<p>acute mind and healing, then spamming this nice net attack which roots, spreads on nearby enemies and burns them on hit and DoT because of damage lore</p>
<p>Add totems, a companion, curses, ...</p>
<p>Lot of fun to play, but you really really should know what you do and how to choose your equipment.</p>

<p>Characters like these are what I miss in D3, SA3, .... I always liked to play totally against the planed design of a character.</p>

<p>I seem to remember magic, fire, poison, ice, but I'm not at all sure about that.&#160; I remember that it really helps to have the right relics setting in the relic "dial" to match against whichever one you're fighting.</p>

		<title>Viability of melee characters on higher difficulties</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>I've reached the Swamp in Gold with a decent Seraphim dual wielder. I've mastered Constitution and Armor Lore, but you do have to be careful there. I'm not looking to go beyond Gold unless I can figure out else I can do to mitigate the pain. I'm doing the Celestial Seraphim path due to the life leech set.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>The skills I chose are below:</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Tactics Lore - Around 1/2 of current character level</p>
<p>Armor Lore - Mastery</p>
<p>Dual Wield - Mastery(probably a mistake)</p>
<p>Constitution - Mastery</p>
<p>Celestial Magic Focus - 20 points</p>
<p>Celestial Magic Lore - Enough for mods on CAs I do use</p>
<p>Sword - only 1 point</p>
<p>Toughness - 1/4 of current character level</p>
<p>Spell Resistance - 1/4 of current character level</p>
<p>Exalted Warrior Focus - 20 points</p>

<p>&#160;</p>
<p>I'm thinking that Toughness would have been a better mastery choice than Dual Wield since it has across the board damage mitigation.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>I'm wondering if making Toughness the next mastery choice would do much to help on the higher difficulties.</p>

<p>If I have 5 pts in lore giving like 30% damage will it add to the 100% for 130% damage 230 total?</p>
<p>Or will it multiiply the 200 or 260?</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi, I was building a character and I noticed at the beginning of my sessions I did not spawn at the monlolith, rather I would spawn in the middle of enemies.&#160; Has anyone else experienced or fixed this problem?&#160; I just died and it's going to get worse as I am only in silver.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>I've been trying to sign into the International Sacred Forum for the past two days; but got the "invalid link" message each time I tried.</p>
<p>Even a re-directing from the Deep Silver forum didn't work.</p>
<p>Trying to sign in at the German forum, didn't work, nor did signing in to the International or German Sacred site.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>So I checked the Deep Shi.. Silver forum and didn't see any notification at all over there. Seeing that some of the SIF-mods are mods there as well, I can only assume DS is aware the Sacred site is off line.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Anyone else noticed this and / or has any&#160; news:)</p>
<p>It would be a real PitA if the forum and all the information it contains is lost forever. :|</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>The boots of the dragon mage Pyx set are called Knobelbecher in german and dice cup in english.</p>
<p>A Knobelbecher is a cup made of hard lether, you fill dices in, close the opening with the hand, and smash the Knobelbecher on the table after removing the hand. If a dice is not covered by the Knobelbecher when it hits&#160; the table: free drinks to all of the dicing round.</p>
<p>So I think a dice-cup ortdice shaker is the correct translation. But for 100+ years Knobelbecher is the soldiers nickname in ther german speaking armies for their jackboots. It is made from a hard leather, impossible to destroy but also impossible that it will ever fit on your feet how many miles you walk with it.</p>
<p>They look like a dice cup, with just a foot part added.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>100% chance to halve regeneration time and the regeneration clock always starts at 6 o'clock.</p>
<p>Now add 20% regeneration time bonus from combat discipline at mastery and suddenly the regeneration clock starts at 8:20 o'clock.</p>
<p>Or do I have bad bad eyes?</p>
<p>But it really seems that regeneration starts at twothird of the clock....</p>
<p>Seen in AddOn and splitted regeneration mode.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>My hardcore Dragonmage Mentalist used to do 7s reg per hit to rechanrge its energy blaze. 200 runes read into each buff and 100 read into energy blaze. This was at level 108.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Now he is level 130: 100% chance to halve regeneration time, combat discipline mastery and the ernergy blaze is at 2s regeneration time because I threw all reg per hit and chance to hit equip into the chest and changed it into halve regentime and +x% regentime equip.</p>
<p>And since the regen clock starts at the last third I can spam energy blaze. And the blaze has a boost of 63% to its combat art radius.</p>
<p>Same boost to runes of protection and the 38% chance to stun affects a real big area.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Even the playing was like my old Sohei in platinum, now he is a mage, a real one.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>

