  1. No special condition, but to make them extra rare (they are tier 14 btw.), I only put them into two out of 4 droplists. So they should be able to get. But depending on the findings here I think I will include them in the others as well in the next release. :/
  2. Interesting. This would suggest that the animation system is to blame for it, when a playing animation gets interrupted by another event. (Knockback, Pushdistance, or other interrupt.) Would be nice to know if it only happens with certain animations or in general. Darting assault uses ANIM_TYPE_SM02, as is the highelves Firestorm. Coincidence?

Marcuswob is mainly working on the questscripts. Main goal is to have a proper(!) questlog, and tweaking some quest-flow as we find it better/more consistent to play. Also reactivation of unused quests and complementing some unfinished new ones has been and will be done if possible. I am pretty much working on all of the other stuff. (Items, Bosses, Monsters, odds and ends...) This includes unlocking Stuff thats already finished, but did for some obscure reason not make it to the game. That's the easiest part. Completing unfinished items, some legendaries and uniques or the T-energy-sets (= wrappings of mutation. ) takes a lot more time. Also balancing of bosses, items and spells is time consuming and we need a big crew of beta testers! We already fixed and included in the Patch: Unlocking XMAS-Island, Fistweapons, Throwing Potions, New Sets for TG, SW and all other Chars, New Uniques, New Legendaries, New Quests, fixed the "Arkenmarks Refuge" Dungeon, Unlock Items can drop regularly, unavailable Shrinkheads can drop now and various other fixes and additions too numerous to mention all here. Just read a bit in the thread.   7. Well as it would seem from the video feeds, the GAU has already happened. The security envelope around the critical reactor core ripped or melted and the surrounding concrete building no longer withstood the pressure of the boiling cooling system. The block fukishima 1 exploded.   8. I've been looking into that one for a long time now. I got a hunch on what is causing it, but it is a bit troublesome to mend. The characters prone to getting frozen when hit by pushback and knockback spelltokens have their model mesh (wireframe) directly on the ground (0 z-coordinate), while those who do not get frozen that easily have meshes floating a minor bit above ground (+0.237 on the z-axis). I tried to check if it really is because of that, but was not able to reproduce the freezing error with the normal toon in many consecutive runs and there were so many other things to do for the cm patch. :/
  9. Nice to know it worked all right in the end. It is somewhat strange, that the launcher was able to see the en_UK values of the registry, while the patcher obviously read those too (there would habe been a waring about unsupported languages else) but forgot to store the value in the language session variable. There is no need to run the patcher manually with admin rights (right-klick->run as admin), because it was set to demand it anyway. Since it got fixed by the reinstall I guess sth. was wrong, but I cannot tell what exactly. XD
  10. No E: is the file where I keep the patchfiles to compile the patcher. There should be a line stating that patching the global.res in en_UK was successful, else there might be a problem with the registry keys for your sacred 2 installation. That the other localizations are skipped is normal, but your current one should get patched.
  11. So far not, but maybe there is a way to clear all combos by hex-editing the savegame. I don't know enough about the savegame structure yet to be sure about it.

  13. No, but MegaDev did hack the chest file in order to get this weapon or modified the scriptfiles to get this combination dropped. Whatever itemtype or blueprint is stored in the chest or svaegame is saved and even stays that way if you change the scripts afterwards. You can even get items that are not properly defined in the scripts that way. (I.e. an Kaldurs Legacy Bow or sth.) The beeeffgee blueprint is simply there to have the item summoned by the beeeffgee spell with the following token: entry2 = {"et_summon_item", 1000, 1412, 0, 5 },
  14. Hello Vittoria, how did this error occur? Did you try to load a character that you played with the CM patch in the normal game after disabling the CM patch? In that case the new content is lost on loading the savegame and stays lost after re-installing the CM. Keep the CM Patch characters separate from those you play in normal mode. Never reload a heavily played and geared CM Patch toon in a normal Sacred 2 environment. I think you have no chance other than re-installing the cm-patch and finding your missing sets again. Sorry. For the itemtype.txt file: Did you modify this file in any way? Did you recieve an error notice about this file while installing the cm-patch? If nothing else helps, download the Sacred 2 reset Tool from the Troubleshooting part in the first posting in this thread, to reset to a clean Ice & Blood version and install the cm patch again.
  15. To save you some time, it cannot be changed that for example TG cannot use 2H equipment or the Seraphim cannot use 2H Axes (hafted). You can give them the lore and you can change classifiers so they use them as other items (botches up animations ofc.), but that is it. Everything else is hardcoded for each character. (The toons mostly don't even have the corresponding animation files for the weaponclasses they cannot use.)
  16. Gee, thank you guys! I can pass a lot of the praise on to this amazing community all over the world. We wouldn't be standing where we are today with the CM Patch if it wasn't for you. (Well, ofc. without the community there would be no sende in makin' it in the first place, I guess...but you know what I mean. ) The next Release (v0110) is nearing an Open Beta Pre-Release so stay tuned.

  20. Not sure I understand what you mean. PVP is Player vs. Player, and normally each one of those should have brains of their own to play... If you are talking about AI of NSC vs. Player, then the answer is a clear maybe. We cannot change the AI scripts as such but we can use what is there and combine it. It really is just a handful of conditions that work like "if this then do" and a few added range and distance modifiers. For example, I can give the NSC a set of spells/CAs and also tell him do use them in a specific order if I want. Then I can tell him to change this spellorder when his HP falls below a certain value or tell him to flee or sth. else like that. Those are pretty much the main options.
  21. Hmmm this is quite a delicate issue, but I want at least to try to answer you. Judgeing by your descriptions, I would not think it is you and it makes me quite sick to see womens self confidence crumble just because they have experienced all too much jerk. Being suckers for clubs, alcohol and fast, meaningless sex is true for about 70% of male youths here in germany too. That is sad, but it also means there are 30% of the quiet and nicer types around that might even be too shy to talk to women at all. I don't know where your interests in your spare time lie and I certainly do not know where you found this nice assortment of quality idiots (ok at a certain age most men are those), but can you think of some places related to maybe a hobby or interest of yours that won't be an obvious nesting ground to them? It might be a good thing to have a closer look at some men found in those habitats. In conclusion what I am hinting at is: 3/4 of a good foundation for a lasting relationship are common interests and activities to share and talk about. Speaking as a male geek starting the 13th year of relationship, I can definitely confirm the unavoidable clichee to be mentioned in these circumstances: There are other types of male out there.

  23. Well that's true, but can be expanded on all whedonesque wonders. It would have been so really awesome to see the story of the film "Serenity" evolve through several seasons of this marvelous series, though.
  24. Okay, I try to understand what you want and will try to answer to it: The patcher gets its path information from the OS registry. Also it depends on an unchanged and non modded sacred 2. If you have altered your scriptfiles in some way, the patcher will throw an error that Sacred 2 is not installed. The problem is somewhere with your files, not our product.
