FrostElfGuard 9 Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 Here in Central Canada they have done all the variations in recent years... bags were free, then they sold re-usable bags, then they gave you a discount if you used re-usable bags...now they just charge if you want bags. The price was 2 cents a bag, now it is 5. The plastic bags have changed to now be lumo-degradible (they break down in sunlight--so you can't re-use and re-use 'em). I have 3 re-usuable bags in the car... which I often forget to take out of the trunk! The time to charge for bags is here. Soon enough the other places that offer free bags will stop too. Yup. We're going to have to pay for garbage bags folks! Link to comment
