  1. Thank you for the instructions, I will give them a try and let you know the results.
  2. Can anyone help me? I found on the internet a save file for Sacred 2, all characters at level 200. I have included a screen shot of the fliles that were unzipped, but now I am at a loss to where to put these files into my sacred 2 gold game. And will I have to have nothingi n my hero chest. I think this could be so, but want to make sure and hope that somone will recognise the files and know where I need to put them. My game is part of GOG Galaxy that has it's own folder and there is one marked inside it called games and the two games that I have with GOG are. Sacred 2 Gold and Bioshock Remastered. Inside the sacred 2 gold game folder are many subfolders, like scripts etc. So I will need to know which of the sub folders that I need to put the files in and how will know that it has worked? I have never used saved files for a PC game before, please no jargon if you can avoid it, I am learning disabled, soo please try and keep your instructions clear and simple, where possible. Thank you all in advance.
  3. A belated but Happy Birthday to you Bondbug. May all of your derams and wishes come true for you. My birthday has been and gone it was feb 26th I'm 51 and hoping to live to be 151, if I should live any longer than that, it will be fantastic.
  4. The Journals of Freya Entry One Dear Journal, I have finished talking to my tutor who was sadly killed by two Inquisitor Guardsmen. I killed them before they could get a chance to kill me first. I then stopped off for much needed supplies and I got back to my journey, I am to find the High Elves, which I intend to do, but life is not all about killing enemies, be they are human, animal or not. I want to be able to enjoy my journey too and that I do intend to do so. I walked by the way to the Quarry and discovered a mine that is blocked up, which is a pity, I want to know what sorts of treasure lay within it, the enemies will be either bat or rats, or both with humans to fight too. I know it is not much to look at, but I simply wanted to share this place with you
  5. There is some Vangelian like influences and also the music is very much similar to Enigma. Here is a link to what I am curently posting on YouTube and an old favourite of my own, that I feel captures the very essence of Jean Michel Jarre. Link 1: Sentient. Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0y7e4sGon10 Link 2: Lucid Dreaming. Part 4:
  6. Fair point, I did try to do a unique dungeon level build, not a continuation of my Azra-Za-Ha project, something truly completely different, what I had done was not working out tersm of the rooms not all being of the same hieght, one room was a bit smaller, but making it taller, made it not look quite right, at least to me, but I am going to try it again, because I liked the bridge that I had made, it was unique and yes I can make it again, it's just a matter of me figuring out how to get what I am imagining for it to work in Sketchup.
  7. Does anyone know how I delete topics on here? Anyone? I wish to delete my Dryad build post, simply because there is no one commenting on that post and the whole point of the post was to gage and gain recations, thoughts etc. from other members here, if no one is really interested, then it's a complete waste of my time, I am sorry to say for me going to all of the effort etc. of making the post. If posts are not deleteable, then I will leave that post unfinished, sorry to all in advance, I truly just want to be not only part of a community but have interactions with my fellow communinity members and they in turn have interactions with me. I know that I do not respond to every topic on here myself, though when one catches my interest, I take part and participate in that post. I hope it is safe to say that we all have different things of interest, also that is not easy to know sometimes how to engage others in a particualr intrest. For the most part I want to be able to post topics that gain interest and yes not everyone is going to be interested and that is okay, but to have a post where no one other than showing a like, is not leaving a comment however. While that is okay too, I hope that you maybe able to understand when I say, sadly that, that does not help me with my posts. I hope it is at least fair of me to say that?

You are most welcome, indeed; I am happy to be of service.