		<title>My 2 bits of appreciation.</title>

<p>I'm completely 100% new here. As soon as my account was validated, I jumped right on to creating this topic.</p>
<p>Firstly, I'm a long avid player of Sacred 2 (Have it 3 times <img src='http://darkmatters.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/icon4.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />) - So finding out that the servers went down... It destroyed me. I then googled Private Servers to see if I can get any info on if there's anybody hosting some and I found Dark Matters CM Patch 1.40 and I downloaded it. I love the changes.</p>
<p>I just want to thank you from Dark Matters so much for trying, and keeping an abandoned game going. Trying to polish out the bugs and flaws, and doing things the original devs appeared they didn't seem botherd to do.</p>
<p>I read on the forum somewhere (I forget where) that theres a bug report place for the CM Patch, but I have tried looking for it and I can't seem to find it again, so I will write it here in hope that someone can direct me to the right place <img src='http://darkmatters.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/icon4.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' /></p>
<p>When questing, sometimes when a quest goes down a level, it'll direct you to the nearest enterance and not the correct one.</p>
<p>I'm not sure if this is just mine or its a CM bug: The Concert questline is bugged for me. Directly after the concert, all the characters dissappear and the quest circle stays 2 quest steps behind (clearing the camp of undead?)</p>
<p>Dragon Mage: When in Dragon Berserk, you can temporarily bug duration of it by killing something a split second, or &#160;at the same time of when it's supposed to end. I did this, it gave me an extra 10 minutes at least.</p>
<p>Seraphim: When using skills, and dual weilding, sometimes she'll not use the skill, but it'll go on cooldown still.</p>
<p>Dryad: Sometimes she'll say there's too much junk in her trunk, but her ass isn't fat. Not sure if this is an actual bug though.</p>
<p>I'm sorry for a stupidly long post for my first one. But I really did just want to give my appreciation and my bug list. I hope theres going to be more patches. You've achieved to get another fanboy of Dark Matters. &lt;3</p>

		<title>Focus vs Lore</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>I've been browsing builds for a while now and I keep seeing people take a Focus skill before a Lore skill in many (if not all) of them and when choosing only one of them it most often is the Focus skill.</p>

<p>What's the reasoning behind this? Does Focus increase the overall power more if you read enough runes. From what I have seen the Lore skills affect all parts that strengthen the skill without the necessity to read runes so I would opt for a Lore skill over a Focus skill.</p>

		<title>A lost city/town: Torfingen?</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>I was doing some research - playing through Sacred Underworld and did the Buried Slaves quest.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>This is the one where you go to Gnarlstat to get the element of Earth and you run into the gladiator dude who wants you to help liberate the slaves. So you get the cell key from one of the Dark Elves, killing them off, of course, then take him to the armory to get him and the other slaves weapons. Then you go to the kitchens where the women are being kept&#160;- and take the women outside.</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>In the log book I noticed for the first time playing through that it mentions the women don't have to go far "to reach Torfingen or Bravewall"</p>
<p>&#160;</p>
<p>Bravewall, I know where that is - but I've yet to come across Torfingen... Anyone got any info on where that might be? Another name for High Marsh perhaps?</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>Ok, I bought Sacred 2 Fallen Angel collactors edition a LONG time ago, but at that time I was playing games like WoW, LOTRO, AoC, and several others and I only had a limited amount of harddrive space, so never got to installing Sacred 2.&#160; Now several years later I thought what the hell and installed it, but I seam to have missed the good times of online play now that Ascaron went bankrupt.&#160;</p>

		<title>Do We have a Guide on Companions?</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p><span style="color:#00ffff;">I normally get the Bear from one of the early quest and over time if I don't turn in the quest he, turns from a wimpy bear that is scared of all confrontation, to a full grown beast tank willing to take on all that approach me.</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#00ffff;">I've heard there are others, but I don't know if they evolve the same way.</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#00ffff;">But every time I've gotten the quest my bear has evolved, but my son has the quest and he's all the way at the Guardians, and the bear is still a baby bear, hasn't grown for him, what triggers the growth?</span></p>
