Well...I made it too 40! Should be ready on monday morning to join you all And its probli not the bandwidth...im sitting on ~.5mb and I didnt drop out in the 10man kami I ran in...but idk what it could be. Is the game/S2game client crashing or is it just dc'ing from the game and saying network lost?

Maybe its something to do with the patch, ill have another shot with a bow though. In any case, I was hoping to get a shuriken working with it so I could wear a shield too...

I think I'll still be playing it for a while...as long as there are character classes to try out that I haven't tried before and with all the possibilities I think I'll be playing for a while.

Well...I have it modded for extra damage, it is kinda low level, but even so...the stated damage is much higher than that dealt. I didnt know that ranged did less than melee with magic coup though. Anyway, here is a picture of my situation: And I havent taken tactics lore or ranged lore. Stated damage is ~700 for coup but hits for the stated 140-173 in the weapon inventory section. Any other pics help?

I havent gotten to the point to where ive modded it for the Area of Effect effect yet, but when I was testing it out I didnt notice an issue with the Area of Effect effect occuring.

Its definitely a shame....really quite annoying infact. I had my toon planned out really well...until this little...'bump' in the road. I think its bugged for all ranged weapons, I tested it on bows, guns and throwing daggers too and none of them dealt any more than normal left click damage... Edit: Here are some numbers. Left click stated damage: 140-173, actual damage falls within this range Magic Coup stated damage: 630-772, actual damage (with any ranged weapon) is the same as left click But as soon as I switch to a melee weapon...magic coup does the damage suggested...

How much Smith Art damage have you got? I believe the only thing thing that affects MC is Arcane Lore. Where the weapon is getting multiplier from +Damage % No, its not that, the magic coup has a listed damage of 3-4 times as much as a normal left click attack, however, against any enemy I try it only does the same as a left click attack.

Ive been playing a delphic high elf recently and I just bought her some new gear for kami on saturday and was doing some testing. Now id planned on using a highish level cobalt strike to hit mobs with and then use a shuriken and low regen magic coup (low enough regen that there are no normal left click attacks) with some regen per hit to regen the cobalt strike. However, when I was testing my new gear, the shuriken was doing exactly the same damage with magic coup as with a left click attack...has anyone had this issue before with shurikens or ranged weapons? And also, how rare are shurikens with %life leech when shopping, because I didnt find any over an hour or two. Thanks

Im fairly certain that they arent class specific...I at one point was messing with the item drops in SP and got kira's wall and nitao's hammer and they could be used by both seraphim and dryad I think...In any case...you could try them out with a bunch of toons to see. Its nice to see them drop in MP though. Edit: And also, all of the other quest items say what class uses them regardless of whether or not you are that class, whereas these dont. Ergo, non specific sets!

This is true. ^^ Or at least it was... I'm back to a state of desparation. I got all the parts in order and now my pc won't boot. I turn the pc on and all I get is a blank screen. Doesn't even go to Bios. Argh! I hate this... According to the LEDs on my motherboard "...the processor is damaged or not installed properly." Bleh. Time to check if it's seated properly. Needless to say I won't be in game or on the forum much until this is fixed. Bummer. I hope you get it fixed, especially in time for kami. If not...time to show that comp who's boss