  8. Thank you Steve, I know what you mean, sorry it's my fault for not explaining the windows properly, they are merely to look near similar to portholes, though not being exact, since the house is not underwater. If I was going for a more true nautical aspect, the manor house would have been underwater and not on a high raised platform. A lot of manor houses have large swimming pools and my idea was, what if the house itself was part of gaint sized like swimming pool, again, not an exact one, since I was trying to copy that image I had mentioned and keep my over all model as near as possible to that. You mentioned about the house being atop of concrete pillars? Did you have a specific style in mind? I ask most sincerely, also I am a little bit confused, the house opf my model is atop of concrete pillars, just that they bear a near similar coarl like design, as near to it I could get at the time, if I were to make a different model out at sea, I would spend as much time as possible getting more realistic coral looking stone textures and in full HD. I only semi rec ently desicovered that HD textures work better and do not blurr, like most other textures do, depending on the size of the model. I expereimented, the larger a model is, the textures become more blurred, why I do not know. HD Textures are more clear and with the inbuilt image editor of the paint tool of SketchUp, I can fine tune the textures if there should be any blurring. In short, I get a more better and clear texture results, so using HD textures for me is the way to go, for the most part at least. Oh, I just had an idea, would you like for the platform to have an unusual shape? more unsual than one used for my model here? I can make the building very different too and I gladly welcome any creativie input/suggestions from you. You have my word, I will do that model for definitely, it will be some time after I have finished doing my model city, it's a 3rd way or so complete, currently. I am just putting in all of those rural houses that I mentioned there is a school, a library, a hospital and a few store fronts so far. There are no skyscrapers at yet, but there will be once I have the whole city model completed, it's a slow process putting in the buildings, (other models, store fronts, the hosptital) The house, which I duplicate to get a row of houses with, I made myself and the library. Anway, thank you for your suggestions, they are beyond appreciated.
  9. Thank you for the reply Steve, much appreciated, the windows/portholes are obviously much larger than they would be on a ship, because this is a house, though there are some smaller ones, they do vary in size and maybe it was the colour scheme I used at the time to indicate areas of the house where the ligths were switched on and where they were switched off, hence the yellow and grey textures that were used, well it's silver the texture and not so much grey, but I did not have back then a better glass texture, now I do, that said, I did not want to change too much of the original model in a way that would take away the uniquness of it, if you know what I mean? I do not know if it possible to get a lit glass type of texture to make a building appear to be more realistic if having lights on of the building, but I will look into that sometime, I wanted to keep the windows near simplistic due to the complity of the over all model, working out how I was going to make the high raised platform on which the house is built apon, I actually went for a large pool like area yet have the shape of it to imitate the shape of the platform, so to speak, but basically having a pool was easier for me to do that rather than I try to do a different landscape for the model. Though I did try to see if I could do an ampty chasm of a sort, that did not work out and more to the point, I did not have the textures for it, not that would have been a problem, but once I had the idea of a water filled landscape, I knew that the windows of the buildign were going to be circular, rather than the standard square/rectangle shape of windows for buildings. Which is most commonly used, I chose a near coral like texture for the pannel of the inner barrier, a blueish brick like colour on the outer barrier and another near coral like texture for the surrounding landscape, in my mind at all times I was thinking of a sea theme, not sea side, out at sea in the midle of the ocean, like an oil rig. But instead, a house. For me personally the most creative aspect of the model was the door handle and the lock bolts going through it. I am not all too sure if the shape/symbol of the lock looks similar to some form of an ancient symbol or not, nor does it really matter, I knew that I was never going to repeat that particular door in any other model, thank you for saying my work is unique I appreciate that beyond mention. Much sincere respects to you.
  10. Thank you for asking Steve, how are you doing? It's been a while since I have seen you on here. I once, a very long time ago came by chance an image of a 3D sci-fi art, with two buildings and a walkway similar to what I made in Sketchup, but in all honestly I can't seem to find that same image, I had it once on a computer of mine that I backed up the image to be kept on a portable hardrive, sad to say, it got corupted, the only way to save it was to reformat it, as I did not have the financial means to take the portable hard drive to be taken into a computer repair shop to recover everything that was on it. The main building to the left in the original image looked like some sort of a futuristic observratory, that is the only best way I describe it to you. Originally I wanted try and make the same thing for myself in sketchup, both buildings were of an odd shape, but they were perfect for the sci-fi feeel of things, with the walk way going across a lovely casam that was below, with a section of that walkway broken near to the end of it. When I could not replicate the image, I decided to go with my own unique design instead, the door handle/symbol was inspired by something almost like it, but not quite from an original XBOX Game called Myst III and in that game there was a bulding with a door with a similar design and I thought, that was too cool not to use it, though my design is not an exact copy of it, it's my own take on it and also from what I remember about that door, as I no longer have that particular game anymore. So my memory was vague anyway to start off with, but that did not matter, as I liked what I had made and it's possible that there will never be a door design quite like the one I made, even the way it locks is unique, well I hope it is. I went for a both futuristic design but with a nautical aspect too, hence the port holes of the building etc. Over all, the manor house at least remains, even though that image I once saw, no longer does. I am beyond grateful to have the original model, so that I could add to it and make it much better than before, without changing too much of it.
  11. Thanks, did you actually notice the underwater secret base and the lift that goes down to it? (All New Manor House) You said you would have liked to have seen something like that and I totally agree, hence why I added the aditional lift and sub-base. I hope you like them? Thanks for the suggestion by the way, I could not have added those particualr additional features without your comment about something like that. So you actually inspired me. So, many thanks for that.
  12. This subject has been briefly talked about in replies to comments made in the Sacred 2 Sacred Hall Of The Temple Guardian 2. But I thought that it would be a good idea that I share the model in full 3D here, first the original one: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/258a2f981026a0c66146f4637eaf43fa/The-Futuristic-Manor-House And the All New Version: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/88db93aa-10b9-4aab-98c8-da7953c9a789/All-New-Futuristic-Manor-House
  13. Oh I can do compicated sometimes, I am a dreamer too, sometimes a bit of a practical one, but not always. I am a go with the flow kind of person, so if what I am doing is complicated, I will go with that, if it is simple, I will go with that too. Though not both at the same time. *Lol* Anyway, keep on dreaming and I hope theat they are always happy ones, big or small.
  14. Ben I hope you are well, there has been a lot of cold and flu viral infections going around. Also not to worry about completing the Huntress project, please forgive me what I had said before, I got way too eger. If you have other projects that you have made a start on, do those. My possible character ideas are simply just that, ideas. While I would truly love to see them come into being actual playable characters, I do realise that it would mean changing not just one character for another, but also that it must take lots of coding to change the combat arts and ontop of that I figured that you would need to make sure that the runes for the character get dropped and are also sold via Rune Merchants.

