  1. Hey welcome aboard! The plant guy! Wouldn't this be the sweetest site around with professional landscaping! I wish I knew something about the greenery. Anything that would dress us up would be appreciated. I see a lot of hotels with wonderful plantscapes, this place needs a greener, fer sure! lol!
  2. I like it, very surreal Maybe adding a starfield background would add to it. You do great work
  3. You bet, intoxicating is right Great game...one of the best, I ever played. The community was it's finest attribute. Character building, special attributes, teamplay, hardcore mode...all the best stuff for a RPG there never was. AND.. I would never have met gogo, schot and all rest that I played sacred with... Aurora - You'll love it. Your a super strategist, best I can figure and this game will challenge your skills... Can't wait until Sacred 2
  4. Schot -- You're the best!! I know my name is quite long, but you could shorten it to Cel or add "The RingMaker" in the sig somehow...
  5. Very Impressive work, quite a talent you have. Have I seen your work the OGAME forum? Some of those sigs look familiar..
  6. Yessir! Welcome to the forums...Hope you stick around a little so we can get to know each other better... Enjoy your stay here... psst... this guys got some artistic talent...check out his post in the sigs
  7. I found this ring image and really like it . I hope it's usable. Ooh! One more
  8. I've got an account in UNI5, that I have to give up to devote the right time to UNI9. It has about 17,000 points and its ranked only about 1,800. 3 colonies with 2 over 200 fields and the third at 135. I'm in the same alliance with crunchie there, but would have to get out, if you wanted the account. It's currently in vacation mode and its sitting with almost 1 mill metal, 1/2 mill crystal and a little deut. There's 50 BS, 22 CR, 99 LF, 6 RC 32 LC on the main. If you guys might interested, let me know and we'll make arrangements.
  9. Hi All I have decided to take over Indy13's account after much deliberation and a few chats with gogo. This was a tough decision for me as I've been playing my current account for quite some time and there are hours of blood, sweat and tears invested. gogo has convinced me that this would be the best thing for D.A.R.K. as it would have the effect of raising the alliance overall points. My current account is around 21,000 points and Indy13's is around 80,000 points. To my friend Indy13. I have always had great respect for you and your masterful play. I'm hoping that I can play your account half as well. In your honor when I rename my new player name on your account, it will change from Celebrimbor to C31ebrimbor. I thought by incorporating the 1 and 3 into my new player name would in some small fashion be a tribute to the great Indy13. I wish you all the best in your real life challenges. @cyclops - Once I get a chance to look the new account over, deut trading to you is certainly on the top of my priorities. In the meantime, you can check with my son-in-law SandS at 4:86:6. He's quite the miner, trader and super-turtle. If he has extra deut, I'm sure he'll trade - just mention me to him and tell him I sent you his way. I'll be the first to admit, playing a top 400 account is a scary thing for me. I'm truly not sure where to even start. I think that once the high ranking players around Indy's territory notice there's a new kid on the block, I will come under some intense scrutiny. I will be posting for advise frequently, I'm sure... I've just e-mailed the UNI9 GO psychicduck to advise and seek his approval for the account move. I will set my own account to delete and place it in vacation mode to avoid any potential issues with rule infractions. Wish me luck... and thanks a million, gogo for thinking of me
  10. As the newest member, at this time, I would love a sig to wear. My name is from J.R.R. Tolkien and Celebrimbor was the main man that forged the rings of power that were given to the dwarves, the elves, and to the men of Middle Earth. Therefore, "The RingMaker". He also was the first to ferret out the evil intentions of Saruman and expose him for what he was. Unfortunately he was captured and tortured to death as a result. I think the sig would look pretty cool with a ring in it somehow. Let me know if you'd like me to hunt around for a good ring graphic to mix in to the sig.
  11. I am truly humbled and unbelieveably honored to be a member now of D.A.R.K. Thank you gogo for your support and kind words and to all who supported my nomination, I gratefully give my thanks and support. I will do my best to live up to the honor and prestige of D.A.R.K., I pledge that I will give my all to this alliance. Thank you (humbly) Cel
  12. Beer! ooh, and peanuts! Recipe: 1. Chill Pilsner Glass for at least one hour in the freezer 2. Open Beer 3. Pour Beer into Pilsner glass (tilting glass at 45 degrees and ceremoniously reducing the tilt until a fine head of Beer forms in the glass.) 4. Open Peanut container 5. Pour peanuts into a finger-friendly cup 6. Serve Beer and peanuts on a tray 7. Enjoy, while raiding 8. Repeat several times for the full effect or until you type the wrong coords ps. the salt from from the peanuts can obstruct mouse operation, so alway serve with a half a paper towel to reduce the abrasive salt. pps. do not try this at work
  13. While I see I do not meet the minimum requirements, I'm hoping that my friendship with D.A.R.K. would allow some consideration for joining this fine alliance. I would be ever so grateful, but would understand if now is not the right time to condsider my application to join. I remain, humbly Celebrimbor
  14. Hi All This is a super site - action packed, with a bunch of real great people. I'm Celebrimbor. I started using this name (from J.R.R. Tolkien - Celebrimbor forged the rings that were entrusted to the dwarves, elves and men), so I'm the Ringmaker. I played Sacred, way too much with a bunch from this crew...gogoblender, erialc, crunchie, schott and others. I've been playing OGame since last November in UNI9 mostly with a little time in Uni5 with a bunch from the DA Clan. I travel extensively for my job and often find myself without a reliable internet connection as I frequest small towns in the mid-west and high-plains of the USA for 2-3 weeks at a stretch. But, it puts food on the table and keeps me off the strrets at night (sometimes)... My UNI9 account was left unattended for quite a while after DaGirl (the DAG alliance leader) had to attend to some real life issues. Funny thing - after about a month or so without even checking in, I looked in on the account and found I still had tons of resources accumulating and I figured what the heck... I built up my mines and tech and put together a small raiding fleet. I was then approached by a nice enough guy and joined his alliance. While it's OK, there's nothing like the feeling of being among old friends. Maybe some time soon, I could join up with some old friends here in D.A.R.K. I'm from North Carolina, USA, married for (ready for this... 34 years...yes, to the same beautiful woman) and have 3 kids and now 5 grandchildren. Why do I play computer games, you may ask... well you may ask and I'll tell, someday...(the secret of being married for 34 years, lol) Well, that about it from here. It's always a pleasure to be in the company of friends
  15. Wow..... Super site. You guys are rockin', I'm very impressed! It's little ole me, Celebrimbor. A while ago I, after letting my account UNI 9 go unattended, I checked on it and found there was a ton of res left, so I decided, why not, and I started building techs, mines, and a little fleet. I was approached by a guy, who asked if I could join his alliance and I did - there's not much going with them, pretty uneventful and little action... Any chance I could dump the alliance I'm in in UNI 9 and join D.A.R.K.? Do you guys have a wing for smaller players? I'm only about 18,000 point now and get little time to play due my my job respnsibilities and the associated travel. I often find myself in some out-of-the-way little town without a good internet connection at the hotel/motel where I'm forced to stay. If not, no problem... you guys are hanging pretty well in UNI9 and I wish you all the best.... Cel (Kel)
