  1. Me and Ryan played for a bit tonight....For a first go at MP it was pretty smooth...couple minor things I didn't like, for instance only one person gets credit for handing in the Slith Necklaces (unless you each have 3) but over all enjoyed it.

Agreed, no real issues outside of certain side quests not sharing and key items not spawning twice in some instances. Pretty smooth and was fun to see another player on the screen killing mobs with you :)

  2. Hosting one now

    Game Name: Dark Matters

    Password: Knuckles

Made a brand new level 1

Hmm I saw you in it, but when I tried to join it crashed and then disappeared from the server list :(

Edit: Saw your update, all's good :D

  3. My only concern is that the world appears to be an island. All right, they haven't finished their first project yet, but what about the empty areas we've had before which suddenly get filled in when expansions come? Looking good, all the same.

Take a boat to another island perhaps? I am also a tad confused by the island representation when "seas" have been mentioned multiple times (even with a serpent on the map!). Unless there is some sort of magic essence that makes up the "seas"? Guess we'll wait a bit longer to find out :)

  4. How much were you paying a month Ryan?

    :)

    gogo

$15 a month, which I've slowly come to accept as the 'norm' for the subscription based model. In the past I always thought buy to play (such as GW2) was the way to go, but if the developers can come out with quality content patches every 1-2 months then by all means take my money! I tend to binge play a lot of indie games, so if paying the $15 a month keeps me interested in the subscription game I've effectively saved money by not buying other games :D

  5. After three agonizing months playing WoW, I stumbled on to a free trial for WildStar. I had heard about WildStar, but at the time I was playing GW2 hard and did not pay it any attention.

I really like the combat system, which for me is the most important part of any game. This is the first game that I would gladly pay a subscription for.

Ironically luj, my guild and myself quit Wildstar this month to go back to WoW. After putting up with a lot of the issues the game has for the last 3 months, we finally decided to call it quits. Bad itemization, game breaking bugs, and the whole attunement debate are pretty much what pushed us out the door.

Which is really unfortunate, because I thoroughly enjoyed the combat system and the promise of hard/challenging endgame. But for me tedious does not equal hard. If they fix some of the major issues with endgame I'd be more than happy to resub, but until then I'll go back to WoW to prepare for Warlords of Draenor :)

  6. Well, this video confirms my several month long problem:

I'm running FireFox 28.0, and the titles don't come up on the map when I get the message window.

Anybody else have this problem? Or is it just on my machine?

I'm running Chrome and have also had this problem the last few weeks. I always thought it was just because they were messing with the fonts, but now I feel otherwise