I do not doubt for one moment that all of that is not easy work to do. Please accept my most sicnere apology.

Hello and apologies for my lack of response/updates.  I think it unfair of me to offer something and then not deliver on it; I just can't seem to muster up the enthusiasm I had before.  There are some personal struggles going on right now, and while I do continue to tweak my own mods (just to keep myself occupied), the prospect of making a whole new character seems almost like too overwhelming of a project to start.  I don't want you to have to wait in perpetual uncertainty, wondering and wishing.  Maybe we can just keep the character in the realm of imagination for now, and enjoy the fantasy?

      Best wishes,

      Ben

I am so sorry to hear about your troubles Ben, sincerely so and I can well imagine how overwhelming doing all of that can be. If creating a character and coding for that character were easier all around to do, that would be beneficial to all I feel, rather for one character to take months etc. to fully develop, it takes a few weeks, maybe more to take into account nay bug issues. I would no more than one month at the outsde most.

Which is probably unrealisitic, but one can dream. I perfectly understand your situations, I have personal things going on with my life too, but I do things to help take my mind off all of that, as it's all that I can do. I know that your situation is very different from mine, but I would like to say, keep doing what you are already doing to help make your life a little easier. I am not going to say don't give up, trust me I try that all of the time and sometimes it is not always as easy as others seem  to think it to be, but they do not know me or about my situation, even if they did, chances are that they may not fully be able to understand it. All you can do is your best and no one can do any better than that and that is what I do, I do my best, as it's literally all that I can do.

      Much respects and understandings.

      Amy.

