Opera keeps freezing

heres my thread from the opera forum Might as well post it in here to (we might have a genius or two in her )

 

 

 

 

Opera keeps freezing

iam using:

 

Version8.54

Build7730

PlatformWin32

SystemWindows XP

 

JavaSun Java Runtime Environment version 1.5

XHTML+VoicePlug-in not loaded

 

ok hers the prob opera just freezes up (if you click on in you get the "not responding" "tag" on it and the opera "O" in the upper left courner goes poff and I see I "dos" icon there

 

my hd starts working like a maniac most of the times everyting os ok after about 5-30 sec (sometines the only ting to do is a reboot)

 

I have notised that opera is using quite a bit of memory (for a browser (50mb atm) but I have see it as hi as 110

 

this BUG is driving me crazy and I have done somthing I never thought I would do (ive installed firefox) I have used opera for years but this bug is realy getting on my nerves

 

I have never had any problems with opera before now And I realy hope someone can help me with this prob

sorry bhj...I really have never tried it

I know it's supposed to ( was supposed to have been ) the fastest browser on the market fer awhile.
