  1. Just want to know, how do you think I would look with pink hair? My hair is longer now than in this pic. and if you are wondering why I would dye my hair pink, here's why. 2011 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer If I make my fund raising goal I will dye my hair pink. I will post pics of the walk if I make my goal or not.
  2. OK. My bad. Didn't see it.. Meanwhile.. Back at the ranch.. That looks like the original "Little Shop of Horrors".. FWIW - the newer one was better. Well done Wolfie! Turn goes to you!
  3. Yeah, yeah.. I know.. It's an old post - but I noticed no one bothered mentioning the easy and medium flicks. Easy: Christine Medium: Robocop Tho that has to be a production still or something because that one wasn't in black and white. Don't mind me otherwise.. Carry on... I did mention it....post #447...... I'll be right back with a new entry.
  4. I cleared the cache all the way to the beginning of time and all I see is horror.jpg
  5. Today, Flooxim has joined the Guild Wars D.A.R.K guild. GWDARKG welcomes Flooxim into the fold. (have some cookies)
  6. Well done Gogo! It was a bomb at the box office mostly due to the critics, as a fan of the comic I liked the movie because it followed the comic book story line. Howard in almost every book would find a way to get home but had to make choose between it and saving Earth from some evil menace. Make him a "super hero" with no true super powers save his deep sense of honor and commitment. After see it with friends they all hated it till I sat them down handed them each an issue of the comic and had them read, after they all looked at me and agreed that it did an ok job of catching the idea but it still lacked something. And to this day I like the film but feel it is missing something. p.s. I thought it would take longer for someone to get this one, will have to do some digging in the video library, brush off some cobwebs and blow away some dust.

  8. I will post a screen shot in just a few minutes, have to go and meet the school bus and get the youngest child first.
  9. I took this video earlier today during a lull in Hurricane Irene. What you see in this video is the upper third to quarter of the pylon that was the center support of a covered bridge that burned down in the late 70's. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=2192405383729 I will take another video after the water goes down so you can see what is normal, this river's flood stage is 9 feet at the moment it is about 12.3 feet.
  10. We live almost in a straight line north of you Nuckles, up here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. So we can commiserate with each other.

  12. I never knew you could understand Chinese ?! My bother also married a wonderful woman from China and now also has a step son. ( reminder: got to go over there for dinner more often)
  13. I cut of pieces of the brick (about the size of the tip of my pinkie finger to the first knuckle joint). Then put it into a tea infuser and pour boiling water to cover it, and as per the instructions throw that water out immediately (this is to re-awaken the tea). Then the first infusion is only for ten seconds, second for 12, third for 16, fourth 21, fifth for 27, sixth for 35, seventh for 45 and after this the tea starts to turn more and more bitter. Part of the aging process is that the tea leaves ferment as they dry, and as a result the aged tea is more expensive than regular tea. A brick of tea that has aged for about 30 years can go for about $450 to $500 dollars US. Next time I make a cup(s) I'll post a video of it.
  14. Any time of day for me, is a good time for a cup of tea. (I'm allergic to coffee) My brother went to China last year and brought me a brick of tea for Christmas that had been aged 17 years. Best tea I ever had. Still have a lot of the brick left too. Box it comes in: Box and brick wrapped in paper:
  15. He has been invited to audition for another play with a different group here, the musical version of "Spring Awakening". The original German play (same title) was written sometime between autumn 1890 and spring 1891, it carries the sub-title A Children's Tragedy. The original play was banned in Germany for a while due to its portrayal of abortion, homosexuality, rape, child abuse and suicide. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.