  15. Before I forget, which I did before in my prevous reply to you. I am beyond happy that my work is of inspiration to you. That is always my hope when I share my models, that they will inspire other people, either in Sketchup, Minecraft or with some other form of 3D Modelling platform. I use Sketchup simply because personally for me, it is the only one truly easy to learn, unlike other ones that say that they are easy, I have tried them and they are not easy to me. To alter a quote, what is one man's easy, is another mans difficult. (One man's wine quote) I have changed it to simply demonstarte that what is easy for one person does not always mean that it is easy for another person. I am glad that you like my Tomb Raider Pyramids. The way you described the lock seems complicated, not that I am saying that my idea is better, the beauty of that model is that anyone can imagine how the door unlocks and that is all that matters to me. I am currently working on a city, I hade made one before and upladed it to sketchup, but when I checked it over I saw a few mistakes, like a few faces of buildings I had completely forgotten to texture among other things, but I won't go into too much detail about that as it's not relivent to the post, nore is the fact of how and why I could not alter it, just trust that I could not do anything to change the mistake and that I know how and why, but it meant having to make a whole new city from scratch and deleting that model from the Sketchup Warehouse. Maria City was the name of my model city and that is what I am making with a different city map layout to the one I had used for the original city, again, I had not kept that image.
  16. One more thank you is in order. Last night, I was looking at your futuristic manor build, and I realized something that totally changed the way I play Rising World. The manor itself is nice, but in my eyes, a building of that nature would require one of those sci-fi hermetic doors. Now that you have mentioned it, it possibly could be one, a hermetic door, because looking at it, as I have just done so and I include an image of that door here, the way it is locked. (See Image Below) The lock is unusual I know, it is turnable, but only turning it a certain way in a certain sequence will the door actually unlock. But how does the door open? The more I think about it the cross section is a set of cleverly disguised locking bolts that seal the door in place, they slide away and the door slides upwards, because that would be so cool if it did, as usual sci-fi sliding doors always slide sideways. What do you think? I do have permission to use this picture, as it's a prototype for one of my hotels. Anyway, that's not a big deal. To help everyone know what we are both talking about, below is an image of that futuristic manor model. But the building isn't what gave me inspiration, it's the fact that you used water instead of a lawn. My biggest challenge with Rising World was roads, driveways, and garages. It's sometimes hard to gauge that stuff, being that we don't have vehicles to do proper spatial comparisons with. I do have a prototype of a highway, which I'm proud of. Actually I was trying to imitate/copy from an image I once came by and I wished I had kept it, simply because I can’t find the dam thing again, it was a futuristic building, with a platform, the entire building was set high up with a shear drop into a pit, the building was two buildings, the one to the left looked a little bit more like some sort of a futuristic looking observatory, as best as I can describe it at least, I could not quite make my buildings be the same shapes as the original ones of that image. So I did my own design. You will have noticed that I have changed the manor house slightly. Original design link: https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/258a2f981026a0c66146f4637eaf43fa/The-Futuristic-Manor-House Now the overhead walk way looks better than what I had originally done. But this thing takes so much work. But do you know what we do have? Motorboats! It never dawned on me to build any, as I'm usually too busy building to go for a little cruise out in an ocean. But if I turn my highway into a waterway, that answers so many questions for me! I know we're getting more vehicles in time, but I've waited five years for them, which put all my blueprints of houses with attached garages on hold. But now, instead of highway and driveways, I can put a little channel in, and I'm good to go. Bam, the way I build in the game has totally been changed, and it's all because of inspiration I had while looking at one of your blueprints. Thank you. My waterway prototype isn’t too impressive yet, as I've only worked on it for the last 15 minutes or so, but here it is so far: Thank you for sharing all of that information with me and the images too, it is much appreciated.
  17. It is okay Gogo, I still appreciated the comment. So, no worries. *Hugs*
  18. I am happy to hear that my models are well liked, that is the important thing for me, your comment made me smile, lots, so, thank you for that, it sure made my day.
  19. So sorry for the delay in my reply. Thank you, much appreciated that you liked my 3D models so much that you wanted to use them, that is what I post them for the Sketchup Warehouse, for others to use, any way they wish, all I ask is not to forget to give me a mention, since it is my work. Beyond this, I am not overtly too possessive of my work. I am glad that you both liked the Land Resort and the Dungeon Of Moxdoon. I am creating anothre dungeon level as I type this message, but this one is going to be so very different, I had tried once this before with the Azra-Zah dungeon level design, but no one took to it, so I hoping that with the one that I am doing will entice the people better, plus it premote free form, any design, any idea, any shaped room, any type of dungeion doors or portals to add on to the model that I have already made, so that it can expand and be the largest if not the worlds most largest, dungeon design project. It will be at least for everyone who can model to join in and do their own thing. The only thing that I wish and is required from everyone, who does add onto my dungeon level to give me credit and also mention that the name of the dungeon belongs to me, as since I named it. They do not have to do that, but it is asked out of genuine respect, as I would respect them and their own work in return.
