchased our own house after renting for 7 years. Are you still playing D3? Is there still a Dark sponsored game? -

Hello guys it's been a long time since I've have been active here so I'm sure a lot of you don't know me and vice versa. For the old timers especially gogo and schot I hope you read this. As the title I'm already an Australian Citizen since last week. Almost 5 years to the day since my first arrival here in Sydney. Im also working in my field now (QA at a milk manufacturing factory) and wifey has almost completed her post graduate ECG course so things are looking very good instead. I have not been playing any PC games since Diablo 3 due to busy work schedule. But I'm playing an iPhone/iPad game called Book of Heroes were I also happen to be a moderator. If you guys have time you might want to check it out. My IGN there is Celestial Cavalier. This is all for now. Regards Jun PS I forgot to post pictures here so have not posted my ceremony pic.

Hello guys I need some advise here. Earlier I just received an email from my manager if I'm OK to change my work sked from the current Monday to Friday to a Sunday to Thursday due to some changes in the priority of the projects I'm doing. The email was actually quite polite but I was ticked off a bit when one of my colleague asked me what my decision was. I asked him how did he know and he said the supervisor was already assuming I would accept the offer and was already scouting around for someone to takeover my Friday sked. I reviewed my contract and while nothing was mentioned there that I should be working Monday to Friday during all my interviews and during the contract signing the "word of mouth" was always I would be working on those said days. So my question is if ever I decide not to accept that offer can they say they have the legal prerogative to have my schedule changed?

Time To Play! Diablo 3 Servers
cyclops replied to gogoblender's topic in Diablo 3 General Discussion
This is getting frustrating!! The other day I wanted to play but the server was offline; yesterday I was too tired to even open the laptop and now that I have a lot of time this "patch" which is supposed to download automatically is not downloading. :gun2: -
Playing Softcore or Hardcore for Diablo 3?
cyclops replied to Knuckles's topic in Diablo 3 General Discussion
Playing softcore for now and I can't believe I died at level 9 and twice more before reaching level 15. Maybe I was rushing too much because my playtime is quite limited right now due to my wife. She's getting a bit upset I'm not spending more time with her. -
