What level do you need/should be to play gold, platinum, niob?

Recommended Posts

The game recommends Level 60 for Gold, 100(?) for Plat and 140 for Niob. However, if your build is strong enough it shouldn't matter if you go 10 or 20 levels earlier than that.

Good advice.

Don't do what some people do and think that because they can complete the campaign easily enough in one difficulty they can progress to the next straight away.

Like level 88 into Niob is NOT a good idea :(

Also higher difficulties have a higher minimum enemy spawn level..with the Dryad and Wastelands areas having the highest. If you can handle those areas with no problems then you're ready for next difficulty

After 2.40:

I rush all my chars through the campaign.

~level 40 finish silver

~level 45-50 finish gold

~level 80-90 finish plat

now time to enjoy niob.....

monsters in Grunwald start with level 119 / Orcs 122

You need a niobchar with smithskill and good items to survive ...

my dw-int-staff-dryad (thx Viper for this great idea) in plat:

GOGO the links stats should be update as for patch 2.40:

There is no restriction in entering a difficulty level other that to complete the main quest.

For every difficulty along with the max level of mobs there are also the minimum mobs level:

1)Bronze- Silver level 1

2)Gold Level 41

3)Platinum Level 71

4)Niobium Level 101? (I have never went to Niobium yet :) )

Even though rushing is good , no matter what someone does, he could easily die when monsters are at 15+ level.

So , I suggest to enter Gold at minimum level 35 and stay there until level 60.

Also, for platinum you could stay from 60 to 90 level.

At level 85-90 you are ready for Niobium