  20. Thank you Gogo, you are so nice. I appreciate that beyond mention.
  21. Hello AvidElf and hello to everyone else too. I had introduced myself in a seperate post, but I really should have introduced myself here first, but at the time, my mind was on other things. But at long last I know what to say and I hope it is not too late to introduce myself here? I am SheHawk, I live in the UK, in the North West, Lancashire and in a little village called Kirkham, which is near to Preston City. I like and love Sacred 2 so much, that I have the game for my PS3, my XBOX 360 and the Sacred 2 Gold Edition, bought from GOG.com I have Sacred, but I am yet to play it one day, the second game is keeping me happily busy, learning stuff from it all of the time, but this unfortunately has required either starting from scratch or from a back up save file on my USB Drive. There have been a few moments, where I have had to start completely from scratch, which means, nothing in the Hero Chest 0 Gold and no saved character. Which is actually part of the reason of; how and why I have been playing the game for more than 8 years now. (See New To Sacred 2 PC post) I have discovered so much and I have of the past year discovered a better way to mod out the weapons and armour, but this is an on going trial, I can safely say this, so far it looks very promissing, if this succeeds, I will definitely share that here for everyone. While I am not new here, like I have said, originally, when I first joined, I had no idea what to say, my mind was on other stuff, then I simply forgot about introducing myself for a time, saw a post from here, but did not introduce myself then, simply because I was not well at the time, when I was well, silly me had forgotten again about this post until today when I got a notification in my email, hence why I am indroducing myself now, sorry in advance to all here.
  22. Wow! Thank you for the hugs. *Hugs* to you too from me. I have made many other posts, you might like the concept character of Huntress, a cat woman species, she was my very first idea for a possible playble character for Sacred 2. I will follow you and you are free to follow me too. May we meet again for when our paths join together and be as one.
  23. You are most welcome Jayce and you have a very interesting way at looking at things. All and anything is possible, I keep an open mind. because what was once known as fact, can so easily not be fact in the possible future. Example, a very long time ago, man could not fly and yet here we are flying, not quite like superman, but at least we can travel in machines that can fly, but tell tha to a person back in the day a man could not and you would be considered crazy. So many things change, I accept the many changes, I embrace every new experiences, there is more to life that is for sure, but I hope it is safe to say that no one can learn asbolutely everything, I would not want to know absolutely everything, I think and feel knowing so maybe enlightening, but would be quite a dull and boring life, but I could be so wrong about that and that is okay if that should ever be to case. While I have personal beliefs of my own, I am not stuck in my ways with them, because I have truly learned the importance of keeping and having an open mind. Too many things can be so easily proven, but also equally disproven, one must follow their own heart and soul in the perrsuit of real truth. I have very much enjoyed or conversations and viewpoints on life. Thank you for that, I am truly humbled.
  24. I so know what you mean. My taste in music is somwhere stuck between the sounds of the 70's right on through to the 90's. Modern day music is definitely not like the tunes of old, which were so, so much better in my personal opinion. I am glad that my music style that I play is not aged in anyway, at least I don't think so, my music is somewhere between Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis, but on the whole I created my own unique type of music that I feel would sound okay even in the future, it's not everyones cup of tea, then again Jean Michel Jarre's music back in the day wasn't everyones cup of tea either and look where he is now.
  25. A Possible Game Add-on Teleport Anywhere: Over the many times I have played this game, there has always been one thing in my mind and that is the ability to teleport only where there is a teleport or a save monolith in any of the areas of Ancaria, but there are places that should have either more teleports or save monoliths, though I do not know if that could be done, not only that, I like the following idea better. Teleport Anywhere and I do mean literally anywhere in the game, should one chose to do so, this way, no additional teleports or save monoliths will be needed, the idea is that in the game, PS3 and XBOX 360 In the paused menu, have an extra thing to select, Teleport Anywhere, once selected, the map comes up and an x or something appears and you move that to the area of where you want to teleport to. This will not replace the carrier Imp for the PC version of the game and I am not altogether sure where this part of that menu section would appear in the PC version of this game. Maybe after pressing P for pause and a drop down menu appears then, possibly. Any other ideas anyone? The point and whole purpose of the Teleport Anywhere function is so that, it does not matter if the area that you wish and want to go to in Ancaria does not have a teleport or a save monolith at all. Surely this would be an advantage?
