  1. Hmm. This is gonna be hard. Never seen this movie, nor the two actors.
  2. Alright Steve, while you check out that tinypic site, might I post another shot in the meantime? Easy:
  3. I heard this one in the background of a AVGN CDI-review, and I just liked it. I should be flogged, I know, but can't stop listening to it. Haha. Most of the music in that game is terribly out of place, but the main theme is very listenable.
  4. Not sure if I got that entirely, Gogo, but I think I'll just try it out. I can return here with some thoughts on the game when I've played it.
  5. I've always liked Status Quo, although I wouldn't consider myself a fan. This is what I listen to right now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71fvDFqDZ48 Manilla Road is an old American underground heavy metal band. They are still playing to this day. If you ask anyone outside of metal if they have heard of them, they will answer no. They are greatly infuenced by NWOBHM, or New wave of British heavy metal, although they usually blend it with thrash and power metal.
  6. Oh, I see. I loved the demo though, so I guess I'll enjoy playing it through once. At least I won't have any problems with the game dragging out, eh? I think I'll ask a friend over to play the story with me. Did you play it alone?
  7. I seem to remember a reviewer saying that he finished the game in 11 hours on normal difficulty, all side-quests included. Is it really that short?
  8. I just ordered this game today. Tried the demo on ps3 last night, and I liked it. Ran smooth and had neat visuals. Right now I'm glad I'm a console gamer. No steam or even internet connection needed to have a good time. Btw, why is steam so unholy for pc gamers? I have steam on my computer for smaller games, but it isn't giving me any fuzz of any kind.
  9. If you go, don't forget to buy some of these: Have a great time whatever you choose to do!
  10. I suspected that last one would be a little hard to get, so here is the answer: The movie was "White sun of the desert", a Russian film from 1969. Decent one too, so go watch it. New screenshot: (I don't know why, but screenshots at gunpoint always look good)
  11. Another Heroes 3 fan? I'm delighted to hear that. I was really BAD at HOMM3, but I always just enjoyed the beautiful visuals and brilliant castle-themes. They were always the strength of any HOMM game in my opinion. Don't believe me? Then check out my personal selection of themes in my game soundtrack thread. Looking forward to HOMM6, and I was glad to hear that Paul Romero was making the soundtrack to that game aswell.
  12. I'm listening to the soundtrack to the "Dollars"-trilogy with the Clint himself. Whenever I hear this music, I know someone means serious business. Haunting melodies and stand-off atmosphere rules these great tunes made by Ennio Morricone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaNogNtT0zA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hYV-JSjpyU
  13. We have our own kind of porridge in Norway. It's a powerful meal that dates back to the 1300's. During Christmas, it's popular for farmers to put a bowl of hot porridge in front of their barn for the "barn-goblin" to eat, so that he won't cause any commotion or hurt the animals. The most common porridge in Norway is made out of rice and milk, and boiled into a thick stew that is sure to fill any stomach. It is usually served with sugar, cinnamon, butter and/or raisins.
  14. So you could stay as a spectral mercenary? "blind" guess on your movie would be Sahara... although I haven't seen that version all the way thru, and it was a long time ago I saw it... I think I'd remember that gun, tho... Ah, that haven't even crossed my mind. Perhaps I should make that a new hobby? Just register to forums and post until I have som kickass rank. ;P And by the way, Sahara is also wrong. Cool gun eh? If you had that illegaly in your house, the police would never find it as long as you kept it on top of an old stove. A hint about the screenshot: It's about a comrade who wanders the desert longing for his beloved wife.
  15. I just hope that I'm still unemployed when it's released I think I'll have to watch some gameplay videos on a PS3 to make sure it doesn't lag like hell. To me, framerates below 20 is gamebreaking.
  16. Tip for people who don't like steam: Buy a PS3 or xbox. I'm pretty sure the game would be worth it. ..unless they have those dreaded framerate issues like they had in dragon age for PS3. I'm talking fps down to 14 at certain points. Unplayable.
  17. Alright guys, let's step it up a notch. See if you can crack this potato: And by the way, I have no intention to stop posting, essjayehm. Why would I ever do that?
  18. Hey, congrats Steve! I did also go up one level, and I'm now a "Spectral mercenary". Couldn't think of a better name to suit my avatar and sig, to be honest. You revealed the answer Gogo, without anyone getting it right. Not sure who the next turn goes to. As far as I'm concerned, anyone can post a pic.
  19. Alright, I'll do that. Thanks for all the help and support.
  20. I asked my brother today what happened to the computer in the first place. He said that his first original GPU started to show signs of error in games. Finally, the whole videocard broke down, so he swapped it for another. Bear in mind, his computer was delivered with a strangely low 250W PSU for the entire system. After he bought the new video card, he purchased a more powerful PSU of around 750W. It worked for a while, until his system started to show more signs of failure. He then purchased a new computer, and dumped the old one with me.
