  1. What is your shopping routine? Note that if someone is idling on starting island, items will not be replenished.
  2. Reflection has very significant dimishing return at about ~70%. But even much sooner before this, each rune gives +0.4% chance or less (I got ~56% at RP level ~50) But damage mitigation can reach 100%, which is a terrible idea from devs. Hopefully, not so easy to achieve with Inquisitor (if even possible). I mean elemental, physical is quite easy to reach 100%.
  3. OK, let me tell you my story. I started a melee build, which was not supposed to use AS/NN focus spells for damage at all. And it worked, I had AS focus only for regen penalty/ca level without penalty. Before 75, I put 31 hard points for modding ZD and RP, and left it there. At about level 100, I wanted ZD higher leveled (each rune eaten gave no more than 1/5 of full ca level) so I started putting points into AS focus, again. This led to new mod point, even though I didn't need it, so I spent it on CM (chaos mod). So I was like "hay, let's see how weak it it without AS lore and no runes memorized", so I added RM to a combo, and went out there. Than I gathered some mobs around, wait till they come, casted the combo and... my eyeballs went out even with absolutely no care about Area of Effect skills and runes, it was still very effective! so I put some runes in it, made it regen for about ~3 secs and now use it as crowd killer, in a pure melee build... this is why I keep saying AS lore is not necessary The same trick would not work for melee seraphim or melee elf, where spells become weaker over time. And that's cool about Inqusitor
  4. Stun on CE is more useful in most fights. Champs which take 5 secs to kill but have high damage, are better to be stunned (which means 0 dmg taken) than killed 0.5 secs faster. Deep wound has been fixed and does not stack anymore (on PC, console version are quite old). And wound is only like 8% of max hp which is not that great And like always, I find AS lore unnecessary
  5. As I said in my previous post. Don't socket only +all rings, until several deffensive skills are mastered (const, toughness, AL lore) and RP gives >50% reflection at least 6 +armor sockets is required (niobium preferably ). This should be gear setup for every Inquisitor, until rare items with +GI aspect are found: Head: Insignia of Power (2 sockets, nice armor, phys mitigation) Arms: Ilgards or some rare piece with +deathblow, +skills, +all CAs etc. Shoulders: before AL mastery Ilgard's, after rare piece with all channel mitigation (sockets and other boni are nice) Belt: Sarakis, 2 sockets, phys mitigation, there is no better belt Torso: Cowl of Catharsis (3 sockets, all types of armor included) Legs: in earlier lvls (<100) use Pantaloons of Catharsis. Later on switch to Bloodrobe of Determined Justice, with +chance to block close combat Gloves, Boots: Ilgards Do some Griffon (ice dmg) & Boar (100% phys) runs, best item per minute ratio
  6. Me personally like when I'm able to play without pots at all. It's my 'thing' Even with both Inure and toughness, 70% phys and 40% rest types DM, const mastery and 30k armor, the fire nameless guardian takes away half of my hp in 2-3 hits. I find it funny actually when people socket only +all skills rings and then wonder why they have to bash spacebar all the time.
  7. If you're on a PC you can disable weather. If you're on a console... well, buy a PC
  8. Why not have both and not worry about armor or other resistances? (in melee combat)
  9. Melee elf needs DA lore, to increase dmg, crit, execution speed, mod points (expulse modded for CA block is a must have) I don't really get the idea of hybrid build. You can't swing a weapon and cast a spell at the same time, then why lower the char potential spreading points into skills useful only in one type of combat? staff lore is also a waste. Single ring with -enemy evade will give more bonus to to hit chance than this whole skill.
  10. Tactics Lore does increase damage for both primary atack and Combat Arts. The build looks solid, though I find AS Lore totally unnecessary. I don't have it, the only thing that raises AS aspect damage is combat discipline and CM + RM combo works well (trash mobs die in one cast). I have Toughness over AS Lore and find it very useful. Skip LA since it requires too much attention for very little return. As for Soul Reaver - it's too good to skip. Even at CA level 1, fully modded, will provide great att & def bonus = less healing pots. I do think Inquisitor needs every defence he can get, I had level 93 singleplayer Inquisitor who didn't use SR and when went to Niob at this level got his butt kicked badly. So yes, you will need Concetration mastery, and even keep it at your char level until 75 (together with Constitution).
  11. 2.02 - 2.10 2.10 - 2.12 2.12 - 2.34 2.34 - 2.40 2.40 - 2.43 Official site yea it's pretty misleading.
  12. True only for bloodclaw since he has high dmg and low hp/armor. Try to kill nameless only with reflection.
  13. Well mine is melee elf so my priorities are different from casters'. Skin: - reflect melee (obviously) - more fire dmg: I took it hoping that I'll find some nice weps with fire dmg. And eventually, Thain's Axe (114, one socket) already outdamages Desert Sable (105, two sockets) GI: - HP regen: I just hate healing potions As for Tempest... well I guess there are two ways to build BT: spammin with lower dmg or strong with high DoT dmg. I don't really know how are the regens with BT, so I dunno if it's easy to get into CA penalty zone.
  14. Reflection comes first, but reflected damage has been decreased in one of the previous patches, so it's not really a good source of damage anymore.
  15. Melee based CAs and primary attacks (left click) are both "close combat". Confirmed in PvP testing. Most people forget that if they chose "too much" regen mods, their CA levels will fall into penalty zone at some point = dmg/other mods are better in long term.
