  1. Hi Katia, seems like Dobri has given you all you need to know about starting your first Seraphim.

Welcome to the forums :) Are you playing single player? or online?

Let us know if you have any more questions, the people around here are very helpful!

  2. Just an update on the floods. The situation has worsened since last week and now the major rural towns are being hit hard. Most recently Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley.

Over 200,000 people have been affected. 8 people have been confirmed dead and at least 11 more are missing. Approximately $5 billion worth of damage.

Chattius, yes, we have many dams. Unfortunately most of the time they are running low, but as soon as we get heavy rain like this... well, a picture says a thousand words.

Here is a video from the main streets of Toowoomba show just how much water there is..

  3.

Interesting stuff... Just one question with regards to the BE mods...

Wouldn't the double hit mod make more sense on the Bronze mod? Let's say BE does 500 damage per hit 2x that is 1000 damage. According to the wiki, it's a 25% boost per hit. Taking our example of 500 damage, that would only boost it to 625 per hit.

I don't know for sure, but possibly because the double hit mod is only a 15% chance. I'd probably choose the guaranteed 25% increase if I knew I was going to get 100% chance of a double hit anyhow.

I didn't know BE did this. Very cool.

If you added a handful of defensive skills (Armor Lore, Warding Energy, Spell Resist, Combat Reflexes, Toughness) and fill the rest with support skills (Bargain/Blacksmith/EP) you would have an awesome utility toon... and if you had Dobri's suggestion of Kal'durs and CC10, boss destroyer.

  4. There's no quest giver for the Gyrvim Island Dragon on PC either.

It should still give pretty reasonable rewards? Roughly 100k XP at level 100?

42 level..gave me 450xp and some one star stuff...although it was not that easy killing it :sweating:

Wow, that's a terrible reward. He's not easy!

He's respawnable and can drop legendaries though, so he's worth the effort.

  5. Thanks for the guide.

But I am confused. I am unable to pick ranged weapons from the skill list. How did you unlock it since the build did not pick tactics lore or any of the other weapons lore as base to unlock ranged weapons.

You will need to switch out something to take tactics in order to unlock it.

If you're not using much from Death Warrior, you could drop the focus and use Tactics to unlock the mods for the CAs. Alternatively, you could drop CD.

  6. Best way to determine what you need is to take it as your last skill.

If you are taking a bit too much damage choose CR, if you want to level up quicker take Alchemy (Alchemy is awesome) and if you're finding your LA+CM+RT combo is not doing it's job effectively (or you're a bit lacking in power) take DL.

If you're feeling lonely, take Concentration :P

  7. Hmm...how bout a different one to the general theme...

"Do you think that 'invisible' dude behind you knows we can see him?"

haha, this is great. My initial thought was 'dude, don't look now, but I think that SW is taking a whiz..'

Knowing how to start a fire - priceless

This made me laugh out loud :D
  8. I live in Queensland, but the flooding is in the more remote regions and I live in the city. Queensland is about 700,000 sq miles, so it has a lot of contrasting areas (beaches/vibrant city/harsh outback).

I have a few friends who are from smaller towns but I believe their families are all ok.

It's a terrible situation for the farmers, they're almost constantly in drought. I am not sure they wanted quite this much rain.

  9. I use gMail for my general day to day account. I use it to sign up for websites and fill in forms, etc.

As an example, since May last year I have got 14 spam emails, and it has filtered them all for me :)

Even my own personal web hosting providers email protection can't match that.

  10. It won't be anything installed on your local machine, but it's worthwhile running those scans occasionally (once a month is fine.. or do it if your machine starts feeling sluggish).

Hotmail is not particularly secure. They are either cracking your password, or infecting you via a spam email in an effort to harvest your details to use to spam their junk.

Easiest way to avoid problems is use a long secure password (at least 8 characters with numbers and upper/lower case letters) and don't open any spam if possible.

    It's a shame that Hotmail's spam filter sucks :(
