  1. Hello there. I just found this thread and there are some really interesting things to change for the better. One that I can't find in case it exists is the level position where a new skill is unlocked: I would like to decrease this so I get a new skill every level until level 11 to easier find out what kind of character I would like to play with.

    Sacred 3?

Anyway, great that the game is still under development. I hope they try go far as they budget go for a long development time so they squize all their good ideas into the game. Question, does anyone here know what kind of budget Ascaron had for the first game and Underworld and Ascaron/Deep Silver for Fallen Angel? Just curious if they operate on the same level. I for one do hope they don't try to outdo themselves with graphics this time, but we'll see.
  3. I want to see those textures changes, is there anywhere else you could upload your video? Perhaps Dropbox or something similar. Also, there's a fan patch for Sacred Underworld?! Will it works with Gold version bought at GOG?! What are the changes?!
  4. Fully agreed. I hate MMOs, the grind in them are amazingly boring it's hilarious and the quests have even worse meaning than in hack'n'slash games. However, I certainly hope they focus on small group fighting in multiplayer, like 4 to 16 people, so that a larger community could grow (thus more sales are done, devs could help the community with what's wrong and then have enough profit for a next installment.) Another reason for MMO only is that it requires internet connection and that's horrible for niché RPG styles especially when there's a Single Player section and of course no mod tools available.
  5. Less bugs (meaning they should wait with release to get it as polished as possible) and no **** restrictions against modding the game along with decent mod tools of course. Non-technically there's not much but what I loved about Sacred 2 compared to Sacred 1 is the new modifications for Combat Arts so any more upgrades there would be awesome as well as an even better Combo system.
  6. I don't know understand, the last 30 different games I've played recently accepted VSync asap I added it in-game and/or via d3doverrider (to force triple buffering) but it doesn't work in Sacred 2. Anyone has an idea how I could get it to work?
  7. Thanks guys, I will try it out! EDIT: Ahh, great. it worked! At least for myself but I didn't see the server until I turned Tunngle on which weird, I should be able to see my own server via LAN without a VPN. Anyway, this should mean that it will work for my friend. Now the next question, what exact files are needed to host a dedicated server because if it's a only a few dlls along with s2gs.exe then I could move the files to a separate computer and keep a 24/7 dedicated server!
  8. Yes, I remember that too from when I first bought this game however I have no idea how to add any specific settings nor which file unless it's s2gs.exe which is the one that runs as process for the server when I'm hosting normally via the client.
  9. I've been searching this forum for a while and the official and I can't seem to find any info about it. Anyway, I dont mind a homebrew, modded files or whatever to get it started. Now I was thinking when I'm hosting my server to play with my friend what if I kill the client process, restart the game and join my former server as if I'm a player that isn't hosting and my friend as well. Then if my client would crash (seems to have stopped after uninstalling Elite texture due to memory leak) the server is still intact and it won't ruin for my friend and I can just restart and join again. Now preferably, I have more computers in my home so I could always install the game and leave a 24/7 game/server running for even better server stability since it would even still hold if my computer crashed. We connect through Tunngle if that matters. Quite awesome, we have 9ms ping between each other and we live perhaps 3 kilometres from each other and we have different internet operators as I read in some thread about being kicked off in VPN hosted games due to high ping.
  10. I just hit level 45 on my Shadow Warrior and got enough points to start modding my SS. I took knockback and planning on Intent (crit) and last rage (damage build up). Anyway, the knockback doesn't just increase chance but also (or already?) makes enemies impacting others damage. Now I wonder what the impact damage is based on and if it scales with any skills and of course Combat Art level in SS? I made some tries to see how it works and it seems to work really good if I have a lot of melee enemies trying to hit me. I use a combo of SS then FR so I first hit like 30-50% of them that knockback a few others and finish off the rest with a FR that hits like 8-12 times lol.. I can't wait to get Rage mod especially if the damage increase applies for every hit with FR after SS..
  11. I play with 2 and I also agree that they mostly get in each others way. Their AI is quite stupid too, I wished I could have just one but stronger hehe..
  12. How many hits are that and with how much damage per hit?
  13. What?! I think I have 16% stored damage (maybe less) and you only get 26% at eaten 200 runes? I have eaten 20.. Eating runes is like 100x more boring than in Sacred 1
  14. I use Killing Spree in a combo with Rousing Command. Works perfectly, makes me hit everything (already do lol) and the extra damage is great to clear some enemies or up the DPS on bosses. I haven't mod it but the Control mod, duration increase and Sear will definitely help at higher levels. It's a pity Regen Per Hit doesn't effect cooldown but still you can read as many runes as your Malevolent Focus skill allows.. The damage storage could be higher though. My Shadow Warrior is level 40, I hit about 200 to 400 depending on enemy and their resistances and my Charge damage is about 500-700 if I kill everything I see.
  15. Thanks. Ya I figure I should register here, seems like a very good forum Anyway, I guess I will focus mostly on anti-evade and -enemies' evade.
