  1. Hey Munera, thanks! I am GMT+10. It is currently 6.30pm (Sunday) here.
  2. Hey all, Have decided to apply A bit of general info if you haven't met me yet. I'm Nick, I live in Brisbane, Australia. I am a graphic designer by trade (?). I had been playing Sacred since it came out on console, then moved to PC due to the community (and Ice and Blood). I was not disappointed and I am glad this gives me the opportunity to apply. I have been trying to play a few nights during the week and as much of the weekend as possible. My evenings are generally US and EU mornings/days. Dark Matters has been my guide to Sacred 2 the entire way, the amount of effort put into the wiki and the forums echos the level of commitment that the Dark members exhibit. I am constantly amazed by the friendship and support that it's members show to others. It would be an honor to join with you. Anyhow, onto the questions! Favorite pizza topping This is a tough one.. if I am only allowed a single topping, it would definitely be pepperoni. If we are talking a complete pizza setup, I am currently addicted to the satay option from Crust. Marinated Chicken Breast Fillets, Spanish Onions, garnished with Snow Pea Sprouts, Sesame Seeds & a drizzle of Honey on a Satay base. mmmm.. Favorite Drink Alcoholic, my choice would be Scotch. Generally either with dry or neat. I'm not too picky on brands, but my current choice would be Ballantines (?). Non alcoholic, I drink a fair amount of soft drink, but I should really be drinking water. Where did you hear about darkmatters.org from? From memory, it was either a link from SIF or through the wiki. Most favorite book ever Neuromancer by William Gibson (?). Have read this many times and the themes/technology still don't seem dated (was written in 1984). The world is already well on it's way to being completely virtualised, brain-computer interfaces can't be much further off. If you have not read this book do yourself a favour and grab a copy. Favorite movie of all time. This is a tough one. I am not sure there is a single movie that stands out as my favourite. I particularly like Scream, Interview With The Vampire, Fear & Loathing, Clockwork Orange, Original Star Wars Trilogy, Empire Records, Matrix, .. There are more, I am sure I have forgotten some. Current Favorite Game? Sacred 2. I haven't been addicted to a single game like this in a while. All time best video game ever played This is a tie between Quake 3 and Diablo 2. Many, many hours were lost to them both. Favorite sport or hobby? I don't play anything myself anymore but I am a big fan of basketball, baseball, ice hockey and rugby. My hobby would be cars, mostly of the Japanese sports variety. What do you want for your birthday? Money for more tattoos! Super addictive, seriously. Do you know anyone from our forum? I have met a bunch of people from the forums, including; Dragon Brother, Gogo, Loco, Furian, Claudius, Timotheus, Dobri, Max, Woody, Immali, Etherian, Dobster, Llama. Sorry if I missed anyone Who can you get and name from this forum that can personally vouch for you as a trusted member? I'd like to hope Dragon Brother, Loco and Gogo! If applying for Fellowship Status do you agree to abide by all the posted Rules of the Fellowship? (This question need only be answered if applying for Fellowship/Clan status for a sponsored game). Absolutely. Cheers, dreeft
  3. Thanks heaps for that gogo, much appreciated! Great to chat with you I want to nominate Dragon Brother for the loot supplier of the year award. I should be around most of tomorrow.
  4. Damn it Garganthropod just took my 45 dryad!
  5. I've been playing playing pretty solidly for the last 24hrs and I have had this happen a few times. Definitely a server related issue.
  6. Bargaining is a primary skill for High Elf, Inquisitor & Dragon Mage in the AddOn. Basic idea is to take bargaining as your first skill choice, then find some relics that have bonuses to bargaining. You will now be able to find other gear that has +bargaining and you should be starting to see almost all yellow/3 star items in the vendors. This will allow you to equip all your new characters with reasonably good starting gear. Oh, and check out this page: http://www.sacredwiki.org/index.php5/Sacred_2:Bargaining
  7. Anyone playing at the moment? I will be on for a few hours.. If there's no one around, I'll probably be in a server called 'asdfgh' or something similar
  8. I am not sure if I have said it, but this is awesome. Great effort to all involved. That said, the link for the 'Sacred 2 Launcher' is not working :S
  9. This is great claudius, congrats on getting it all setup I will definitely hit you up for a run!
  10. Saw this today, I think it's great. He wrote the software and built the interface for it all himself, very clever. His comments in the description for the video are excellent.
  11. Already asking for cash when you don't even have a video up? Seems like they are relying on the success of TQ to sway users. That's a bit presumptuous. I'd be more than willing to shell out the cash if I could jump straight into the alpha today.
  12. Yeh, PS3 exclusive. That is awesome LordRaviel! How is the game? It looks pretty interesting.
  13. Sorry gogo, the word "broken" is a slang term. Definition of broken: "In reference to a game (e.g. video game or collectible card game,) "broken" implies there is some rule, character, method of play, or specific card that wields so much power it effectively "breaks" the game." The card shown here is potentially broken in that, at a minimum, it lets you draw four cards when you play it (this is really good and works in any color, since the card is colorless to play). For reference, each player only draws one card per turn normally, so this card puts you ahead by four turns right away. If the card makes it to the table and isn't somehow killed, your opponent has to sacrifice four cards in play each turn it attacks (also really good!). If your opponent manages to kill this card, you get to shuffle all of your discarded or dead cards back into your deck, including this card itself (also really good!). It has 12 power and 12 toughness, which is really big and hard to kill (for reference, players life totals start at 20 in this game, so this creature is HUGE)... So if I were to play this card and attack with it once, I'm guaranteeing myself an advantage of 8 cards to 1 (the four cards I drew plus the four cards my opponent is loosing when I attack in exchange for the one card that I played). In terms of game theory, this is rock solid. The only downside of this card is that it costs 10 mana to play. That's easy enough to get around, and like I said... you can play this dude in any deck, regardless of color. Also, the game has all kinds of cards that allow you to "cheat" cards like this into play, in order to get around paying 10 mana. Long story short: Pretty broken. I wasn't quite sure what you meant by broken either. This explanation is excellent. Detailed, but not complicated.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4leAT2R9Jw8 Crazy horse (wo)man!
  15. Yep. They use some nice spices on it, which gives it a distinct flavour. They also have a steak variation, which is pretty good too.
  16. This is some great information, good work guys! I haven't really been running any booster gear, but I will definitely be doing so now
  17. Hahaha, that's excellent. I'm glad to see there are some game companies that understand, and can see the humour in, the fact that there will always be people who pirate games. It's such a massive game (complexity and file size wise) and those who are pirating it are missing out on the multiplayer aspects.. which we all know are the best bits!
  18. In answer to your first question, it is when you click on the merchant. If you portal somewhere else and then back again, the merchants will refresh their goods. I am not sure on the second one. Does the number drop when you remove both items?
  19. I am a fan of the McDonalds muffins, but I definitely prefer Hungry Jack's (The Australian version of Burger King) breakfast wrap.
  20. Grr.. I haven't seen anyone online for ages! Stupid time difference. Playing now if anyone is around..
