Well this is a PC bug, but I don't know where to put it. Not everyday you can float miles into the air ;)

Question two: When my husband and I play in offline co-op mode sometimes we can both use our mounts, but most of the time only the one who started the game gets to use their mounts. Which way is it supposed to work?

 

I have found that the only solution for this is to log into that players account and save the game, then go back to your original game.

Hi, 1st post I write, sorry it have to be asking about a bug...

 

Well, the problem is with the cristal skin buff. The buff have a regeneration time for the aspect mystic stormite that starts at -29.5 and going up the more runes you read. Well, I belive that means you get better regen times for your other stormite combats arts, but I noticed that reading CS runes are getting my GT, RN and FF reg times worse... is this a bug or is working the way it has suppose to be and I am wrong?

Increasing your buff increases the "regeneration penalty" for ALL combat arts (including mystic stormite), but it should also decrease the "regeneration time" for mystic stormite. I haven't played an elf for a long time, but I think the reduction in regeneration time is not as good as the increase, thus giving you an overall small increase in your mystic spells, whereas your pyro and arcane spells will have a larger increase for each Crystal Skin rune read.

 

Hopefully someone can confirm what I think... :D

Me and my mate have a problem with the co-op part for ps3, we just completed silver difficulty and are now heading for gold. However player 2 dosnt get his stupid mount with him, we thought no deal, he could just buy a new mount. That he could not do... So this must be a bug in the game?

 

Now we have player one with same mount as he had in silver, and player 2 with no mount...

 

Anyone know about this?

I actually found the solution for this problem by myself.

 

Step 1. Continue campaign

 

Step 2. player 2 joins.

 

Step 3. light up a new monolith

 

Step 4. player 2 saves and leaves.

 

Step 5. Light up the monolith again (same or different does not matter I guess)

 

Step 6. Player 2 joins the game again, and he will spawn with mount this time.

 

 

HOWEVER it doesnt seem like player 1 nor player 2 can buy a mount again, it is like the merchant have sold out ;) which dont make any sense ..

I can only use my mount in Campaign, if I join a freeworld game it says I don't have one.

Did you do the mount quest or did you join a game and completed the quest in that game but you were able to buy a mount? If you did it in the other game you will have the mount but if it dies you wont beable to buy another either until you complete the quest.

 

If it is the later then you need to do the quest during your campaign.

 

If you did do the quest in your campaign then when you join or start a free world you have to hit the RB and push up on the stick to call for the mount, it just does not appear when you join.

A "bug" that has always annoyed me: every now and then when you get hit, your character will say something like "I need better protection against physical damage." Or ice damage, or fire damage, etc. The bug is that the damage type that your character says you need better protection against has nothing to do with the damage type of the monster that is hitting you. It is based entirely on the damage type of the weapon that you are wielding. For example If you are using a weapon with 55% fire damage and 45% physical, it will say "I need better protection against fire-based damage," regardless of the monster that is hitting you. This is on PS3, not sure about XBOX and PC.

Yup, that one's on Xbox as well. We had it earlier on PC but was patched out ;)

Well I had an annoying bug/glitch. I was playing a Pyro High Elf and gathering mobs of Kobolds to kill. I got them all in one go using Blazing Tempest but then the game just froze. Really fricken annoyed because I forgot to save my game. Now I get paranoid when the game looks like it's about to crap itself and I'll save constantly.

 

I also was spamming the L1 button and that froze the game as well.

PS3 version SW invincible shadow veil skeleton build, I ran ahead of my skeletons and nothing was around and I died not once but twice, spell resistance increases chance of critical hit everything hits harder now with spells and I have 68% resist not counting items resistance (Yes I tested it out I had low spell resist then I jacked in bunch of points into it and damage I took increased alot from mobs I took very little at start.)

There are very few enemies that cast spells on PS3. Spell resistance is probably not your best defense. I would suggest Combat reflex, armor lore, toughness if you think you have a problem with taking hits from enemies. either way. this in not a bug that I can see.

 

What monsters are you dying from? on what difficulty and what level?

Yeah, that sucks big time. I've done it a few times myself, and even created a character that could freeze the game with one CA, every time. The consoles seem to only be able to handle a medium-size crowd with those huge DoT combat arts.

Using any minions, like the skeletons, or Rallied Souls, opens up the Invisible Shadow Veil Shadow Warrior to attack. If an enemy hits (with a SPELL) one of your "teammates" while you are veiled, you also take damage. Maybe even MORE damage than is being done to your companion. I haven't fully tested the phenomenon, but I know it's true on the consoles. If you're gonna live in the shadows, then teammates, companions, escorts, etc are a no-no, IMO.

It was on gold, dragonpass, I cleared the mobs then I ran ahead nothing around I took 2 +800dmg hits from nothing and died though I had 4k+ hps. Mobs from that area hit me 200dmg tops before I added alot of pts to resist. Second time was at the octopus boss I wasnt taking much damage from it(400dmg at most) when I did get hit then with full hps I took a freaken 2k+ hit and died and at that time I had over 5k hps. Ive learned thru my other SW that keeping hps full is very important, ive seen mobs hitting 20dmg drop my other DW from 10k hps to almost death in a instance so I know there r dmg bugs from mobs cause there is noway something hitting 20dmg on u can drop you're hps from full to almost death when u got 14k+ hps in a instant.

Anyone else have this bug: Paralyzing Dread causing lockup.

Paralyzing Dread on consoles is very buggy. Most of the reports were that status ailments that you have on gear/jewellery/socketed will affect you, not the enemy. I can confirm that for sure. Probably that is the same issue, just "more complicated" and is causing complete console freeze.

 

Sorry to say, but console Inquisitors pretty much have to go without that Combat Art

Not sure if a glitch or not, but I'm lev 100 and that's supposed to unlock plat, and, well I can't get into platinum, guess I'll have to finish Gold, campaign, but rather annoying, seeing as guide that came with game said gold unlocks at 60, plat at 100, Niob at 140, so.... :drool:

Xbox - console locks up EVERY time I enter the high elf outpost cave north of Sloeford. Sometimes I can get a little further in than others, but it's just a matter of time. Not sure if it's simply bugged from my downloading the game from Live though maybe. Have to manually reset my console, causes a complete lock up.

 

Anyone else have issues in that particular cave?

I don't know about multiplayer online, but for campaign/single player free-world, you HAVE to defeat the lower difficulty before the higher one is unlocked for campaign OR free-play. Except Bronze :(

But probably as you said, from downloading the game would be my only guess.

On the 360 while playing a inquisitor dual wielding staffs I noticed that the second strike of CE can hit opponent way out of range. A bug for sure but a convenient one for sure :)

Actually, Avianti, that happens with seraphim (Pelting Strikes) and Shadow Warrior (Frenzied Rampage) as well. It will also happen if you proc a double-hit (with any char/CA or reg attack!) and the cc enemy dies and there is a legal target within range (~2 screens).

 

Bug, yes. Complaints, no! :)
